This was the only place I had friends at now in homeschooled and sad
There are lots of things for the kids to do. Unfortunately, it is very violent and no one monitors what goes on. We have seen a kid choke another kid, leaving red marks on his neck, and the staff have done nothing. Even when it was brought to their attention they just said that they had been having problems with that kid, but didn't do anything about it. We also saw a kid just punch another kid in the face a bunch of times, but the outlay of the play structure makes it almost impossible for anyone to stop it in less than a minute or two. So it's a convenient place to take multiple kids for activities, but it is very violent and the staff have shown multiple times that they do not care and that they will not do anything about any of it.
So today was the 2nd birthday party o had at O2B kids and we had a blast. Our theme was superheroes and with Halloween around the corner everyone had the opportunity to dress up on a costume or wear their favorite superhero shirt. Mr. Matt was my party host along side Ms. Desire. They did such an amazing job that I am sure all the kids went home filled w fun and tired. Thank you to Ms. Hailee for always being there to help plan and coordinate the fun. Thank you for allowing us to incorporate Spiderman into the fun. We had a blast O2B a kid again!!
I am not suggest this place to your kids , the teachers told me they are short hand but still get more students. My child 1 year old, they said 1 teacher can take care 6 kids, but she said she has 12 kids, she has one from other place helps her but she is not help at all. My kid get incident most everyday, they just sorry but do nothing. One day when i come i see one teacher spray cleaning bottle to clean the table, but i see 2 kids seat on the table, omg, i bet she spray touch in there face. I am so scary. Who i can talk with? I am so worry for my baby. Hope to find the good place soon
The supervision of children here is minimal at best. There are much better preschool options in Gainesville.
Two of our children have been attending O2B for the past 5 years. Every year I become more and more disappointed, disgusted and outraged at the changes being made. Rates continue to increase while educational opportunities are taken away from children. I feel fortunate that each of my children had/has at least one teacher that I am 100% comfortable with and that my children love. The down side is the very high turnover rate keeping these great teachers moving on to better opportunities. I am very disappointed in the cleanliness of the building as a whole. Most days it smells like dirty bathroom (or nasty diapers towards the classrooms)...and attempt is usually made to hide the smell rather than improve cleaning practices. Parking has also gotten worse because parents now have to take their children to extracurricular classes (that parents are forced to pay for whether their children attend or not). The big play area is also extremely dangerous because there is little to no supervision and the kids run wild (real life Lord of the flies). Ultimately I can't wait for the day where my children leave O2B and never return. The ONLY reason I don't move my children is because they do have a pretty good educational structure.
My family had a very good experience here. Any issues were dealt with promptly when brought to the attention of the directors. My son always wanted to go here and had a very good time. Excellent option for summer camp and after school.
My only criticism is that they need to do more to retain certain employees. They lost several people over the course of membership that were quite remarkable and it was a loss for the organization.
I am 15 now and I have gone here from birth to when I started middle school. This is the best place to leave you children if you hate them. The kids can experience an unintrupted anarchy like scenario but the staff (purple shirt ppl) are sometimes corrupt and manipulate the kids to do their work. For example if a child wishes to enjoy a cookie but are low on cash they can spend an hour cleaning the enitre cafe for a someone in staff to give them a $0.50 cookie they buy from Publix. The entire place is filthy and only has a few actual castodians the rest of the staff are collage students with I'd assume no training that will work there for 2 months at most. The environment teaches harsh things to children at a young age, for example hand to hand scissors combat. And don't expect to have anything desiered by others for more than 10 minites because someone will steal it, I've lost more than $100s worth of beyblades and Legos. I'd keep a 100 meter distance away from the property and I'd keep my kids if I had any a safe 200.
My child enjoys the super center. Teachers are front desk are kind to parents and the children. My biggest complaint here is the cleanliness. It is very disappointing and it gets us to the point of cancelling our membership.
The staff here is very nice but there are a lot of kids. But have no regrets and once again the staff is amazing
My 7-year-old daughter has been enjoying the summer camp very much.
She moved to the city of Gainesville about 3 months ago. Learning English as a second language, she has lost her confidence and has been scared to talk.
Once the camp started, she told me that she liked being there ,and that her counselor was always kind and that she found other campers were friendly. Experiencing lots of new activities and fun field trips, she is now enjoying and also making herself more comfortable listening and understanding English.
I am grateful that my daughter could experience summer camp at O2B.
The facility is so nice and the staff is so kind and helpful!
