Usually love Knoebels, but not this time. The temperature were in the 80's and masks were fully required. Staff was going around making sure the mask were tight and covering your nose 100% of the time. I purchased a face shield but these were not allowed on any of the rides. Also many of the of the rides were shut down every 2 cycles for 30+ minutes of cleaning. I will not return until the mask thing is over.

A really nice place to visit. They have numerous rides for small children and adults alike. They have free parking and shuttle rides to the park if you end up parking really far from the park. If you're traveling from the North Summer of 2019 expect a detour in Danville. The bridge across the river is out and this has caused a detour. On our way down this summer the detour backed traffic up for miles. On the way back you can drive across the bridge using a short detour. This has nothing to do with the park but be prepared.
Free parking, free admission, plenty of pavillions 4 a picnic , u can bring ur own food to save $ or buy food there 4 convenience & they have pretty good food 2 & at reasonable prices. I think its best to get the arm bands but u can buy tickets to ride the rides if u only want to ride a few, but definitely get arm bands 4 the kids!!! U can camp there too at a reasonable rate, they have a pool to cool off on hot days, an awesome place to go at Halloween, best family amusement park by far 4 a reasonable price unlike the bigger parks that u would have to spend a fortune to take ur family to. We go every year once or twice & we r a paycheck to paycheck family so thanks to Knobels its still possible to go & have an awesome time & give the whole family a special treat. Theres something 4 everyone at every age & theres plenty of shade too so u wont just bake in the sun. Its a beautiful place & we just love it!!!
I have always loved this park until today. A very bad experience when purchasing a photo from the Twister ride. I am 8 months pregnant and asked my kids to purchase a photo from the ride. They purchased a regular picture instead of the magnet that I get every year for the same price. We immediately went back and they were not very helpful. They said that they couldn't do anything about it, that I would have to purchase another one. I asked for a manager and they said they didn't know who to call. Finally after standing there for almost an hour someone came over and said sorry we can't help you unless you purchase another one. Very disappointed with the service here. Anything to make more money.
Have been coming here since I was a little kid and now I bring my kids here. Knoebel's gets better and better every year. Hands down the best, most family friendly amusement park I've ever been to. Hope it never loses its charm and character!
We love Knoebels. Been going for years. The food is excellent and great prices. Rides are kept up and clean. Staff is generally friendly and polite. Rest rooms are clean and stocked. It gets crazy busy so go early to park close. Free parking and entrance. Waterpark is great and kids zones are good lots of places to sit down in the shade.
Just a lot of fun. Good eats & fun rides. Did not like the observation ride. Up & down pause up and down. Finished. I'll give it a what's the point? Rating.
I love this quiet little amusement park. It is affordable, well maintained, and feels like it is in the middle of nowhere. I love that it is surrounded by trees! It just feels so unique compared to other amusement parks I've been to.
The food and souvenirs/gifts are sold at a reasonable price. I LOVE their kettle corn! The wait for it is usually a little long but you'll know why once you've had a taste.
I enjoy the nostalgic feel the park gives, and how you don't have to pay for rides you don't want to go on--the perk of it being free-admission. Beautiful little park tucked away from the hustle and bustle.
A wonderful hidden gem! A bit out of the way but the long ride is well worth it. The park is well maintained with lots of shaded areas. No admission fee, means those of us with large families that don't have a family full of thrill seekers can also enjoy the park, paying for only the rides we want to ride. We do buy some of the kids an u unlimited ride band as they will definitely use it. There is a great variety of rides and a wonderful nostalgic feel. The food is great quality without breaking the bank.
Kboebels is amazing. My 10 year old grandaughter can get on most of the rides. I must say the some ofbthe rides or breathe taking but fun. The park is for all ages but not alot of for the little ones. The ticket prices are a decent price. But the food is a little expensive I recommend to bring your own food, snacks, and drinks. The pool is almost always crowded. My family and I had the best ever.
My most favorite amusement park EVER... FREE parking... FREE enterance... And you PAY ONLY FOR WHAT YOU USE/EAT/DRINK... and you are allowed to bring in your own food and drink... $10 n u can have a blast there... The games are VERY VERY INEXPENSIVE...
This place is the best combination of a state fair and an amusement park. We camped at the campgrounds and brought our two dogs with us into the park and they really enjoyed it. Friendly staff and three great coasters plus some enjoyable vintage rides! Shout out to the Whip It!
We took our 4 and 6 year old sons here last week. We LOVED it! It has such a nice atmosphere, a lot of shade, and a huge variety of rides for all ages and sizes!
Food was pretty good, nice flavor. The rides are ok, more suited towards younger kids. Definitely not the place for you if you get dizzy easily. The tickets are a cool idea but I think it's a ripoff if you have multiple people.
