Amazing food. Unexpected on the ski-slopes. The restaurant is worth buying a ski-pass and going on the lift to the slope even for the non-skiers. A great approach to the desert - multiple things on a once big plate to share, and nothing is too sweet. Despite being wholly booked and super crowded, the service was very fast, even though we had a large group of people there.
Everything fits here: friendly service staff, very good food, plus a wonderful view. Even 'long-term guests' can make themselves comfortable on sun loungers and enjoy nature while eating and drinking. Currently recommended: Carpaccio with
Duck liver cubes on cranberry vinegraitte. The 20 minute hike is definitely worth it - not just for the food.

A breathtaking view. A magnificent restaurant on the slopes and dishes too too too too good! We also have enough on our plates and for affordable prices (35.00 CHF per person for a dish, a soda and a dessert shared by two). I recommend it to all skiers and snowboarders in Zermatt (or walkers for sunny days)

Two times we visited the restaurant Chez Vrony this August. Just for a drink. We immediately said that we do not want to eat. Nevertheless, we were very friendly received, we could choose a table and were very courteous.
On another day we were earlier and opted for a late lunch at Restaurant Restaurant Chez Vrony. Again, the service was perfect. The food was very nice.
The restaurant is geographically located perfectly. Terrace overlooking the Matterhorn.

But when you look at the Matterhorn in the sun lounger, the waiting time goes by fast :-)

The interior of the restaurant is very nice.
Now in the autumn holidays were probably not so many guests, but I can imagine that it must be absolutely crowded in the main season! Definitely book!
A visit worthwhile !! Whether for hikers or visitors, who make here only a small walk from the mountain railway. Price ok, finally you get fine on the plate.

We have been here a few times both last year and this year, fantastic food and views.
Right along the ski slope. Very friendly staff and fantastic food. If you don t mind paying a bit more for some quality, this place is well worth a visit.
Since the food is prepared on site, some dishes are available as a vegetarian option, even if it isn t mentioned in the menu.
Delicious food with breathtaking views. Make sure to reserve a spot before you go to Zermatt. It is highly recommended that you know how to ski / Snowboard. It is possible to walk from Sunegga after taking the Funicular but make sure to get overshoes because the route is quite icy. But definitely worth the effort!!!!

Bring your hiking boots (if not on skis) and sunscreen, but then enjoy a once in a lifetime experience. The food is very good, but the views and the atmosphere make this unforgettable. Try the bitter lemon spritz, great drink!

Amazing food. I recommend the Chez Vroni Burger. Really nice. Access is a bit difficult during Summer i imagine, since the restaurant is in on a mountain.

After 6 days of skiing, I can say with a clear conscience: No other ski huts that we have visited came to Chez Vrony in terms of quality!
There are delicious dishes and drinks here. You have a magnificent view from the terrace of the Matterhorn. The staff is very friendly.

Beautiful ski in chalet restaurant on the slopes with gourmet food and great setting. Reservation required several days in advance as it's very popular.

It doesn't get much better; in the sun, on a beautiful terrace, overlooking the Matterhorn, delicious food. This is high on the list of best experiences and is an absolute must. With the train to Sunnegga, just a fifteen minute walk to Chez Vrony, a few hours of delicious lunch and then descend to Zermatt in two hours. A great holiday.

The place where you can eat great food watching the Matterhorn and sunbathing between two runs (freeride or groomed, there s enough for everyone!).
Service is really friendly and efficient.
If you would spend any money eating in the Zermatt ski area during the day, you should make a stop here. You pay approx the same as other restaurants but you get really nice food and drinks (though we had cola). The cheese ravioli was great. Even the quinoa was good (I don't like it normally).
The guys next to us really enjoyed the burger so I guess I will try that next time.

Can't beat the view or the fondue. Do it at the end of the 5-lakes walk instead of going back up to Sunnegga at the end.
(Start as early as possible and swim in Grunsee first).
Location and ambience top !! Go there everytime. Reservation recommended. Somewhat tight but okey. Prices tend to be higher- food is good.
The Chez Vrony offers an excellent excursion for gourmet connoisseurs of all kinds with a very charming ambience and lovingly prepared menus, plus well-selected drinks (wines ;-)). Not to forget the fabulous view of the Matterhorn and the surrounding area. We recommend. THANKS
The food and the view were great, so worth it! Direct access with skis possible from the slopes. Service rather moderate, therefore a star deduction.
Excellent food and service. We had a relatively limited choice because we were on the gourmet pass, but still enjoyed the atmosphere and the matterhorn views.

Chez Vrony is a good destination for a refreshment break in Findeln even during the pandemic. The menu is limited, but still excellent, and the burgers, wraps and cakes are served hygienically. There is space for skiers around the terrace even if there is no seating.
It is a restaurant on the way to Zermatt, from Lake Leisee in Sunnegga. When you sit on the terrace, the trees beneath them are spread out against the backdrop of the spectacular Matterhorn mountain and the wind blows.
It was nice to order a local beer and have a drink and trekking. Atmosphere is good.
We were quite amazed by this place, a little perched in an absolutely idyllic location with a direct view of the Matterhorn. We ate very well there and the service was perfect. It is surely the best in Findeln with the Findelnhof but not necessarily the right address if you are looking for the simplicity of the true traditional. We are still in Zermatt so the place wants to be "in" and therefore the prices are equivalent to those charged in other exceptional places. To visit without fail if that's what you are looking for because the place is magical
Great views and great food. I recommend getting a beer and relaxing in the sun or snow under the matterhorn.
