The food here is delicious and it is fun to watch the chef do tricks while cooking the food, it is great for special days and for family groups.
Friendly staff. Fun atmosphere. Food prepared right in front of you with a little cooking show.
This place is great to take the family to. We all love watching are food being made in front of us and the tast is really good. When you walk right inside they have birthday pictures of other guests that came to celebrate. The food is a lot of food. They have steak, chicken and shimp as the meat with fried rice and steamed rice. The soup is a broth and really good. If you do go share a plate or you will over eat.
This place is our kids-birthday-go-to. Always a fun experience.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Did I mention great food?!
Best place to eat and entertainment is hands down! Well worth the drive.
Loved it. Definitely make reservations. I'm a little skeptical about places like this but I definitely enjoyed the food.. Good Vibes great atmosphere. I would definitely come back again
Too noisy. Food is very Chinese. Too Expensive. Hibachi Grill in Anaheim Hills is much better.
The chef put on a good show, food was good and priced are reasonable. Fun interactive dinner!
The food and service was good. This is a slightly less expensive version of Benihana.
Always a great experience. We have been going there for family celebrations for years. Never disappointed....
This is a great resturaunt with a great staff and amazing display of culinary excellence.
It's a classic. Great food, great service, and a fun show!!!
Very good! Nice value, in terms of Teppanyaki Japanese food. Our chef was very good!
The food was great and the chefs are amazing, only reason I'm giving four stars is because the place is small and if you are waiting to be seated it would be better to sit outside.
Excellent food and service. Great place for a family get together.
"Blah". I wasn't terribly impressed by the food. Nothing stood out - certainly was not memorable in any way, and I regret my family chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday.
Prices are average, as was the service.
I'd definitely not return. You can find better (and less expensive) elsewhere for sure.
Great service and good food. Definitely one of the better teppanyaki-style Japanese restaurants. We enjoyed and will come back for sure.
Food was very good, a tad pricier than expected after add ons or up charges bug great experience
So good if u have kids it will be a amazing experience
Delicious. 2nd time here and was impressed by food and service both times.
We enjoyed our dinner here. The chef was entertaining and the food delicious.
First off...Wow!!! This place was amazing. I went there this past saturday for dinner with my family for my aunt's 50th birthday. Everything was fanatastic. The food was incredibly delicious. The sauces were great. The service was awesome and our chef Patrick was hilarious and his tricks were very very cool. My aunt after the dinner said it was definitely the greatest dinner she's ever had. The resturant even gave her a $20 gift certificate too for her birthday so she'd be able to come back again. I'm definitely going to want to go back here again. The prices are about average but definitely worth it for sure. Koki's definitely made my aunt's birthday a very happy one.
Love this place. Always great food and cocktails. Not overly priced.
Always the best but this visit was awesome! Lauren is stellar probably best waitress ever.
Excellent place, great service, food is delicious, the Chef was very cool. Location is clean and nicely decorated. Favorite place for Tepan.
Had a wonderful time here. Chef was a little quiet, but still kept us entertained throughout. Luckily the people we were seated with were fun, so it was a good evening!
Went there for dinner before Father and daughter dance, great service and great portions totally recommend
The food is good. The chef puts on a lesser show than some places, but he knew our group was a jaded one. We had seen the shows before. We were here for lunch. Prices were fair. Portions were big enough without being huge. It was quiet for lunch.
Very good food and service. Pretty much like Benihana's.
My little family loves Kokis! We went every Friday for about 5 weeks! Very entertaining for the kids as the Chefs always give a great show and it's food that my picky eaters actually do eat! I had to give it a 4, as our last visit was the opposite, we got an older Chef who just seemed in a bad mood, not once did he smile. Ordered Teriyaki Chicken and he totally forgot to add it, so he just gave us a side of it. He skipped, the tossing of the rice which is the most fun part, I noticed the other family in table was upset as well. After us he went to the table next to us and was smiling and was having a good time. We were dissapointed. So sad for that experience as it's not our Friday dinner place anymore.
Food was tasty but the cook wasn't entertaining us didn't flip the knives or food in the air very as a matter of fact asked for water and it never came so I had to get my own
The best place to eat in Orange County and if you can't finish your food the leftovers taste great as well.
Great food, reasonable prices and entertaining chefs!
Service was good, food was good (salty, be advised!), our chef delivered the silly, knife-defying entertainment you expect at teppanyaki restaurant!
Koki's is by far the best Teppanyaki restaurant in Orange County. Also one of the few places you can get in w/o a reservation. The workers here are fun and professional, and everyone comes in to have a great time. Treat yourself to the Chateaubriand.
