I love this amusement park its great for the family and great prices
My family and I go here every year! So much fun and affordable. Best part, I can bring my dogs!
Family friendly, but something for everyone. Fairly large, loads of picnic space
Best place for a family day trip. Free to enter and tickets for rides are affordable. They have shade trees and benches throughout. Many food vendors.
Reminds me of home no pay parking. Just a great amusement park nestled in the mountains
Best place ever, I've been going for years and love it.
We love this place for the family. We go every year and we always have a blast!
Love this place. Great ambiance and great rides. Can easily spend whole weekend here, but can also just drop in for an evening.
Wohoo is great me and my family love it!! Great for the whole family
Just about perfect for a family with kids! Ignore the reviews about it being gross or outdated. It's a great park and pool (we visited both). The food is expensive, true (Cost me around $35 to feed 5). But it's tasty and you have MANY choices. I would HIGHLY recommend this park to any family. If you can go on a weekday, take advantage of the ride all day passes. Def worth the $!
Great food free entertainment an kids an adults will leave with smiles
Awesome park. Family friendly park
I rarely give 5 star. So much nicer and cheaper than Hershey. Free parking. Only pay to ride. Food delicious and cheap. You can bring in food and even grill. Rides are great.
Cozy little theme park tucked away in poconos. It may have a small footprint but there's more than you can get to in a single day. Some big roller coasters and some little fun rides, some relaxing seats and some water slides. There's a little something for everyone, and it never feels too big or too crowded.
An absolutely great park, free to park, free to enter, cheap to ride, the swimming pool and water slides were cheap as well. You even get a free locker when you go to the pool. I can't wait to go back!
Cheap
family fun
Best theme park with pay for each ride or pay one price as per customer's need
We enjoy taking the kids and they always have fun the only thing is they dont always have everything open but other then that it's a great park to take the kids for the day!! We go every year!!
Wish Totem Treats was open all season, but other than that no complaints
Love this park loads of fun and lots to do with the kids
I went there, it was very awesome, the experience was fascinating. It was family oriented, clean, and the staff was very helpful, funny, energetic, and very professional. Thank you very much. I definitely will come back
Took grandkids for the afternoon. Was pretty busy 1 hour wait time for new rollercoaster. Prices were inexpensive we actually came home with tickets. I read you can use tickets for food, we tried but they said they were ride tickets only? Perhaps knoebles will allow that in future. Still have like $25 in tickets.
My whole family loves this place. It's free to get in and you pay for the rides. Most of the rides are for kids, but there are some rollercoasters. The food is reasonably priced too, and lots of shade
Clean bathrooms, wonderful family setting. My daughters favorite place to go with friends. Definitely worth the drive. Takes more than a day to enjoy all that it has to offer. Great food throughout the park.
We have more fun at this small, family run park than we do at bigger, better known parks. Let's start with the pros: free parking, choice of paying for an all day pass or payer per ride, generally short lines, good & reasonably priced food, rides that appeal to all ages. The cons: occasional inaccurate information about which rides are included with the all day bracelet.
The ratio or good to bad seems pretty clear!
Knoebels is a wonderful place for families, both young and old. The rides are fantastic, food is reasonably priced, and the pool is great! My daughter said it was the best day ever.
You won't find a better family amusement park ANYWHERE! Treat yourself to great rides (best bumper cars ever, the Phoenix (the most awesome wooden roller coaster)), great food, great location with lots of shade, with everything very reasonably priced. Take the family, you won't regret it.
This place took me back to the good years of my life... I will be making memories with my grandchildren here
An old fashion amusement park with free admission and free parking. The rides are reasonably priced and even the food is reasonably priced. You never feel that you are being gouged and everyone in the family can have fun here.
It was a hot day I have MS, not Knoebels fault. Great family park.
Fun place and inexpensive if looking for old time amusement park love this place!!!
First time there wasnt best cause of covid restrictions...... Plan to go again once this is over
I've been going to knoebels since I can remember and now I get to take my daughter there for her whole childhood too
Great Place For Young Couples With Children & Grand Parents With Grand kids. Fantastic Food Too!
