Food - Disappointing, not memorable and overrated for $250 for 2. The food is average and overpriced. What we ordered Chilean sea bass, coconut shrimp(on the chewy side), salmon tacos, yellow tail roll, toro roll and cocktails.
Ambiance- Great music and environment to have drinks.
Would I go back?... only for cocktails.

Providing, I made reservations on OpenTable, our wait time was a lengthier than I expected. However, once my husband and I were seated, it was all love from there. Komodo is an immaculately upscaled environment. The food was Devine and the music was great!

A scene to see and be seen. Spot celebs and athletes with their smoking hot dates. Food is good but way over priced. And small portions. You'll probably eat somewhere cheap after. Cool lounge upstairs. Conor McGregor was in the headlines for causing some dram up on there. Our waitress was the bomb. I hear the crispy duck is the shznit. I had fish. It was good. But tiny.

I went there ecause I wanted to meet a girl. We had more than a month talking on instagram (This Modern Love) and it was my only chance to meet her because she lives around Ft. Lauderadle. I could not have made a better decision. Before we crashed the dance floor, I enter but I couldn't find her. There I first noticed, while I was looking for FIFI, that Komodo was an extremely well decorated place, a mix of plants, wooden tables, lounges with high ceilings, outdoor stairs. By the time I found out that there was a mini disco, I realized that this place was heaven. The DJ put the most varied music and RANDOM I have heard in times. A mix of Latin music, Rap, Reggae, Dance, Oldies. My story with her was interesting, the place helped us to dance in a quiet way but with people around. The bar with neon lights that attracted your eyes (the prices were within the average Miami area: neither very expensive nor very cheap) but when you are in an environment like this, with the woman you like .. the price is the least you care about. I'll be back, although the next tiem, I would like to eat first and then dance.

After being at the restaurant several times i had a disappointing experience for New Year's Eve Celebration. The meat on the pre fixe menu was overcooked/dry and they served entrees before appetizers. The experience felt very commercialized versus high quality experience I was expecting. In addition, I felt rushed to complete my dinner so they can fill the table with the next guests. Very disappointed!

We had a small dinner here for my husband's birthday and we really enjoyed the place. Dressed up to walk into an elegant lobby and a fun entrance to the actual restaurant where you can savor each hanging duck from how tempting they look. We had drinks at the bar while waiting for our table, my moscow mule was phenomenal. The food and service was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the edamame, duck and the baked alaska we sang happy birthday with. Nice place, highly recommend it!

Came for dinner with 5 people. The decor is interesting, but tries a bit too hard and lacks a quality look to it, for more of an industrial look. The service was mostly good. The drinks here are a solid 5 stars, really well done. The food was 2-3 stars. The standouts were the mushroom lo mein, and the duck fried rice. The rest of the dishes were decent, but nothing to write home about. We had a steak, chicken, and some fish too.

Amazing meal and wonderful ambiance. I thought the service was very good too. It was our first time there and the server took an extra amount of time to walk through all of the highlights on the menu. Plates were quickly swapped out as well. There were plentiful vegetarian options which I appreciated. Dining mates had the Peking duck and raved about it. The mushroom sushi roll was an absolute highlight.

This is the restaurant you go to with one or a group of people dressed to impress and go all in on the roasted duck with specialty wine, beer, or cocktails, and then bust a move in the nightclub upstairs. You can see the ducks in the window waiting for you to order. I recommend Friday night to visit.

it was good but I am troubled by my waiter telling me about the service charge on the bill and that it is split with all of the Staff and that if I want to give him a tip that I would have to add it because the service charge on the bill is not his tip. #notcool i refuse to give two tips

I was referred over by a colleague to go and eat a komodo since it's a block away from my job. I came in and on Wednesday night after work hungry and the Ambiance was nice, great lighting, great music. I ordered the Dragon Roll to start the dish was nicely presented however the raw had a dead piece of avocado and I notified the food Runner. The manager Vince, came out and said the avocado was bruised and it was normal. The response was not appropriate especially if you are paying $26 for a roll of sushi. As a main course, I ordered the Wagyu skert steak(medium rare) with coconut rice. The steak arrived a and was cooked rare(not how I asked and didn't complain because of Vince's initial responce) but I ate it any way. It was a great steak very soft and flavorful. NGL the coconut rice was the bomb! The pineapple and cilantro along with the rice gave it a suculant flavor profile. The service overall from my waiter Gil was superb. He was intimately attentive to my needs, as a waiter should be. Management need to man up and own up to mistakes. In conclusion, Management is at a rookie status, the waiting staff provides white glove service, food grade is -b.

Komodo has a very good atmosphere - perhaps the best in Miami. In the upper lounge is also very interesting. Despite this, I still do not believe that its decoration or food quality corresponds to the Tao or another stylish Asian fusion restaurant, which, obviously, is intended to be imitated. The quality of the products is good, but not sensational. This is the place where you can truly explore the physical style.

Dont sit outside by a plant!! I had lunch today and I got completely eaten up by mosquitoes! If you are someone that is always a bitten by mosquitoes just don t do it. The food is OK. It s really not as bad as people have told me but it s not the best thing for the price. The service was also OK. The ambience and decor is very, very nice and classy place to go to, but if you re looking for amazing outstanding food, it just didn t do that for me.

Ordered the Wagyu beef dumplings, Peking duck, mushroom lo mein and the green tea tres leche. Everything was perfect, waiters changed our plates multiple times with fresh ones and new utensils, water glass was never empty and our server was knowledgeable about all the food items on the menu, great place, 18% tip is included and the valet is 15 dollars. DO make a reservation!

1. Terrible Service!

1. Terrible Service!
2. Food was less than average for all the hype.
3. Unacceptably cold food....and to top it off Hot drinks( what does ice cost? David Grutman??? pleaseee.... A bad bar equals a terrible experience.
Overall a 1 is all I can do because of the dessert.
NEVER again! The typical Miami hype, when you peel the layers you find out the crap it truly is. Oh! well...
