Small but good selection of craft beer and fresh food!!!!

this place is FIRE...i came down from VA just on a whim to try this place from this guy i play xbox with that i have never met in person.... his name is SLAWDADDY on Cod Cold war... i came at around 5 was sat down really quick and ordered the shrimp burger offered by Katie...10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting the Greenville area...perfect place for a first date or a anniversary... if we get another stimulus check im probably gonna spend the whole check in one night at this location

Possibly the best restaurant in Greenville. Food and service like nowhere else.

Love the ambiance, food, farm to table, deliciousness, and even the waiter was adorable! A must try restaurant.

I went here with a group from work and the food was fantastic! Very down to earth, friendly and hospitable servers and even the owner is running around helping and talking to those dining in the restaurant. The burgers are absolutely amazing and the shrimp salad is fantastic! Highly recommend!

The service and food is always top-notch. Fresh and flavorful seasonal menus. Have spoken to the owner, Karen, a few times and she is always friendly. One my favorite go-to spots for a date night, and I can't wait to share with more friends and family when they are in town.

This place has a great menu with perfect pairings! We had the S&P pizza and Mike's salad. They were both delicious. The place gets 2 thumbs up from me.

The food was great but the service was not. I am a black female and me and a friend of mine who is also a black female went to Kitchen Sync on a Thursday night. My friend got there at 7:24 pm and put her name down for 2. Somehow the host managed to seat 2 other parties of 2 that came in after us (both white females) and had i not said anything to the host he would have sat 2 more parties before us. Then when the manager/owner kevin found out what happened he found us seats very quickly but did not come over to offer his apologies for the oversight. We had to ask for him about 20-25minutes after we we're seated. Once he came we explained how we felt and what it looked like to us as we were the only black people eating there. He apologized and tried to explain why it happened. Even though the intent of discrimination was not there, the feeling of it was felt by me and my friend and all he offered us was free bread that my friend had to ask for! We we're not looking for any special treatment but once we explained to Kevin how we felt I think he should have tried a little harder to make us happy. Had he done that I would not have felt the need to write this review. The food again was great and our waiter Nick was great too, very attentive, but because this place being run by someone who doesn't understand customer service I can't say that I will be back.

Delicious food, good environment, friendly staff. I especially liked the seating options as we were able to be seated right away since we were okay with sitting at the community table. Manager was involved, taking a hands on approach to checking on guests and even helping bus tables!

Very Nice ! Everything on the menu sounds tasty ! The Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich is yummy ! The staff is very friendly, atmosphere/decor is on point, very clean! We definitely be back to try more food on the menu!

Great spot to get food that is fresh and local. I love the farm to table concept. Indoor and outdoor seating is a nice option. The cocktails are superb and daily specials of food never fail to impress.

First time. My daughter wanted to go for her birthday. Not disappointed. I look forward going back to try more menu items. We got zucchini hummus and a couple of pizzas.

It is okay..but the food was cold when it got to the table. I was served the wrong drink on purpose. The server actually said the kitchen sync didn't have that, so he got me something similar. It wasn't terrible, I just don't think I was in the correct demographic.

We were really excited to eat dinner at this restaurant! We ve heard nothing but great things about the menu! It was a busy Friday night with about a 30 minute wait. We were more than willing to wait due to our excitement of eating at the restaurant. After waiting over the time frame given to us, we noticed people who entered the restaurant after us were getting seated. The host continued to make contact with us, but never even thought to check on us or give us any update on our table. After noticing that a large party (who made no previous reservation prior to entering) got seated before us, we decided to leave. It was a real bummer because the food and atmosphere looked great!

Had an appetizer of the day, simply named toast, that was amazing! Kielbasa, sweet kraut, apple smash on local bread, bruschetta style. I had the super greens pizza which was great. Fresh ricotta! Husband had the burger and didn't speak till it was done. Homemade fries were tasty. I love the local beers and Sarah, our waitress, guided me to a beer I loved. We'll take out of town guests here to show them how it's done in Greenville! Kudos, Kitchen Sync. I'll give you a 5 star after I've tried more things on the menu!

Just came from this restaurant. 1sy, they know how to make a manhattan cocktail. The only place south of the Mason Dixon line that I have found that knows how to do that. 2nd, I had the catfish. OUTstanding. The spinach salad and the collard greens were good enough to make me rethink not being a vegetarian. The service was excellent, the crew was so vigilant. I loved it and will be back. I might move to Greenville.

The food here is FANTASTIC! If you haven't tried it, stop whatever you're doing! Go there RIGHT NOW! you're welcome..

