Good:

Good:
Great prices, family friendly, wide variety of entertainment.
Bad:
No extreme rides, small-ish park.
TLDR:
Great place for family fun on a budget.

There's a lot to cover here so I'll break it down into categories:

Rides:
Good variety of rides for all ages thrill levels except for those seeking the crazy extreme. I highly recommend impulse, one of the newer metal coasters, similar to Fahrenheit at Hersheypark, but not as high or as fast. Rides are cheap to buy individual rides. $2-$3 per ticket with discounts for buying books of tickets, but the all day passes are the true value.

Entertainment:
Free shows and concerts throughout the day and a variety of games/activities.

Food:
Cesaris Pizza is to good to be true. Not only is it fantastic pizza, the prices are unbeatable. $18 for a large specialty pizza that's big enough to feed my family of 5 and still have leftovers!
There are several other vendors as well selling everything you'd expect and some you wouldn't; try the gator bites!

Pool:
Great cheap way to spend a hot day. At just $7 for a pass (slides extra) the pool is another family friendly option. There are 2 slides that on a less busy weekday are completely worth the extra $7.50 for an unlimited pass.

Best amusement park ever. Only place that doesn't charge you admission, parking, offers you picknic tables and your alowed to bring you own food. They offer many local choices for food and even that is well priced for an amusement park. Best place for children for they have many rides for them and even little ones. They offer a unlimited wrist band during the week and pay per ride on weekends.

Love this family pet friendly park..
For 10 + years our family of 12 would show up with a huge picnic basket and use the park's grill and head out to rides while someone started grilling up the food and setting up the picnic tables
Loved taking the dogs for walks around the park and picking up ice cream and kettle corn to take home

Took my daughter tonight and as always, we had a good time. Some of the employees there are just miserable.. shouldn't be working at an amusement park and running games or rides if you're that type of person. They should also be told to stay off their phones and pay attention to the rides and the people on them. Food was not good, we got soft pretzels that were cold, hard n tasted stale. The fish fry was awful. All you can eat for $10...no thanks. Funnel cakes we're good. Will continue to go every year though...positives still out weigh the negatives.

An amusement park where it's free park your car and you can buy individual tickets...not an all day pass to ride the Phoenix roller-coaster. It's like stepping back in time. Dogs are welcome too.

Great Day out! Free parking and paying for only rides you get on is Awesome.
Phoenix food stand has good burgers.
I wouldn't get the hand stamps, better to just use tickets and pay per ride.

Always a great time at Knoebles. I love that you can walk around without actually paying for anything. I did notice a price increase on wrist bands this year, but the fact that everything else is still really reasonably priced if not just plain cheap it really does make up for it. I just got home from a family vacation and spent way less then when we go anywhere else. I will be booking next years trip VERY soon.

Love the free admission, love the bargain nights they have every year! Love the food! Love that it is easy to afford since you can pay per ride, or one price to ride all day! It is hands down on of our favorite summer spots!

My husbands job did a work picnic there , wanna come back in the summer next time so we can try the water park ( it was closed). Also next time we're camping there though cause there just isnt enough time to hit everything. Had an amazing day there ....lol ( p.s. i did fail to mention we did eat at one of the park restaurant and the food was the worst sorry . Service was so slow and it barely had anyone in it. The server kept messing up thinks and forgot my stepsons meal. Just over all bad. Should have had the pizza it was right in that area and smelled so good.)

Great park for families. No admission charge, only pay to ride. You can just buy tickets or you can purchase a "ride all day" arm band. This can save a family a lot of money if any of the family members do not want to ride, but want to spend the day with the family. There are food and drink vendors throughout the park. Food is very good and reasonably priced. The French fries are great!!!! There is plenty of shade and lots of benches for resting. There are picnic pavilions for larger groups. The pool is also very nice: large area with small slides in the pool, platform diving, fountain, and larger water slides (additional fee). Even if you use the pool for an hour or two it is worth it on a hot day! I have visited this park since I was a kid. There is something for everyone here! I'm so glad they have maintained their "mom and pop" park feel, while bringing in newer "commercial park" attractions! Thank you Knoebels for good family fun!!!

This was our first family vacation here and we couldn't have loved it more! The cabins we stayed in were cozy and safe. The location between the cabins and the actual Park couldn't have been easier. The park was enough to entertain our kids, 6 and 10, as well as ourselves, 48 and 49. There's definitely something there for everybody! Local restaurants we're easy to get to

Nice, clean family fun at a great price. You don't have to rush around trying to cram in as many rides as possible since it is pay-as-you-go. The food is good and the customer service is usually top notch.

