Killeen Castle Golf Club Review

Excellent golf and food. Friendly and helpful staff.

1st time visitor to this course. The backdrop of the Castle and the church ruins are impressive.The course itself was magic and well worth every penny. Loads of bunkers, water , streams and of course trees, are just some of the obstacles you would expect on a Jack Nicklaus designed golf course. Favourite hole was the par 5 , number 12. Drive, lay up, and wedge in will leave you putting for a birdie. Look out for the water though! Visually stunning hole. Greens are fast, undulating and fun! This course is a classic! Highly recommended.

Great golf course with lovely grounds and great services such as restaurant and club around.

An amazing 18 hole test of golf ability in magnificent surroundings, every hole is different. A must if you get a chance

Bunkers are the worse in the country.. wont ay again.. greens very good

Killeen Castle is a fantastic parkland course that offers a real challenge with some brilliantly laid out holes. Well manicured with great greens. Highly recommended for a great value golf experience.

The course here designed by Jack Nicklaus is tough but a joy to play. Anybody feeling adventurous should try playing off the black Tees. This is a real monster off the black Tees longer than several pga tour course. Can't wait to play here again

Excellent course but exclusive. Expensive although do have offers this time of year. Limited menu in lounge area.

Absolutely class course, in immaculate condition. Clubhouse and facilities are second to none, members friendly and welcoming and food was of a really high standard.

Killeen castle is a great golf course and you will enjoy it , I would suggest you play it with a buggy or at least a electric trolley as the walks between tees and greens are quite long . Fairways are excellent and rough not too bad I just wonder how it will hold up in winter ? Make sure you have a shower as they are the best showers I have ever experienced in any golf club
