KAPCO was the only biggest IPP at time of inauguration with electricity production capacity of about 1400KWatt. It produces Electricity from furnace oil. It was all the basic amenities for its staff. It has residential area, community area, gym, TV Room, mini market and most importantly city school campus is also available, not only for KAPCO employees but for local community as well.

Kapco is great place to work at, it gives a lot of benefits to its permanent employees including education, medical facilities, housing and bonuses etc. but for the contract employees it does not provide all the facilities, its residential colony in neat and clean with lush green parks and green belts, the city school campus is also situated within the residential area.its a nice place.
