This place is great to take the family to. We all love watching are food being made in front of us and the tast is really good. When you walk right inside they have birthday pictures of other guests that came to celebrate. The food is a lot of food. They have steak, chicken and shimp as the meat with fried rice and steamed rice. The soup is a broth and really good. If you do go share a plate or you will over eat.

"Blah". I wasn't terribly impressed by the food. Nothing stood out - certainly was not memorable in any way, and I regret my family chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday.

Prices are average, as was the service.

I'd definitely not return. You can find better (and less expensive) elsewhere for sure.

First off...Wow!!! This place was amazing. I went there this past saturday for dinner with my family for my aunt's 50th birthday. Everything was fanatastic. The food was incredibly delicious. The sauces were great. The service was awesome and our chef Patrick was hilarious and his tricks were very very cool. My aunt after the dinner said it was definitely the greatest dinner she's ever had. The resturant even gave her a $20 gift certificate too for her birthday so she'd be able to come back again. I'm definitely going to want to go back here again. The prices are about average but definitely worth it for sure. Koki's definitely made my aunt's birthday a very happy one.

The food is good. The chef puts on a lesser show than some places, but he knew our group was a jaded one. We had seen the shows before. We were here for lunch. Prices were fair. Portions were big enough without being huge. It was quiet for lunch.

My little family loves Kokis! We went every Friday for about 5 weeks! Very entertaining for the kids as the Chefs always give a great show and it's food that my picky eaters actually do eat! I had to give it a 4, as our last visit was the opposite, we got an older Chef who just seemed in a bad mood, not once did he smile. Ordered Teriyaki Chicken and he totally forgot to add it, so he just gave us a side of it. He skipped, the tossing of the rice which is the most fun part, I noticed the other family in table was upset as well. After us he went to the table next to us and was smiling and was having a good time. We were dissapointed. So sad for that experience as it's not our Friday dinner place anymore.

Koki's is by far the best Teppanyaki restaurant in Orange County. Also one of the few places you can get in w/o a reservation. The workers here are fun and professional, and everyone comes in to have a great time. Treat yourself to the Chateaubriand.

My family have been coming here for years now, and we love it. The staff is very friendly and fun. The food is great, and a much better value than most of the other teppan places around. If possible, request Sly or Simon, they are very entertaining and interactive.

First time there for my Bday..I loved the food, I loved the entertainment and it was well worth the $ spent; although It looks like it gets full fast. My fam and I arrived as soon as it opened, so I recommend you do if you do not want to wait too long. Sometimes you have to share your table which for me it was awkward, but its understandable. Overall, it was great and definitely coming back!

Severely disappointed with Koki's...they completely ruined our Father's Day celebration tonight. My husband and I have been going to Koki's for over 7 years. The managers & cooks recognize us because we have been customers for so long. When we were seated tonight the four of us asked to sit on the corner of the table to accommodate for my 3 month old daughter since no one was sitting there. We were denied because they said there was a large group coming in later. If we would have been served in a timely manner it wouldn't have been an issue and we would have been finished by the time the large party arrived. A HOUR into our dinner the cook still hadn't come out. When he finally did come to cook our dinner there was no performance. He was rushing to cook our meals so he could move onto the next table. He put all the veggies, meats, seafood and fried rice on the grill at once...in the 7+ years we've been going there they have NEVER cooked all the food at once (nor have they at any other teppan restaurant). It was always an experience and a show, but not tonight. But it gets better...three if us ordered steamed rice and when it came out it wasn't fully cooked. The white rice was gritty and hard. The managers asked if we wanted fried rice instead because the whole batch of white rice was bad. We said ok, but it never came out. We are Asian and need rice with our meal. I waited for the fried rice to come out to eat with my meal and since it never came out my food was cold. The manager came to apologize for the wait, the cook rushing & lack of show, & the rice and said that they would do something for us since he knows we are "regulars". They offered us a measly 10% off (our bill was about $120) and 10% off the next time we come with a free appetizer (we never order appetizers). They weren't going to offer anything to the other couple that was sitting with us until they complained (I don't know if they got a discount or not). So for our 2 hour, incomplete, no show Father's Day dinner we got $12 off our bill. Not even half of one of the four combination dinners we ordered. I spoke to the manager again on my way out and they made it seem like they were doing us a favor giving us the 10%. I'm extremely disappointed. If this is how they treat their "regulars," I'd hate to see how to new customers are treated. Koki's WAS my husband's favorite place, but it doesn't look like we will be going back.

Really great place, the food was really good and the performance the chef gave was really fun and interesting. Only thing I can really complain about is the prices, but its understandable for what food they serve.

This place is one of my favorites. I love the food and you get so much of it for the price. Great deal for a great meal, must try it at least once at least to compare it to the higher priced option of Benihanas.

This place is the one I always prefer. I visit many restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very warm and the cooking they cook is so yummy. I never miss an opportunity to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Saw a chef that I haven't seen in over 10 years, Jerry used to work at Karutas and it was great to catch up with him. He has improved on his skills and the show was SPECTACULAR!!!! So if you are in the area, catch the show and a great meal.