Park was wonderful. Clear blue skies and all of the rides were open. With exception to those under construction and the pool area (too cold). Food was Awesome and we'll be back a few more days this year!
I'm so glad we live close to Knoebels Amusement Park. The prices are amazing. I love that schools are now selling books of tickets as a fundraiser. Free parking, free entrance, FUN, FOOD AND FANTASY for everyone! I have grown up going to Knoebels every summer!
Great park, very affordable, great rides and food, friendly staff, nice crowd. They have a little bit of everything. Not chaotic like other parks, and just as cool.
Good, old-fashioned fun. You really get a sense of what amusement parks were like 40 years ago. Parking is free. Admission is free. The kiddie rides cost $.50 or maybe $1.00. The food isn t outstanding, but it is reasonably priced. (Get the ice cream at the Old Ice Cream Shop - huge dishes of real ice cream for not much money). Many of the rides date back to the 40s and 50s. The people that run the rides are retirees and seem to enjoy what they do (even in the heat). There are some bigger rides that cost $2 or $3. Still - our family of six spent the day at the park for less than a hundred bucks. And the grandparents that came with us didn t have to pay to watch the grandkids have fun. They would sit in the shade and enjoy watching the kids do the Looper or Whipper. Then we would stroll to the next ride. I did the roller coasters with my thrill-seeker son. Knoebels is no Six Flags, but it s not trying to be. It is a quaint, family-friendly destination that has something for just about everyone in the family.
Lots of rides for our 3-year old. Plenty of shaded areas. Free parking. Reasonable concession prices.
Two legendary wooden roller coasters -- The Phoenix and Twister. Free admission and free parking makes it practical to take a drive here to just go on a ride or two. Lots of tree cover to keep you cool on a hot day. Unlike most parks, food is reasonably priced, and you can bring your own picnic food if you'd rather. Despite lots of television coverage and notariety among coaster enthusiasts, the crowds are always manageable and the lines short.
My only complaint is that their wooden toboggan roller coaster, "Flying Turns" is long overdue. Year after year I return to find it still not open, with no explanation or timeline. When will I finally be able to ride this thing?
It was so much fun and is very family friendly. If you go on a weekend make sure you go early and get in the lines you really want to ride first because at about lunch time the lines get really long and have a wait time.
Always a great place to visit free parking free admission and the food is good
I guess if you don't know any better and haven't been to many other places, then you would consider this place awesome, but that is sadly not the case. It's a smaller park with only a handful of larger rides, and it's mostly for smaller kids. The wooden roller coaster was awesome, though. But the worst part is that the park looks like it has seen better days, and it's very frumpy throughout. And it's not easy to get to either. Too many back roads once you leave the interstate. Food is terrible and it felt like a big junky carnival rather than an amusement park. Glad that everything was free for a company event and it didn't cost my anything for a very disappointing experience.
The greatest place on planet earth, seriously I want to retire here. As far as I know it's America's only free amusement park. Super clean, super friendly and super fun. The place has everything; food, games, rides, a pool, music, arcades, picnic areas, shuttles to and from the lot. Anything you could possibly want from a fun time park you will find at knoebels. A must visit for family fun, you'll be aching to go back. I promise!
Family friendly and reasonably priced, wide variety of rides!
My family and I Had a great time at the amusement park! But the best part was when we went camping at the campgrounds, it was amazing. Everything from electric outlets being available to shuttles being available to take you from your camping site back towards the amusement park. So convenient. Loved it!
Absolutely wonderful amusement park. Wonderful that I only have to pay for the specific rides that I want to enjoy rather than having to pay a general admission fee for the entire park (including kiddie rides that I can't go on). Great place to bring the family.
As always the grandchildren had a ball. The big kids had fun too. It's great living two miles away from the park. The downside is the traffic. It makes me feel that I'm on the FDR Drive during rush hour.