Was looking forward to coming to a place where they do cook in front of you with all the little tricks they do I was very happy that we came the kids had a lot of fun are cook made it special with everybody in the group everybody was included the food nothing special about it just average food wasn't great it wasn't delicious but eatable not saying that it's bad but I've had better better food.
Wonderfully tasteful food made with a smile on everyone's faces.
My family have been coming here for years now, and we love it. The staff is very friendly and fun. The food is great, and a much better value than most of the other teppan places around. If possible, request Sly or Simon, they are very entertaining and interactive.
Always delicious! Been eating there for 20 years. Really tasty shrimp!
Simply the best Teppanyaki Grille in orange county.
Great place to bring the family. We love this place. Far less expensive than Benihana. Its been our go to teppan place since our favorite in Irvine closed down about 4 years ago.
First time there for my Bday..I loved the food, I loved the entertainment and it was well worth the $ spent; although It looks like it gets full fast. My fam and I arrived as soon as it opened, so I recommend you do if you do not want to wait too long. Sometimes you have to share your table which for me it was awkward, but its understandable. Overall, it was great and definitely coming back!
Severely disappointed with Koki's...they completely ruined our Father's Day celebration tonight. My husband and I have been going to Koki's for over 7 years. The managers & cooks recognize us because we have been customers for so long. When we were seated tonight the four of us asked to sit on the corner of the table to accommodate for my 3 month old daughter since no one was sitting there. We were denied because they said there was a large group coming in later. If we would have been served in a timely manner it wouldn't have been an issue and we would have been finished by the time the large party arrived. A HOUR into our dinner the cook still hadn't come out. When he finally did come to cook our dinner there was no performance. He was rushing to cook our meals so he could move onto the next table. He put all the veggies, meats, seafood and fried rice on the grill at once...in the 7+ years we've been going there they have NEVER cooked all the food at once (nor have they at any other teppan restaurant). It was always an experience and a show, but not tonight. But it gets better...three if us ordered steamed rice and when it came out it wasn't fully cooked. The white rice was gritty and hard. The managers asked if we wanted fried rice instead because the whole batch of white rice was bad. We said ok, but it never came out. We are Asian and need rice with our meal. I waited for the fried rice to come out to eat with my meal and since it never came out my food was cold. The manager came to apologize for the wait, the cook rushing & lack of show, & the rice and said that they would do something for us since he knows we are "regulars". They offered us a measly 10% off (our bill was about $120) and 10% off the next time we come with a free appetizer (we never order appetizers). They weren't going to offer anything to the other couple that was sitting with us until they complained (I don't know if they got a discount or not). So for our 2 hour, incomplete, no show Father's Day dinner we got $12 off our bill. Not even half of one of the four combination dinners we ordered. I spoke to the manager again on my way out and they made it seem like they were doing us a favor giving us the 10%. I'm extremely disappointed. If this is how they treat their "regulars," I'd hate to see how to new customers are treated. Koki's WAS my husband's favorite place, but it doesn't look like we will be going back.
A very romantic date night.Grear good. Very attentive service.
Love this place it's always good and fun and and the food is outstanding
Really great place, the food was really good and the performance the chef gave was really fun and interesting. Only thing I can really complain about is the prices, but its understandable for what food they serve.
Great food, great service, great fun and reasonable prices. Good crowd and lots of energy.
Omg the best! Make reservations. Chefs are friendly and know how to cook!
Great food, fun environment and chefs that don't seem like they are doing the same routine again and again.
foods delicious and if you get Mario as your chef he is the man I request him every time he's a lot of fun and it makes your food as best as possible to your liking
Great food and wonderful service! Great place to celebrate a birthday.
The blonde bar tender didn't wash her hands in the bathroom so I don't suggest ordering drinks but the food was great.
This place is one of my favorites. I love the food and you get so much of it for the price. Great deal for a great meal, must try it at least once at least to compare it to the higher priced option of Benihanas.
amazing food, Mario San! was our cook he was so funny! first time at one of these where they cook in front of you, food came out beyond amazing I ordered a medium well steak and he said to try medium rare I LOVED IT so tender and juicy! definitely coming back soon
This place is the one I always prefer. I visit many restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very warm and the cooking they cook is so yummy. I never miss an opportunity to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.
Really good food. And lots of it. We took home half of food served.
Great show and fun atmosphere. Food is about what you'd expect. Good and flavorful. Our service was excellent. Would return.
great service, food is a little bland and void of flavor it all taste the same.
Good, just another tepanjaky place! Nothing special about it
Took my hubby here for his birthday. Loved it. Great service, atmosphere, food delicious enough for left overs. Had a great time. The place to go
Saw a chef that I haven't seen in over 10 years, Jerry used to work at Karutas and it was great to catch up with him. He has improved on his skills and the show was SPECTACULAR!!!! So if you are in the area, catch the show and a great meal.