By far one of the best restaurants we've tried in Greenville. Love the atmosphere, great menu & craft beer selection, and an awesome concept of being a green/no waste restaurant. Our server was wonderful. The moderate price point is more than appropriate for the quality of food and service.

An overall good experience, the server Shelly was very attentive and experienced. Their food was served quickly while also being delicious!

The flavorful, creative menu reminded me of my years living in NYC. This is some of the best food I've had from coast to coast. However, I'm disappointed in the staff. Fairly friendly, but really lacking in personality. From the hostess to the bar and to the floor staff. For a casual yet hip decor with such stellar food, I would have expected more outgoing staff for a more welcoming allure.

I stopped by today for the first time. I like the decor, nice friendly vibe. Service was friendly and fast. I had the Catfish Caesar Salad. The catfish was fried to perfection, not heavy or greasy. My only ask is I like a traditional Caesar salad dressing so hit me with the anchovie and garlic. The Parmesan crouton was a nice touch.

The food is good. We came because of a couple of recommendations and found a lively lunchtime--and waited 30 minutes for a table.

I ordered the Banh Mi Salad--a lovely combo of crusty fried tofu and noodles and veggies. A creative, unusual dish. But a lunchtime salad for $17? Really? There ought to be a sign out front about the prices! That's why it's 4 stars and not 5. (And yes. I get that it's real nonchemical-laden food prepared in a healthy way.)

My companion ordered a dish without onions but got onions anyway (and an apology). Service was good, especially considering the crowd.

Let me preface this by saying that I loved Kitchen Sync. Notice how that s past tense? Loved- as in used to really like it. I used to think their food was great and even recommended it to others. Not anymore!

Tonight I was fat shamed by the hostess who I overheard talking about me with the OWNER. Apparently, the hostess thought I needed to wait for a table due to my large size. I m not going to sugar coat it, I am fat. Do I want to pay to eat somewhere that feels the need to discuss MY SIZE IN FRONT OF ME? HELL NO.

When I confronted the owner he didn t show much compassion and simply offered up the explanation that 1) I wasn t supposed to hear that and he was sorry, and 2) they had booths open (booths that I would ve been uncomfortable in) and that s why it was said.

I told the manager that we could ve been referred to as the couple that requested a table ... because we did!! And because mine and my husband s size are none of their business.

Did the owner make things better? Hell no. Now, Mr Owner if you re reading this, here s a suggestion...if you have a visibly upset customer that is upset due to an employee s actions/words, a customer that you know very well will leave and never come back.. try this instead: take them to the side, offer a sincere apology and say you know what.. that was wrong but dinner is on me tonight and I will make sure this never happens again.

Sucks, cause their super green pizza is bomb, but my self respect is worth more.

Excellent meals with great and respectful service on our first visit. Future visits will show the sustainability! Outdoor seating available before and behind the building.

We had our dog with us because we were traveling. Not dog friendly. Ended up at Grateful Brew and had a blast.

My son graciously agreed to go to Kitchen Sync to order my lunch and his because I was at the eye doctor. I was delayed at the eye doctor. Kitchen Sync staff refused to seat my son because I was not there. He told them repeatedly that I was going to be on the way and that he knew precisely what I wanted ordered. I had a short window for lunch, and his being seated and ordering for both of us was critical to my having lunch. Still they refused to seat him. He finally left because of his treatment. I urge Greenville citizens who care about the treatment of patrons not to go to Kitchen Sync. I have spent a lot of money there, and I never will again. Their staff is unable to make decisions that are helpful to guests. Such restaurants should not be in Greenville where a best in class service is expected.

Great Experience, Great food, atmosphere and wait staff. Only about 2 miles form the Zoo. We brought our 3 and 5 year old. Couldn't have asked for more.

The shrimp burger is amazing. I love seafood and I never thought that it would be that delicious. I can't wait to go back for more.

We make special trips to Greenville to eat here. The food never disappoints...the chicken sandwich I had today makes Chickfila taste like fast food...and that's really saying something! My 4 year old said her pasta was so good she couldn't stop eating it to drink her water! Will definitely keep coming here!

Delicious food, generous portions, well priced, outstanding staff.

Atmosphere was wonderful. The food was excellent and the prices are reasonable for the high-quality. I did order my grits dish without an egg, and the food runner brought it to the table with an egg on top...he took it back and they slipped the egg off, which, had I been allergic to eggs, would not have been a good move. We had to ask for additional silverware from the food runner. I don't think whoever was expediting at the pass was on their game that day and the food runner must have been untrained. The server was very good.

