We had not been to Hasland Playhouse for years. We decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did! Daisy pulls it off was an excellent production worthy of any professional company. The front of house staff were also very friendly. We will be booking their next production for sure. Well done Hasland Playgoers.

What a beautiful, rare, little Victorian theatre. Enjoyed a charity pantomime production of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz delivered by the Community Players and supported by DHU Health Care, Medisys Global Solutions and Amethyst Property Solutions. Hosted by the Cub Scout Association, it was a fun night of charity and a rather affectionate and amusing adaptation of the classic tale. Community theatre at its best. Real people who dedicate their time to entertain others. This year's performance was dedicated to Carole Waterhouse who sadly passed away she was a cherished member of the Community Players. Well done all involved.

This is what local amateur dramatics should be. Great performance (The Anastasia Files), professionally presented, little theatre, no pretence of grandeur, no frills. I'll be a regular audience member from now on. Really enjoyable.
