Amber was amazing!! Got me exactly what I wanted and was incredibly helpful!

Great to do business again with this iconic furniture store that orginally opened in Grand Rapids in 1889. This store closed briefly in 2010, and in it's reconstituted version still holds some of the remnants of its heyday years when it had a large furniture showroom located in the former East Brook Mall. Their customer service during this time was legendary. One personal example of this that I experienced was when my Mom had purchased a very nice desk as a house warming present. She stored it in her basement for over a year while our new home was being constructed. After the home was finished we discovered that the desk was going to be simply too large for the space. So we went back to Klingman's to locate a desk that would fit. The store not only agreed to exhange the desk at no additional cost, but they also picked up the desk that was in my Mother's basement and delivered the new one free of charge.

We recently had an experience at their store in Holland that began on somewhat of a sour note, but was rectified in the end. We purchased a fairly large book case that was supposed to be delivered on a particular date. I decided to take the day off so I was there for the furniture delivery. The day before the delivery I was supposed to receive a call confirming the appointment and a time window as to when it should arrive. When I didn't receive a call I contacted the store and apparently there was a mix up and I was told that it wouldn't be delivered until the following week. After speaking with the store manager she contacted the warehouse and they made a special trip to the Holland store to pick up and deliver it on the day I had taken off. This type of customer service and willingeness to make things right is almost unheard of these days. Klingman's has again reaffirmed my loyalty to their store and has shown their commitment to world class service.

Christine Freemen is the best advisor and designer I have ever worked with. Her taste is impeccable and her service is always on time and better than expected. She has done multiple projects for me, the latest being a total revision of my daughter's childhood bedroom. The result is beautiful and functional.

Almost no employees wore masks, or has them below their nose. Will not be returning because it is unsafe.

Walked in today and we were the only customers in the store and wasn't greeted by one employee as we walked past at least 4. Obviously we didn't fit their "buying" profile! Walked out and went to another local furniture store and purchased

Huge store with lots of selection. Great prices with very tasteful furniture and lots more of everything.

We have been very pleased working with Bob Mullen, in the process of furnishing our condo living room, following a recent move to Holland. Bob is very knowledgeable about the products that he recommends and has a great sense of color and style. Also, a great sense of humor!!

When I placed my order for a dining set, I was told it would arrive in 6-8 weeks. 8 weeks came and went and I had heard nothing from Klingman's. I called and was told a different date. After that date also passed, I went to the store and was told yet another date it would ship. A few weeks after that day, they finally called me that the furniture was ready, with no apology or regret for the delay. 13 weeks after eating every meal at a card table, my family finally has a dining set.

The furniture is high quality and I was pleased with the sales representative who helped me. However, anyone who orders from them should know their timetable isn't trustworthy and they really don't care when you get your order.

Update: The store manager called me after seeing my review. She apologized for the poor communication and told me they have discussed the importance of better communication and updates with their associates. I appreciated hearing from her.

Trust me. Klingman + Dawn S. is all you need!!!

Furnishing your home can be a daunting task, big or small. Dawn took care of the details and went above and beyond! My first time in the store, I had a little baby with me and she was so kind to help me, and entertain the baby in between. Did I mention she kept the store open 2-3hours after they closed? I m telling you look no further! Customer service does not exist like this anywhere.

She has since visited my home, shopped at other local stores, and has presented several different possibilities for our home, taking the guesswork and legwork out of the equation. She is very knowledgeable, has great design skills, she knows how to stretch the dollar, and recommended quality, affordable pieces that make a home a home!

Furniture is a big investment and you need to be sure you love what you take home. Dawn will take your dream and make it happen in light-speed time! Klingman s has a great selection with multiple possibilities available to suit any style and budget. Best wishes!

I have worked with Chris Freeman on many projects, and the process is always seamless and her design guidance flawless. My husband and I are in the process of building a new home, and Chris Freeman at Klingman s has again been instrumental in our process of building and outfitting the space with furniture. Top to bottom she has guided us through. The wonderful selection at Klingman s allowed us to outfit our entire project in a one stop shop fashion. I highly recommend Chris-her professionalism and talent will impress you!

This is an excellent store! We felt welcolmed without being pressured. The furniture is all very tasteful and they have designs and prices to match any one's needs. Tom really went above and beyond to find us a dining room set that worked for our space and create a custom, matching rug. All of their employees are interior designers and not just salesman, so their input is very helpful. Also, did I mention free delivery and setup? We still definitely be back for furniture or flooring needs!

My husband and be both were very disappointed how we were treated when we first walked into the store. We were greeted by a woman name Dawn. First she ask how could she help us, I proceeded to tell her we were looking fora chair for are son for a gift. Dawn then ask how much was we looking to spend. I told her around a thousand dollars. Dawn then said oh your going to want to look at are clearance chairs. Don t get me wrong but I have shopped at very nice high end furniture and never been treated like this. Dawn then said klingman s only carry high end furniture. I was shocked . Why would she say such a remark. You are more then welcome to check for your self the furniture stores I have bought from and as I stated Before never has anyone came across like that. Dawn has no clue how much money we have or don t have but to judge us like she did, not happy,nor will I shop again at klingman s. I did fine a chair for my son over a thousand and bought it with cash. No thanks to Dawn.
