Universities in Europe. Some of the old buildings still remain. Worth a short visit.

The longest bar in Europe it is. Great beers, full of students, great atmosphere.

University in a city rather a city of university
Be careful while roaming in the city. Fake police men would ask you for your travel ID and may ask to check your luggage / wallet. And while doing so will steal things.

Provides all the required (and even more) structure, services and working environment for a good research to be developed. Excellent support for international students.

One of the oldest universities of Belgium, it is still very well ranked.
The buildings are located around the whole city, the main hall is definitely something to see.
The teachers are very professional and the possibilities of studies are endless.

Great university. Amazing campus. Beautiful nature. High quality study. You have to study hard to keep up with the pace! Locals are friendly. Helpful and knows good English. Many possible after class activity, many student groups. Social and cultura activities. Many international students. A smile can take you a long way. Make some friends :)

Studying at KUL was a just nightmare, the university is not international at all as most students are flemish, and the society is extremely racist. That's all I can say about this university and Leuven.

Challenging and interesting education with a great atmosphere

If you take a trip to Flanders do not forget to go to Leuven (Leuven), a beautiful city, but worth just an hour to visit the Town Hall (Stadhuis), an absolute masterpiece of the so-called Brabant Gothic that was built between 1448 and 1559. Seen in the evening, it has a breathtaking beauty, for the endless series of statues and pinnacles that occupy almost the entire surface of the building. No less prestigious is the famous University, founded in 1425 by the Duke John of Brabant, which is the oldest Catholic university in Europe and still the most prestigious of all the Netherlands. There they studied some of the most sublime personalities in the history of culture. A truly unforgettable journey ...

Do NOT enroll at this University. They will milk you dry of your hard earned money. I was a student at this University for 4 days and changed my mind, about the KU Leuven, because I couldn't really fit in. So I went to the VUB ( Vrije Universiteit Brussel) which is much better, and more accessible than the KU Leuven tbh. They want me to pay up 250,- in less than one week, whilst I was a student at the KU Leuven for less than 5 days....they are modern scam-artists. KU Leuven sucks. Please *DO NOT ENROLL* at the KU Leuven; they do not care about their students, go to the UGent, UHasselt, or better yet; the VUB in Etterbeek.

Fantastic little Square. Very picturesque. I got to see the Bootleg Beatles there. Lots of bars and cafes and very nice architecture

Culture and international understanding are clearly visible. If you want to use an audio guide to visit the university and library, you will learn a lot of interesting things!