This is the sort of place that once you go you keep going back and back it s one of the best amusement parks in America it was made for the family a kids of all ages all the rides or vintage A couple of world-class roller coasters the food is well you have to try that for yourself because next to the rides the foods the next best thing and clean the staff is very helpful the atmosphere very nice peaceful it s like stepping back in time doesn t cost you a fortune like if you want to the boardwalks down in New Jersey for what it cost you for one kid on the boardwalk you can take three to Knoebels and if you d like to camp it has one of the best campgrounds and like the park very clean bathrooms are nice plenty a room in your campsite nice walk to the park place where you can feel safe and have fun there s no cursing there s no graffiti just a Real hometown place to take the whole family for day a weekend even a week when I was a kid we spent a month there never gotten tired of it either will you and your family so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did in and and still does and now my whole family enjoys it and pretty soon my grandchildren
I have worked at this amusement park for the past 2 years in the alamo restaurant. In the past two years, I have enjoyed my time and had fun working. The atmosphere is great and I would recommend coming in to dine.
This is the best Amusement Park in NEPA! No admission charge to enter the Park, so if you have someone that rides only a few rides during the day, you can just buy books of tickets. If you just go to enjoy the food and atmosphere, you can do so without paying an exorbitant fee to walk through a gate. Good food, free entertainment on weekends and excellent rides. The coasters are 2nd to nome!!
This is the place to make memories that last a lifetime from camping to the gorgeous spring-fed swimming pool to the amusement park and miniature golf. They also have picnic groves available for rent. Don't miss the opportunity to visit this park you won't be disappointed!
Loved the place. Free entry. And pay per ride. Ultimately you end up spending on several books of tickets, but the best part was most of the attractions are so kid friendly and available without a long standing or waiting time. My kids enjoyed this place. Parking was free too. The location is amazing. The water splash is better than many other places.
So lucky to have this wonderful park 15 min from our house. No admission fee and free parking. Love the veterans discount we get each summer too. Just show your military ID and you will receive a free book of 20$ of tickets. This year they are taking vets photos for an ID card that can be used each year instead of the military ID. So don't forget your free tickets vets!
I love this old fashioned park it's my favorite I refuse to go to Hershey park because they are over priced and here is free to enter I love it and I recommend knoebels to everyone I know
It was fun but the first aid crew in the pool need more training if some has a small laceration that does not c all for stitches use ice not gauze pads lol i go back again
This is a very family orient place with free parking free admission great food at cheap prices for a place like this .They also have live shows ..if your near by this area anyone can tell you where it is and how neat it is to go back in time to when the family was number one thing in one person life .So look up Knoebels Park in Pa .
No parking fee, no gate fee and plenty of options for those who want to ride the rides! Family friendly, clean, and plenty of places to sit in the shade and relax with your own packed picnic! We will be back over and over again. Thank you!
I wish I knew about this when my children were little. Spending time with our grandchildren and other relatives of all ages is truly a wonderful experience. It's a clean, very well-kept and fun place to go.
You want family values you want old world charm you want a fun afternoon you want things the way you remember them as a kid this is the place to go this is one of the finest family operated and owned amusement parks in the world I rank it right up there with Lake Winnepesaukah in Georgia you don't need to go to Disney or Universal were any of the other Mega theme parks that have a good time this place has it all free admission to wander around good food fun times wonderful attractions including museums on property that cater to the local flavor if you've never been to Knoebels you are missing an absolute Jewel cannot say enough good about this place they even have their own Campground Lake Glory with a free shuttle bus to run you back and forth to the amusement park whether you go to swim ride or play there's something here for everyone if you miss Knoebels you are truly missing something amazing
Knoebels truly is family friendly, they have rides for everyone! Like water? Plenty of water rides to go around, even a water park. Like Rollercoasters? You'll love these. A little old fashioned and you might get a bruise from the Phoenix but overall it's great. There's a kids section, there's rides your grandparents can go on. Great pizza, ice cream, and my family and I absolutely love the roasted pecans.
Wonderful people. Wholesome environment. Food prices are below average and quality is good. Pet friendly. Free parking and free admission, pay only to ride or play. Free entertainment. Outstanding value.
Fun and historic amusement park with roller coasters, a nice swimming pool, modern and vintage rides, quality and variety in food, camping and cottages, and a museum. Attractive landscaping, friendly staff.
I was very impressed. Tucked nicely between a couple mountains. A good variety of rides/attractions for both little kids (3-6/7) and older kids/adults. Also some great food options. Parking is free. And the park is set up in a way that you can easily spend as little, or as much, as you want and still have a great time.
