Our son played rec leauge basketball for the first time. The kids on his team, and other "Kingdom" teams, were kids who had never played or did not make their school team. We rarely played another Kingdom team and mainly played Select Teams, were we lost by over 30-90 points every time. We were not given practice time at the Kingdom every week. After the season started, we were given a few Friday night slots for practice. We will not be back to the Kingdom to play any sports.
Great location. It can be a bit crowded if there are a lot of games going but it is such a fun experience. There are clean restrooms, a snack bar, and the staff are friendly. It's an awesome place for indoor sports.
Nice place. We had a karate tourney there and I enjoyed it.
Very inviting place for everyone. Coffee needs a makeover for the price.
Really nice place for sports. Great place for families, kids, and individuals!
Bathrooms need updated, badly!
It is a nice, Christian place for you and your kids to enjoy some sports bonding time
Parking is just awful! For the fees each child is charged to play there & then the audience is charged to watch the games, it's a crock. Last Friday a person was out of their vehicle yelling at the person behind her due to the parking situation. The restrooms stink & are nasty! Why people keep coming back boggles my mind.
Been a while since I was there but they have nice basketball and indoor soccer facilities
Watched granddaughter play basketball. Doesn't get any better than that!
Extremely poor.......main basketball court was not even with one basket obviously lower than the other and shably maintained. Not a structured tournament environment as per game operations go(scoreboard operations, scorebook keeping and the like.) The teams that are sponsored by The Kingdom are devoid of any sportsmanship from the Coaches yelling at other teams players or their players pushing our kids.Overall a sorry excuse for a tournament...my son won't be back. It's just not worth it.
Nice sports complex with areas for soccer and basketball
Nice prices for seniors but wayyyyyy too expensive for families trying to see their children play. $5.00 seniors...$15.00 for any others. Lots of complaints from many attending
Gready, overpriced, bad officiating, and poor facilities
Good for location and space for indoor sports.Needs updating inside and more parking.
Good complex, the interior is well laid out. We were there for Basketball tournaments - they need some sort of noise barriers/sound curtains between the courts. Good concession area. Need a little bigger parking area. Easy to locate & to access, right off if the Interstate.
Nice facility and indoor soccer. Parking is crowded.
I don t care who you are and who it comes down to by calling mike roe and him telling you to play a basketball game no matter what. Well guess what if you want kids to play on slippery courts to injure themselves then you need to be there all night dealing with the courts after each game. As much as you guys make with al the sports and day care you should have a little better system to take care of the place. We about had three kids get hurt tonight on the court and they paused our game to talk to whoever was there and called the owner and said we play no matter what and no make ups. I can understand no make up games but I would like to see anyone else go out there and try to play on an ice skating rink for a court. Place is a joke. And having to pay to watch your kid play I think is crazy when it s just a recreational league that has to play against a lot of select teams that say to you this is just scrimmage for us to get better. Scheduling needs to be done better. Last year we played and it wasn t this bad. I respect the two referees that were on court three tonight for the 8-9 game. Not sure of their names but but thank you for making the right call and not wanting to see these kids get hurt. I can guarantee you this will be our last year playing here. Kingdom sports center only cares about the money. You can obviously tell that by walking In the place. Needs cleaned up big time!
Great place for kids sports. Basketball, indoor soccer. Very well kept up.
Really like that every game is timed. You know when you get in and get out. The only issue is teams aren't balanced well. Some teams are way under powered while other clubs are very advanced.
My son plays indoor soccer here. Large facility with plenty of parking. They have college players give classes sometimes highly recommend your child taking advantage of that.
What a wonderful place for sports! Clean and family friendly. It's a joy to watch my grand son's games here!
Nice place, just not a lot of parking during basketball season. Always have to look for awhile or park out on the street. Easy place to find off highway.
It's decent for a sports complex. Features basketball and soccer. Restrooms could use some attention. The leagues are well run though. Fairly level competition for the younger leagues atleast. Concessions are good. Parking tends to be difficult to find at times. So overall I'll say 3 of 5 but it could easily move upward with some minor changes.
If you are not a Waynesville or Kingdom team you will not get treated fairly by the refs, they make it obvious and if you try to talk to the refs they argue it. One ref said the girl Waynesville put in at the end of the session was in Florida the whole month...ok. She even had the same number as someone else in the team. So they filled out the roster with two girls of the same number? The Refs are aware that Waynesville adds girls to the game mid session depending on if they a play a team that may beat them. I have watched Refs clearly make calls to change the outcome of the game. I have heard of teams not playing here just for that reason. Been around the sport for more than 30 years and I have never seen such intentionally poor reffing. This does nothing for the girls working hard nor for the girls who s coach/ref cheats to win. We will not be bringing any teams here again, we will spend our money elsewhere.
I don't like that I have to pay to watch every time my son or his friend play
I feel very safe letting my child run around there great refreshments parking free 5 dollars adult kids free
Place is so dinghy it's overwhelming...
Smells like a men's locker room/feet
Not air conditioning but does have a concession stand that charged $2 for water and a cold pretzel with cold cheese
Just wish they had more teams to play in soccer, and the referees could use some cheering up.
This place is a great sporting event venue. They really have figured out how to run multiple games all at once and have a very welcoming atmosphere. I always enjoy myself there.
Michael Roe takes time to teach the "why" during the baseball training. Great job!
