The factory tour is fun. Recommended when the summer is hot!

Highly recommended. The tour was completely free and included 3 beers. The walking portion was about an hour and afterwards you get 20 minutes or so to drink with everyone. Has a pretty nice gift shop as well.

Excellent opportunity. They have three beer samples at the end! The tour is in Japanese but they give you cards in English. Interesting to learn how they make this tasty beer!

A great place for beer lovers to have a fresh beer tasting after the tour. Of course, there are two restaurants that can be enjoyed here as well.

Awesome tour- it takes a few subway stops to get to, but very worth it..the brewery is beautiful, and the tour is very informative. They provide audio sets for English speakers ( bring headphones- they don t provide) as the tour is in Japanese, but that just makes it more fun. You get three big glasses of delicious beer for free. After explore the neighbourhood- Away from the tourists and feels more authentic. Definitely a must do in Tokyo. You need to make a reservation in advance, so don't just show up because they will likely be booked out. Also make sure you make a reservation- as it books up, so you can't walk in.

It was an interesting observation with a directing effect that was more intimidating than the beer factory over there!
The deliciousness of tasting beer is something of agony

Amazing tour even for an English speaker. Audio guides are handed out for any english speakers with numbers to follow along with for the tour. There is some fantastic visual presentation with the tour and I definitely felt like I know a lot more about beer then when I went in. At times it feels like an advertisement but it is all for free, not to mention you also receive 3 free beers at the end. Would definitely recommend.

A place very worth to visit. You will receive warm welcome. Get a selfie printed in the kirin beer package. Guided tour with all the information about the production and quality of the Kirin beer. Had a great time visiting this brewery and sampling their beer. We called in advance and managed to get a tour on the following day. Although the tour was in Japanese, English audio guides were available. The tour was completely free of charge and at the end we were served three!! beers with snacks. From now on, I only drink Kirin beer.

This tour is so good! If you don't understand japanese they will give you this phone thing that plays the audio for different parts of the tour so you don't miss out on anything. You also get 3 free beers at the end and the tour itself is free!! Highly recommend it!

A little distance from the shin koyasu train station. Need to bring an umbrella if you are walking in summer. The tour is mostly spoken in Japanese to cater for the majority Japanese attendees but they give you a nice little booklet in English to make up for it. The very nice guide also speaks English to us after the main demo. Very friendly and polite staff. You get 3 free drinks at the end! Yummy! And best part is it is free!

It was good to have been able to visit before diving without reservation.
There was also a bus for Yokohama Station / Red Brick Warehouse.

Amazing free tour showing the process of how they make their famous Kirin ichiban beer. An English audio guide is provided as well. The tour guide kept checking up on me, as one of the only English speakers in the group and was very nice. There was also free beer at the end. Gr8 stuff

I made a reservation by phone on the day and participated in a free tour course. Reservation phone calls are also good, and there are confirmations such as Is it the first time , There are movements of stairs and escalators but there are no problems with walking , Transportation .

Best brewery tour!! It s free to do and you can get 3 free beers after. The tour is in Japanese but they ll give you an English brochure to follow along with. I ve done multiple brewery tours in America and this is definitely one of my favorites.

Very nice brewery, the guide was super nice,she was always smiling and offer to take pictures, the tour was interesting and the beer was great. They would get more visitors if it was in the downtown area.

Saya Kayaba was our tour guide and she was the best. She was very informative, and gave us an English pamphlet to follow and explained it English along with it. If you get a chance, visit Kirin brewery. It was interesting to hear the history of Kirin. If that is not enough, you get a free sampling beer.

Free beer tour explaining how Kirin produces their flagship ichibanshibori beers. You get to experience the ingredients, taste the wort before it gets fermented to beer, and finally try their selection of Kirin Ichibanshibori beers for free. They also provided a free can of their upcoming release on 22nd Jan (visited the factory on 17th Jan).

They provided an English guide book and all video displays have English subtitles.

A quick walk from the JR Shin-Koyasu Station, we encountered a small building with giant sign "Kirin Beer Village". Apparently NOT the actual beer village.

You walked pass that building and see the brewery with Kirin on the side. Right place now.

No english tours were offered at that time we went but they gave us an english translated presentation.
Great time to learn and appreciate the brewing process. Who would had guessed that barley, malt and hops = smooth beer. Iciban beer!

Tours about a hour and they offer 20 minutes to have 3 beers (Kirin Ichiban, Stout, Hops). They are pretty strict on the 20 minutes so make it count since they don't really count your beers.
I have a feeling that's why the gift shop is there too. Beer + Gift Shop = More stuff to sell. Can't complain since the tour and beers were FREE!

Overall, great experience and fun time. Near by Beer Port Restaurant is great if it's dinner time too.

We had visited Kirin Brewery Yokohama Factory before the renewal, but it was our first visit after the renewal. (January 2019)

Get off at Keihin Electric Express Railway Bare Station and take about 15 minutes. The elevated highway of the Metropolitan Expressway K7 Kanagawa Route 7, which had never been before, passes the sky in front of the factory.

It is the strongest on-site combo.

The tour and tasting were both the best. The fresh beer is delicious.

Minimal customer experience at Kirin Factory

After visiting the Kirin Factory, go to Beerport.
Two glasses are free, but half of the beer types that can be sampled on the website cannot be explained without explanation.
If you get a 10% discount ticket at the experience corner before the tour, you can't use it at the end of the tour.
The best thing to do is to order Genghis Khan, etc. and move to the table with Genghis Khan pot next to 2m in the middle of meal (appetizer etc.). I received a terrible service that I could not remember for the first time in ten years. It's even more surprising because it was a big company. Actual customer service proves that Kirin's words of customer focus are all lies. All the words of the president will be false. The customer experience may be the worst because it is a Kirin company. No intention of losing fans. Isn't customer satisfaction activity such as factory tour included until the last meal? What if you had a conductor that was taken semi-forced from the factory guide to the beer port (you can't taste it without entering the beer port)?
Being rude when there are almost no customers other than factory tours at night is that Kirin employees do not get fired, they work hard and have no effect on their service, or Kirin employees are assigned to restaurants. Do you think it was done?

The customer satisfaction experienced at Suntory and Asahi was much different. Since the tour of the Suntory factory, I think it's important to make good feelings like premium malts are used everyday.

Fantastic tour and they finish it off with free beer samples (3 x 330ml glasses). It's all in japanese but there's English guide notes. You learn about the beer brewing process and sample their beers throughout the process. Highly recommended!!

Was a good experience was an interesting tour and the beer was good. Do not that the tour is in Japanese but you can get an English written translation so you can follow. Also you get 3 drinks for free but be sure to grab them before the 20 min is up!

When I was in junior high school, I went to see a society.

The factory tour was very fun! We arrived late for our reserved group tour and the staff was generous enough to send us on a personal guided tour. Our guide was lovely and tried really hard to do the tour in english for us. The tour is very well organised, it ends with a complementary tasting of 3 Kirin beverages (enough to get you drunk ). We had a great time visiting the factory and I think it's definitely worth a visit.

Free entrance, free guided tour, free beer, free drinks and free tidbits. These should be good enough reasons to make a visit to this brewery worthwhile. The brewery tour is well-organised, educational and fun. The tours are conducted from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm daily except on Mondays. However, if Monday is a national holiday, then it is open as usual but will be closed the next day. Visitors are advised to call and make reservation before coming. Highly recommended!

overall experience was great they offer a free tour which include the option to follow along in different languages (the tour is in japanese) at the end they give you four different beers to taste and they are all great. while you are in the brewery try the yokohama original yokohama is the only place you will get it.
