It's exciting to meet wild animals. Since we rented a car, we could not move in an open state, but we were still excited by the animals that suddenly appeared in front of us. Of course you are lucky to see which animals you can meet, but you can check at the entrance which animals were where in the morning, and so on. Please be aware that if you run slowly, it will not be enough for many hours. Just after starting, I am impressed by wild zebras, but after driving for several hours, you will gradually get used to seeing hordes of zebras. Lol

Always love it here. Sadly noticing maintenance on units slipping up. Unit 12at Shimuwini camp in terrible condition. Light switch not working and the taps at basin and bath dripping. You have to close it VERY tight before dripping stops - will be impossible for older people to open and close. The taps also make horrible noises for up to 10 minutes after closing. No shelf for cutlery or pots - on floor inside cupboard. The gas plates are OLD and difficult to operate. A huge pity as we love Shimuwini and the manager Paul is extremely helpful and friendly. The other units are very well equipped and a pleasure to stay in.

Worth visiting. The place is HUGE. On the day I was there the only animals I didn't get to see that I wanted to were the big cats. It was summer, lush and green and hot, and the animals can get intimately close because there are no restrictions placed on them. Even caught a hippo yawning wide and rhinos from afar. I think if we had arrived early we could have experienced more, but we arrived after lunch and that almost certainly disadvantaged us. My advice is go as soon as they allow visitors because you will probably see more and it can take a while to get in because of security checks if you're in a large group.

We visited at the end of last year, staying at Olifants, Satara and Pretoriuskop.

We caught a fantastic sighing of a leopard, and there was no shortage of Elephants and Buffalo's, but the Lions and Rhinos seem to have vanished, we only caught glimpses of either, as a contrast to far more decent and frequent views in the previous years we have visited.

Olifants and Pretoriuskop were great, but we were appalled by Satara, with no reception, poor retail stores, and a general much dirtier look relative to the other camps.

However the experience was great in the end and we look forward to returning.

This park has wildlife and great variety birds. All the wild animals in South Africa are in the Kruger National Park including the big five. It is a beautiful place with a lot of character. If you love safaris and a adventures this place is the way to go. Experience South Africa in another way.

Okay so the Krueger is amazing. If you were going to go to any other Park definitely go here. The south of the park is very diverse with animals and Landscape. It is more open than the middle in the North. But do understand that most people know this hands it is busier. Definitely go for a an early morning hike with Rangers. Realistically you not going to walk into any Predators. But they do have rifles just in case. The main idea is to experience the bush from a slower Pace not passing by all the little things that you would typically Miss in your car. And do one night game ride. You might be on a budget but these things are definitely worth it. It is sad that farnaz have to pay an exorbitant amount more than locals. And if your South African take your South African ID because they will probably treat you as a foreigner if you don't have it with you having to pay seven times more The the local price

Be at the right place at the right time and ou will always find an abundance of animals. Be patient and the Big 5 will be spotted in one trip.

Overall a great experience, you can see the big 5 in a day or nothing for days which adds to the draw and excitement with breathtaking views - the sarroundding community are great too. I guess the only thing I'll never get used to is the heat. Hi
