I was a patient here and I used to really like this place but I don't anymore. Deidre and Justin are my favorites but one night I went to therapy and my mom and I found out that my group was ending and no one ever told us. I found out during my group. It was very upsetting bc I don't deal with changes very well. They told my mom they had plans to discharge me and my mom decided to just stop going bc she said that the communication here was bad .I was really mad that I had to find out that way.

One of the most frustrating feelings for a parent is feeling that your concerns are not heeded, especially by management. We brought our child to Kidz Therapy because of an autism diagnosis was limiting their ability to learn on par with age expectations. We specifically expressed that our child experienced challenges with change and was rather shy. I felt strongly that our child demonstrate a good rapport with the therapist only to find that a new therapist each week would treat our child. Each time, we were told that a therapist had left. Mind you, we were never notified on any change in therapists. I was concerned about what seemed to be a revolving door of therapists and wanted to speak to the owner but was never approached or contacted. Instead, what I received was a caustic remark from what I assume was the receptionist. She wouldn't even look at me to talk to me. I want to stress that I am not an unpleasant or confrontational individual but, when you place your confidence in people that don't even pretend to care, you will turn into Mama Bear. Needless to say, we are now with a different therapy company and have thus far been treated very professionally. Our child has since been flourishing. Reminder: Ultimately, if it doesn't feel right, it most often isn't.
I transferred my daughter here from another place where we were treated like just another patient. Since we have been coming to Kidz Zone my daughter has made a lot more progress and I feel like we are treated more like family instead of just a number. When we arrive we are always greeted very warmly by anyone that is in the front, including therapists and the owner herself. I feel that the therapists really care and take their time to get to know you and your family. The new therapy dog is an added bonus too.
I used to highly recommend this place. Our son has been in OT since he was 6. He s now 11. We transferred from Keystone to here. Things were great for a while. Communication here is terrible. One week you have your same therapist the next week you come in it s someone new and you were never notified. Very hard for children with special needs. Never told of revaluation and they decided to discharge our son without asking parents opinion and also our son had to find out during his group session that he would not be coming back anymore. Talk about a blow to a child with aspergers who doesn t deal well with changes.
The COTAs are wonderful here and are just the middle men. They themselves I would recommend just not this place of business.
The staff at Kidz Therapy Zone provides outstanding service to my children in speech and occupational therapy. There extended schedule allows flexibility with a demanding work and after school schedule. The office is beautiful. Staff is always concerned about speaking with me after the sessions so I know exactly what happened. Thanks Kidz Therapy Zone for caring.
We love Kidz Therapy Zone! The staff is always super friendly and are amazing with your kids. The office has more of a home feeling which helps my son feel more comfortable. We see Michele(Speech therapy) and Justin(Occupational Therapy) and both are absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!
As a current employee of KTZ, I know that we have a great staff of STs, OTs, and PT. We all work as a team to provide the best therapy for our patients. We all care for the kids and do all that we can to improve their skills. I am one the speech therapists and our speech team is the best around! We are always learning from each other and learning new skills to improve our patients speech and language. Working at place that feels more like family is a perk!
Nice facility, great staff. Best in the business. The staff is patient with my child and always communicates with me about the session. Couldn't ask for a more helpful provider.
Incredible. The therapists here are wonderful(even more so NOW). My daughter was born with health issues and her speech was very delayed and she has had a hard time and we have tried so many different therapy places. She is not just delayed for her age this was really complicated speech issues. Her therapist NOW are amazing, and they still continue to learn and take classes and training to learn more and more and be able to help other children with all sorts of issues. I love that they continue to learn and expand the education to fit the needa of other children. We have looked so hard to find a place like this. All the staff is wondeful here. They work with our busy schedule and are so helpful. I love how knowlegable they are and if i have a concern i am able to voice it and be heard. No place around can compare to kids therapy zone.(i have been to many others)They are truly a blessing!
Kidz Theraphy Zone has definitely changed my daughter's life. She has gone from a clingy child from when we first walked into the door to telling me to leave the room when her time is up . She has made tremendous improvement and loves all of her therapists. Her speech and hand coordination has greatly improved and her ability to do more things for herself. I truly cannot recommend this place enough. They truly care.
Kidz therapy zone, is a awesome place!! The staff are amazing !!My son has Michelle for speech therapy and Justin for Ot therapy! My son has been going to kidz therapy for 2 years now and it has been absolutely fabulous!! How well he has done in therapy, there no other place that I would want son to get therapy !! They are very helpful and treat my son as he is family !! Give them a try I guarantee you will not be disappointed in kidz therapy zone!!
This place has changed our lives significantly!! Before coming here, we were told our child will never be a good communicator. Thanks to Miss Kristen he now communicates and smiles more than we could have ever imagined. She is extremely knowledgable and able to find the strengths in a child despite their limitation or diagnosis and use those strengths to the child's benefit!
The atmosphere here is not of a doctors office, it is more of a family. The staff is great with the kids and families, having a different bond with everyone. You can see the real care and concern they have for everyone. I was shocked and extremely pleased when they were able to work with my flex schedule at work. I work long rotating hours and they still manage to accommodate my family. Keep up the great work Kidz Therapy Zone, you are a blessing to the community!
This place is absolutely amazing. All the stass is very friendly. I have a child in speech therapy here and this by far has been the beat place we have found. We have been to others aroubd the area. The speech therapists my daughter sees here are always learning and improving their own skills and education. My daughter has had a long road of very complicated speech issues and we have been so very furtanate to find this place. Most places were not able to help us the way we needed help and at kidz therapy zone her speech has improved so much, she has come so far!
I have been bringing my son to OT and Speech weekly for about a year and have had fantastic results as well as fantastic staff members up until lately with the changing in therapist weekly and no notifications of the change. My son is not a change child so he doesn t settle back in very well but overall I am pleased with this facility and their therapist.
I love this place they are great with my 3 kids two of my kids are special needs thank you for all that everyone has done for my family. Love this place
Excellent service very affectionate and kind therapists that I really love and especially my child has learned too much thanks to the love and dedication of these people.
Not a good place to work. Not honest about terms of pay and benefits (terms were changed after hire); therefore, not fairly compensated for time. Frequent no-shows/cancellations for which employees are not paid. A set number of hours were promised at hire, but rarely got paid more than 1/2 of the hours due to cancellations/no-shows and the way scheduling was done. Must get everything in writing. Dishonest and unethical practices.
