An excellent club for all age groups. I have particular knowledge of the Junior Section which has first class coaches who inspire their young rowers to give of their best. The junior section is going from strength to strength with youngsters representing Great Britain in various international events. KRC Juniors have had well deserved wins at the National Schools Championships and at Regattas and Heads.

Friendly rowing club which is able to host all levels of rowers, from novices to internationals.
Numerous socials are organized and through the year, and you always feel included by other club members, no matter who they are, and what they have achieved in the past.

Having just moved to Kingston, I thought I d try join a team and decided the best club to join in the area would be the Kingston Rowing Club. A new sport to me, I contacted the club and subsequently joined the Learn to Row (LTR) course in May/June 2019. I am a complete novice; however, with superb coaches (big shout out to Mike, Lauren & Andrew) and help from the whole club (also thanks Minnie!), I d say I am gaining confidence in my ability and technique. I fully plan to stay on with the club now that I m no longer in the LTR and recommend anyone, whether a beginner or confident rower, to join! The club is welcoming, has a fantastic stretch of water and is located very close to Kingston centre - what more could you want?

Deserve no stars. Their coaches show total disregard to the safety measures that are in place and abuse them on a regular basis. Go watch that part of the river for a while and witness it yourself!

Great learn to row programme. Friendly atmosphere. Social group of people who enjoy training as well as downtime. Thursday evenings there is normally food made by volunteers and served in the licensed bar, with very reasonably priced drinks. Training camps for the more serious but also casual rowing to be pursued. Diverse and welcoming environment with all age groups from juniors to octogenarians. Great sunrises and sunsets to be had on a beautiful stretch of the non tidal Thames, from Teddington to Molesey lock. Plus the bird life, and every kind of water faring vessel. Great place to be.

This club has a thriving membership of all ages and is truly open to all! There are squads of varying abilities with many professional coaches and also several learn to row courses run during the year. If you want to try rowing you could not ask for a better spot on the Thames to do it!

KRC is a large rowing club with a great community of keen & successful rowers of all ages (11 to 70+). Rowers benefit from excellent coaching and a beautiful stretch of water. Highly recommended!
