Whe where 3rd in line. But all the tourists busses that come in after us where helped before us. We waited 2 hours before entering. Only one swimming pool for day visitors and you can't even eat along the swimming pool. I didn't even swim and I also had to pay. The animals was amazing.

It's full of life here. We purchased a small laminated pamphlet showing drawings of all the animals in the park in the small shop after the Gate on crocodile bridge. Looking for every bird and small mammal and not just the big five made the journey much better. Go slow and you'll see more. It's hard to get lodging here day of, and it's pricy. We left the park and wild camped on the side of a lonely road one night because everything was booked for a conference. Bring water and snacks/lunch with you and expect about 20-30 kmh average travel time. We drive even slower. I also highly recommend binoculars and a DSLR with 600mm zoom. There won't be high concentrations of animals, perhaps the most you'll see is 40 Impalas at once. (And you'll see a lot of Impalas) The sunset tour was just okay. The info was nice while it lasted, but the vehicle drive way too fast to spot anything other than big creatures. It would be an interesting introduction to the park, but not worth the money as most of the nocturnal creatures are small and would take dedicated searching to find.

My friends used to talk about Kruger national Park as one of the beautiful Park in South Africa . I had a blessing of two years working inside the Park and I saw a lot of different animals,I took a lot of photos that I can show to my friends and family.

First time visitor to the park (that i am old enough to remember) and loved every second. Saw 4 out of the big 5... dam leopards but will definitly go back to try and see them again. One thing that did irritate us is all of the game viewing vehicles. They race from point to point and have no regard for anybody else. You are there to enjoy yourself and relax... not play speed racer through the park.

Wow, what an amazing experience, there is nothing I can isolate as being better as our whole experience was great.

Only negative was the speeding on the roads - why the public need to rush whilst in the Kruger is beyond me.

Been coming to Kruger since I was an infant. Still today at the age of 22 there is nothing like home. I live in cape town and haven't been to see this beautiful piece of paradise for 5 years. It's really good to be back having seen 3 of the big 5. The gaurds at malalane gate made me feel like I was at home. Always good to see people who love what they do. Keep it up guys

Small round braai strip. Take your own wood together.
No power point, shop, restaurant.
Stands are in "field" / ground between trees.
Ablution is basic, clean and tidy and we struggled with warm water in the showers.
The office has a card machine for payments.
We enjoyed it very much in this camp.

I am a bona fide animal lover, so much so that my travel partners hate visiting new countries with me as they know my first destination will be the local safari, zoo or botanical park. The untimely rains added to my experience as within a few hours i saw a huge elephant and a lion cub taking a cover under a huge tree. Yes same tree! Nature is a great leveler. In india, i stay next to the Kolkata zoo and it feels as if i have a karmic connection with the wildlife.

Amazing national park and safari location. If in South Africa to see the big 5 and then some, definitely have this place on your itinerary and spend more than a few days here. You won t regret it.

Absolutely amazing place. Nature at its best. If you have not been already, you should check this on our bucket list. Don't be a silly tourist and step out of your vehicle or try to push animals off the road.

Such nice experience watching all the wild life in a natural habitat..... One day entry is more expensive than doing overnight inside the park. It took 5 days but we could see all the big 5. It is true that the amount of long hours you have to stay inside a car driving in the park could be quite boring if there is no animal around. But it worth every moment where you can see an animal on their daily natural routine

Yummy

The best place in the world!! Nothing is more relaxing that just chilling next to a waterhole in the late afternoon and seeing the animals come for a drink. I can't wait to get out there again!
