I had a full knee replacement in 2010 it was huge success had no pain since do gym ,hiking and ballroom dancing now Thanks to DR Erasmus and the staff at Stellenbosch Mediclinic

Dr Erasmus has indepth knowledge and vast experience so one feels you are in very good hands. He and his team work very professionally and thoroughly: pre- op preparatory bloodtests, x-rays, a fitness report (and daily exercises are insisted upon for atleast 6 weeks) so that you have the best chance of responding well to treatment and/or surgery. Post-op exercises are also provided on being discharged and others are added at the post-op check up, if needs be.

Excellent service before and after the procedure. Dr Spike Erasmus and his team remains the masters of knee surgery.

Dr Erasmus operated on my knee in 2019, a half knee replacement. I cannot recommend him highly enough. A very kind and humble man. And a brilliant surgeon.

I had an accident a while back that meant I ve needed multiple surgeries by different surgeons. Dr Spike is by far the most skilled and nicest surgeon I ve dealt with. No ego and was not intimidated or insulted by lots of questions, very patient and always available. Before I picked him I had multiple opinions and was well informed which can irk other surgeons. I had a minor complication afterwards and he was very good at getting back to me and engaging with me until it resolved. I had to have both knees done and both surgeries have helped. He has a v good reputation for a reason I just wish more surgeons were like him.