A lot of great rides. Most are for kids but there are enough bigger rides to keep adults happy. Tons of food at good prices. Free to park and get in!! You can buy tickets for the rides or get an all you can ride pass.

I've been to Knoebel's quite a few times over the years. Then I moved from Pa. to Fl., and my next door neighbors, who were in management there would give us free passes to Disney. So I went there quite a few times. Then we all moved out west, so we got passes for Disney Land a few times. In between, I also paid an awful lot of money for our own family passes. Don't get me wrong, it was ok at Disney....BUT, when I'd get back up to PA, and we'd make the trip with grandkids, or my now grown kids, it is SO much more pleasant. In some ways, its like you cant quite put your finger on any one thing. It is everything about the park. The history, the player organs, carousel, good food, free for older folks to walk around and enjoy watching their youngsters and grand kids have fun. The train ride through the woods. The sky ride, the setting in the gorgeous mountains of PA. But more importantly, everyone is having a good time. as you walk through Disney, and see all the stressed out people, because they spent many hundreds of dollars, and are feeling the disappointment of hour+ lines, getting on maybe 4 or 5 rides through a day of waiting in lines, all the crying and up tight parents. Vs in Knoebels, I'm as relaxed as I can be, there's always a place to sit with my wife, I can do as much as I want or as little as I want. Other than adding some things here and there, I hope they never lose sight of what makes Knoebels such a great destination. Thank You for all the nice memories.

Brought my 2 year old niece and she loves it, not too long of a wait for rides of you get there around 11. Loved the cool automatic music machines, especially the one playing The Beatles and other 80s hits!

A rare amusement park that doesn't try to milk families for every dime. Admission is free. The kiddos can get wristbands, parents can get tickets (or not) for individual rides. Picnicking is encouraged, and it's perfectly safe and ok to leave coolers by the picnic tables just outside the park. Dogs are allowed. There are rides for every age group, send the water rides are perfect for a hot summer day.

Fantastic park. I've been coming here for decades. It's still my favorite park. Everything is clean and well kept. The staff are friendly and helpful. A true family oriented environment. My 83 year old grandmother and my 2 year old son have no issues getting around the park

Free parking, free entrance and pay as you ride. Live entertainment all over. Picnic areas shaded by trees(and so is most the park area) to bring your own food, not to mention they offer great food as well..

I have been going to Knoebels since 2003. Since 2008 I have been renting cottages. I had my wedding there in 2013. Guest "services" is terrible. Specifically Jeannie Reedy. We had all 6 of our cottages for 2 different dates May, Oct. cancelled without warning. These cottages were reserved a year in advance with a $600 deposit made. When I called I was told all 6 were re-rented.She knows that we travel with a special needs group and these cottages make it very convenient and accessible. She told me there was nothing she could do. I asked why I wasn't given a call, because I would have settled up immediately. Im in that office 6 times a year and they know me by name. She deferred to customer service and hung up on me mid sentence. Customer service rep Eric was zero help. Im sure he was in the office with Jeannie at the time of the call. He stated that I was upset because I was not getting my way... REALLY??NO compassion or empathy. For a reservation system that is super informal.i.e no emails or online reservations, no contract to sign, they pencil your name in book . It seems drastic to cancel without a courtesy call. Any reasonable person would expect that ,especially a customer who has brought more than 300 new people to that park in the past 15 years. (not including 225 wedding guests, many who were 1st time knoebels attendees. The familiarity and family run atmosphere made this appealing to me. I found out that does not matter. Your a number.

I thought maybe management didn't know. Also I was told by Jeannie that she answers directly to the KNoebels family.I sent two certified letters to explain our issue. One to Dick Knoebels(whom i have had several conversations with over the last 15 years) and one to Susan in the PR dept. Several weeks later I received a letter that said the issue was resolved in their eyes and that I was notified on numerous occasions of the policy change(untrue). In The time it took Jeannie to address two envelopes, draft two letters, erase my name in 6 spots in the reservation book and call people to fill the six cottages, a 2 minute call would have kept a VERY loyal customer happy. The letter was NOT signed by an individual. It said The KnoebelsAmusement resort. Shame on them if they allow Jeannie to be the voice of knoebels.Im just one person but my company provides services to over 500 families and more that a dozen provider agencies. They all will know that we will not be returning to KNoebels and why. Im very shocked at the treatment and disappointed that I cannot return because I will not give them another dime.