It certainly has a fun atmosphere to it. It seems to be a "trendy" restaruant. Also, as other reviewers have noted, it can get quite noisy. We had the local toast, the pizza of the night and the Thai pot pie. The pizza was wonderful. The Thai pot pie lacked the full flavor typical to curry dishes. Then again, kitchen sync is not a Thai restaurant. The service was great.

Creative dishes. Always the freshest ingredients. Love this place!

Our family happened to find this place while passing through Greenville. Turned out to be exceptional. Every plate was delicious, fresh, inspired, and full of flavor. Everyone from kids to adults enjoyed their meals. As a bonus, this restaurant is super eco-friendly. I only wish we had a Kitchen Sync in Texas. Thank you for a wonderful dinner experience!

I took my dad here for birthday dinner. I enjoyed it. Our waitress was so sweet. Also the host was so polite we had to wait about 10-15 minutes to be seated but this wasn t a issue. My dad enjoyed the pizza while I had grill chicken and sweet potatoes. I will be back definitely.

Great food, great service, really great beer selection! It's like a small piece of Asheville in Greenville.

Very busy during lunch but the food was very good. Only real downside is they didn't have regular dill pickles for my burger, they have homemade zucchini pickles which is great if you like zucchini but it's not something I care for. Wouldn't stop me from returning!

Kitchen Sync struck the perfect balance of offering fresh, high-quality food and creative dishes without being pretentious. The inside of the restaurant is stylish and comfortable at the same time. The food was excellent, with no disappointments. I had parmesan kale chips and the uncured pepperoni pizza, both of which were spectacular. Another thing I liked about Kitchen Sync was that the portions were generous; I don't often find this to be the case at new restaurants. I ordered a half house salad to go with my pizza, and the dish they brought out could have been my whole meal. Overall, a wonderful experience at Kitchen Sync!

I finally stopped and had lunch with a friend. I like there farm to table attitude and there environmental efforts. The atmosphere was fun. The food was very good.

I love the ambiance, their food selections, and customer service. My favorite is the Shrimp Burger with French fries. Their food is wonderfully seasoned and fresh. Fresh cut fries and fresh shrimp. All of the food I've had at Kitchen Sync is excellent and the price is affordable.

Fantastic! Pot pie was in interesting southern/thai fusion. Loved it. Portions are pretty big here so bring friends to share with or bring an appetite.

Amazing food and amazing service. The server we had knew the story of the place and sold the restaurant. Very knowledgeable on everything about the restaurant from the food all the way to the owners. Zoe, the server was great. Highly recommend her and this restaurant. Very fresh ingredients. Everything is made from scratch in house.

Social distancing was evident and staff were masked. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. Iwill definitely go back.

I'd heard great things about the Kitchen Sync, and I was not disappointed! Great casual atmosphere, yummy food, and wonderful service/staff. The Summer Veggie Pizza, "white pie w zucchini, tomatoes, red onions, sweet white corn, banana peppers, mozzarella, goat cheese & fresh basil" is so tasty, and light-- even the crust was excellent- I could have eaten the crust drizzled in olive oil as an appetizer or something! Had to try a dessert, so we shared a slice of the Chablis Cake...YUM. Kudos to the chef(s) for excellent fare, and there are so many things on the menu that I would like to try...another time! Already looking forward to my next visit. Also, the restaurant was packed but we did not have to wait, there was just a steady flow...AND, I had my coffee refilled 3x...perfect with the Chablis Cake

Drinks and appetizers were delicious, great waitress, and nice ambiance. Parking can be difficult and you can only make reservations for a party of 6 or more, otherwise I would give it a 5 star review.

The food was delicious! My family ordered a pizza and I ate a salad which was very delicious. Our sever was charles and he was very nice and made the experience outstanding. We are already craving their spinach cheese pizza.

The pizza and fries were magnifico!! The Garlic-flavored pizza is especially highly recommended. Freaking delish. And fyi, the pizza I got, shown in the pic, is half-Philly short rib, half-Garlic. The Philly short rib half was cool, but the other half was soooooo much better!! If I'd known, I would've just got a whole pie of that. But nevertheless!

I have been here a few times, mostly for dinner, and it was excellent. They waited on me very quickly and helped me with everything that I needed. Our party was rather large and she did a great job.

Delicious foid, fabulous drinks and friendly service. What more could you ask for.

Food was excellent! We had the scampi and the gnudi and both were delicious. Finished off the meal with the wine and butter soaked pecan cake that was it of this world. Our server, Daniel, made great recommendation and was quick all night. We will definitely return!
