I would give zero stars, but Google won't let me.

I placed an order online to be picked up at the Marshall Kmart. When I placed the order, it said "pick up today in store", and that I would receive both a text and an email letting me know when it was ready to be picked up. After waiting most of the day for that notification, I decided to call the store. The clerk at the service desk who answered the phone told me that they didn't have a specific person assigned to fill the online orders and that they 'filled them when they had time", and that she was "pretty sure that there are probably orders from yesterday on the pile that haven't been filled yet".

Frustrated, I told her that it would have been nice to know that before I placed the order, since I could have just walked into the store and taken the items off the shelf and paid for them without waiting all day (although I was trying to avoid all of the check-out nonsense by ordering online). I asked if there was some way for me to leave a review or comment to that effect and she asked if I wanted to speak with a manager. I said yes.

When Randy, the manager, picked up the phone, he was all business. He asked me what name was on the order, told me that it would be ready soon, and that I would get a text letting me know when it was ready. Then he hung up on me. He didn't let me say anything beyond my name, let alone complain about how long it was taking them to fill my order (which was 2 items). He didn't apologize or even try to give an explanation for why it had taken them 5 hours to pull 2 bottles of bug spray off of the shelf and text me that they were ready. He didn't even say goodbye. He just hung up.

I wasn't a fan of the Marshall Kmart before, and really only shopped there if I didn't have time to make the drive to another store, but I don't think I will be shopping there again. Not until they improve their customer service and teach their employees some common courtesy and phone etiquette.

It's a decent sized K - Mart but it didn't have what we were looking for. I don't think any K- Mart would have had the item in question. We can't blame ourselves for the mistake completely; like other K-Marts, this one was very disorganized, and apparently they don't pay their staff to be very knowledgeable about the products they're selling. Then again, very few K-Mart employees get paid a living wage, so I bet job training is out of the question, too.

Left our stuff sitting, stand in the check out for 10 minutes and didn't move!!! They were more worried about getting the lady in front of us to get a credit card than to ring up the customer!!! Absolutely Crazy!!!! They are losing so much business, and have now lost ours!!!

Horrible customer service!!! We bought a 3 person tube and realized as soon as it was blown up that it had a small hole in the seam. I don't think that I should have to patch a brand new product nor do I think a patch would work on a seam so we took it back only to be hassled by the customer service person. She initially refused to return the item stating that she couldn't because it was a pool item. While waiting for her to consult with everyone on whether or not she could return a damaged item the same day it was purchased and after she insisted we could only exchange it (why would we at this point?!?!), we finally did her job and read her their own return policy where it states that only pool items over $150 can only be exchanged. And they wonder why all kmart will be closed soon....

Excellent steals of deals! Currently- the only operating Kmart store in Michigan, hopefully this one won't close down- because this town would be lost without it- in my opinion. Brings back good memories when I used to shop at Kmart as a kid- only problem on this visit was the cashier- who seemed to be Ms "slow motion inc", never seemed to be in a hurry to check people out at the register- one of those people you'd like to ask is: Hello cashier- am I keeping you from daydreaming???? Strangely- she asked, how many jackets did you get?? She should be able to tell because she rang them up- she must have been on dream street- not exactly sure of her reasoning behind it, however- she did make up for it by saying "Have a great day" in a rather robotic voice- maybe it's just her personality.

I've always been a Kmart shopper. But I've noticed the last two times I've been in this Kmart that their stock is getting smaller and smaller. Kmart is American icon store honestly I think more people need to shop here. I normally buy clothes here that last me years they're cheap and well made they have the best shoes you can buy anywhere they last forever more people need to shop at the store

Why is this place still here?
It did it s job back in the day but now it s the biggest hassle. Takes an hour to get through a line. 100 question test just to checkout and god forbid you ask for a paper receipt, you get a trees worth of paper.

Store clutter, no electronics or video games. In the 90s it was great....now it's a glorified consignment shop. Lined are the slowest I've ever seen. Only thing this place has worth it is the little Caesars.