Cabins can be hot for camping but generally you know what your in for. Even though camping Is not my thing, Knoebels is the place we go thru all the generations of our lives. Often Knoebels is like a slice of life that has little changed over time but it's perfect in its own way.
The wooden roller coasters here are really wild and neat. One is trackless - the only one in the world according to the sign. Old school rides and unique food options galore. Free parking and friendly employees. I wish they would offer a wristband option on the weekend. The ticket system was a bit much if you ride a lot of rides. Also there seemed to be no designated smoking area but tons of smokers.
Great that there still exists a pay-as-you-ride park.
I've been to a lot of amusement parks and this is the best place to take the whole family and enjoy your entire day. From open to close. Family-owned, family run goes pretty far with me. I've been there Lots of times and I've enjoyed every time I've been there.
We love it here. Very affordable and alot of fun especially for the kids.
Knoebels is great I dont care how old or young you are!
Great is could be better if people don't smoke in the park
Admission is free. You pay for what you ride. Cesari's Pizza is the best food in the whole park. Atmosphere at the amusement park is very unique it is nestled in the woods and has such a great mix of forests and rides.
It is amazing to have family time... I absolutely recommend this place, the kids ha
I always enjoy my visits. There is plenty to do. We chose to camp this year and it made the experience even better.
Good old fashioned amusement park, good food, relaxing stay
This is an awesome theme park for kids. There's no parking fee and no park entrance fee. You can buy a pass to ride all day, or you can buy tickets to use for individual rides. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is family friendly. The campground is also excellent, and the store there also had very reasonable prices.
The best amusement park in NEPA great place for families!
Love the pay as you go feature for those in the group who aren't there for the rides but can enjoy the fun too! Was there for 8 hours with the kids, spent $4 on 2 rides that I wanted to ride.. Can't beat that!!!
No Doots / Goombahs. That's reason enough, but it's also a wholesome family place that has plenty to do for any age. Our favorite Amusement Park - better than Disney (due to reason #1 above).
I grew up here worked here and made many friends and memories great 4 all ages
We have a family reunion here every year and it's great for all ages and all walks of life! There's something for everyone!
We love Knoebles, and have been coming there for years. But our experience today was underwhelming, to say the least. We went knowing the mask rules and limited rides selection. What was nice is hardly anyone was there. Getting on and off rides was quick and easy. The food vendors were struggling today. We went to the Starbucks stand. Asked for a strawberry blended drink. The girl was drinking one and said they couldn't make it. Then we went to the Alamo to have dinner. The food was expensive, we asked what was in the salad and they said lettuce and chicken. For 10.00?! Not sure of this is temporary due to covid or normal. Did have a wrap, and it was ok, hubs got fish and chips and was literally fish and kettle chips, not potatoes wedges. Then we had our masks on, but due to a medical condition and 90 degree heat mine was under my chin if we weren't around people. I even bought three new cloth masks when we got there for 7$each. Two separate attendants gave us a hard time. I explained I have a medical condition, explained what it was, and also that due to HIPAA it's really none of her business. Other vendors were nicer and more understanding, like the fudge shop. They were wonderful, welcomed my family in out of the heat so we could cool off for a few minutes in ac. They were very kind to our kids as well. I hope this is all just because of covid, and that later in the season it's better, because for the first time in 13 years I dont want to go back.
Was always my favorite place to go. Rather go there than Hershey.
great time had by all. will be back. fun and cheap.
Love this place. Perfect amusement park for families.
We go here at least once a year with our kids. It's great not having to pay an entrance fee and especially great that you can pack your own food and have a picnic in one of the many pavilions provided. There's a creek to fish at as well. It's just a great family oriented amusement park with great rides (especially the Phoenix, train and the Haunted Mansion), great games and food, all at reasonable prices.
fun things to do and eat except another group took our reserved spot - got another.
Free entrance and free parking, you only pay for the rides you use, and they are very reasonably priced. Lots of variety in food choices. There's an ice cream place that gives you an incredible amount of ice cream for a very, very reasonable price. It's a very family-friendly Park!
Awesome Family friendly amusement park. Free admission.
