Friendly owner, good food and a nice clean setup. I ll visit again for a more in-depth review later. My cheese fries were good. It was empty, but it seems like they just opened. Avoid the forks, they re cheap and break easily.
Complete trash food was made wrong and cold and didn t even get things I ordered don t let these fake reviews fool you just go somewhere else

I ordered the Jerk Chicken over rice for delivery through door dash , the food was cold & the chicken was so overcooked it was not edible my rice was dry & hard and there was grease all over the food . I tried it but it wasn t good at all so I threw it away .
Words cannot convey how disappointed I was in the lack of professionalism at Kingdom as well as a selection from the "African" menu. While living in West Africa for 7 years, fufu was a staple of my diet. What passes for fufu at Kingdom is a complete joke. The fufu itself was runny when it should have been stiff, probably due to the fact that the sauce was actually served on top of it instead of in a separate bowl! The sauce was utterly bland. The only good thing was the beef- very tender and flavorful. If I was not "Midwestern nice," I would have left at first glance of what I ordered.
This place is great! The owners are awesome and everything we've tried has been delicious. The Domada is my favorite African dish, rich and round flavors. The gyros are pretty killer too. I'm surprised others have had bad luck with breakfast, in our experience everything has been surprisingly tasty and well prepared. Also I'm thrilled to have a breakfast spot on the north side now!

I was really excited to try this place as I've always wanted authentic swarma but I'm thinking a hard pass on ever going back.
The garlic chicken is incredible and delicious but literally every other bite I took I pulled a quarter sized bone out that hurt the hell out of my teeth when discovering it. I got 6 bones in before throwing it in the trash.
The fries? 0 taste to them at all. No salt or anything. Absolutely tasteless.
Menu is huge, something for everyone and I really wanna try other stuff but if they're this careless that they can't remove bones? I can't trust what else they're probably skipping on.

The owner is very friendly and food is freshly amazing!!! I got the dish I know as chicken peanut stew and it was basic but delicious and flavorful. I just needed a vegetable or fresh component to make it more live.

Welcome to the North side, Kingdom! The food is excellent! My husband had Domada (chicken dish with rice and peanut sauce) and said it was delicious. It came with 3 pieces of chicken over a large portion of rice. When I learned it wasn't spicy I tried it and agreed it was delicious! I had the Shwarma with lamb served on a pita with a large side of fries. It was delicious! The lamb was well seasoned and tender. It is different lamb than what they use for the gyro, which is what my 7 y/o got. She and my 4 y/o loved the gyro. I tasted that too and it was delicious! I am so glad we have such a delicious addition to the north side. I highly recommend Kingdom restaurant on Northport Dr.

I ordered 2 Belgium waffles with a side of bacon. I received 2 pancakes with sausage and eggs. My eggs had shells mixed in them and my sausage was burnt. I usually never review places but this one i couldn't let go. very very basic. I ordered through door dash and put in my order at 8:30am. My order didn't arrive to my location which as a 10 minute drive away from the restaurant until 10:00am. Not okay.

Had a very nice dinner here the other evening - 2 pc each battered cod & chicken tenders with fries. I specified that I wanted tenders so don't know what is normally served. Also, you MAY be able to specify choice of fish, but not sure. If so, I'd try the catfish. My companion had the catfish nuggets & he was pleased with his dinner as well. The fries were hot but nothing special. I would suggest they create a "Signature" seasoning of mild African spices & "brand" their fries as "Signature Fries". One could also order them without the special seasoning, of course. Very nice & friendly staff. The hot sauce that came with our dinners is definitely hot - too spicy hot for me but my friend loved it. No tartar sauce was served with my fish & should have been - or at least offered. I didn't think to ask for it until I was on my 2nd piece of fish. I also believe breakfast is served during all open hours as another customer said she had the pancakes & loved them. Except for the unsalted (which is fine) unseasoned fries, it was great food!!! Nice quiet atmosphere & we will definitely return.
This restaurant gives superb service as well as tasty meals. The best spot around here. The food and drinks came out fast and the rates were reasonable. I recommend this place.

Best fried chicken in madison. If you are in a hurry call ahead everything is cooked fresh to order. Don't concern yourself about it being joined with a gas station this place is legit!

Best diversified restaurant in Madison. My networking group host meetings here to show his appreciation the owner has been in our photo shoots and now designate an area for us to meet. When we pulled up the drive through said opened we pulled up to it there is no intercom we waited then realized there was boxes n such on front of the window so we didny think it was open. So we went inside. The gentlemen was kind and curtious not sure if he is the owner but I think he was. While waiting for food i walked around and looked at some of the art n decor on the walls. Nice way to bring your culture to let everybody see and learn from. The floors were sticky need a good cleaning. Food was good i will most likely return to try other items from the menu. I ordered the chicken sandwich and my mom and son both got the gyro plate.. A little pricey for the portions although great food makes the price worth it
The catfish was amazing! I didn't love the fries, but the buffet looked great. The service was great, and very friendly. There are no pictures because I ate it too quickly.
Got the "Hangover". Dude, its freaking awesome. It's a Philly steak with fried egg and fried onions. Think there's more in it but was to busy eating to care. Owner is very nice and staff is cool too.
Always have to wait for food that isn't worth the wait.

The people who work there are very nice ave respectable. The Food however is very overpriced and not prepared very well. I've tried to allow the benefit of the doubt a few times before leaving this review but I'm sorry it's not worth the visit nor the time or money. Sorry just not a good eatery.
Best take-out we've had in a long time. Not only was the food amazing, but the customer service was also top notch! We plan on eating here again for sure.
Schwarma, though the chicken was overcooked, was really really tasty and my daughter and I loved the fries!
Unfortunately, the curry with chicken was awful. We weren't sure why each time we put our fork in the chicken, it felt like bone. We ended up picking it up and figuring out that it was just very overdone. The couscous (usually a favorite) was tasteless and dry. We usually love all things curry.
The iced tea tasted like it was old...like spoiled.
I really wanted to like this restaurant and will be disappointed to not get to go back for the scharma and fries again, but we likely won't.
Very friendly place that recommended my food when I said it was my first visit. I don t know the name of the dish. It was large and tasty. I asked for some heat and was given a side dish with a delicious hot sauce.

If I could leave no stars, I would. I ordered through GrubHub and my food arrived rather quickly. It was completely wrong. And despite me now having a bag full of food I cannot eat, they refused to refund me or to deliver the correct food. When I talked to someone on the phone, he was incredibly rude. GrubHub at least gave me $15, but that didn t cover the total amount I spent. I advise everyone to stay very far away from this place unless you like to dine on disappointment.

Order beef shawarma, looks like stir fried beef on a pita. the beef was over cook and they put hot sauce on it.... the place is dark and abit unclean
