I love bringing my kids to see the Dr. and staff at Kid Care Dental. I am always able to sit with my child as the work is done. I would recommend this dental office to all my family and friends.

My son had a filling and got some laser treatment for gums that were grown in his tooth removed. They did an awesome job and he was fine walking out of there! It says a lot when your kids love their dentist! Been bring my son here since he was three and he s 11 now!
Great customer service! Everyone that works here are very caring and professional. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that we had to wait longer then usual, but we were late due to construction on route 95 and I'm sure they had other appointments they needed to take first. My son has ASD and basically screams everytime we have to go, but they are all super sweet and still manage to clean my son's teeth with care and lots of patience! We travel about an hour to get there too because they are so great at what they do. It's obvious that they care and it shows!
It was easy to schedule an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. The staff was friendly and gave me as much information as they could ahead of time. The appointment seemed a bit rushed along with the procedure after. It felt like everyone was kind of running around. I know that parents aren't allowed back but it made me uncomfortable leaving him with people I barely knew. During the consultation there were a bunch of people listening to his story and the trouble my son has been having. Dr. Kaplan was very upfront in trying to get correct info and everyone openly discussed treatment. It was nice to know there were many qualified professionals all paying attention. Dr. Kaplan knows a lot about tongue tie and I appreciate that I live so close to someone that knows what they're doing. There is not a lot of resources for parents with kids with dysphagia and Dr. Kaplan referred me to a feeding specialist he recommended. It was also helpful that he gave me a number I could text with any questions without having to go through an office. He doesn't have to do that so it shows he really cares about outcomes and that parents have correct info on how to care for their kids afterwards.
Our daughter has ASD and lots if sensory issues. Dr. Htet is SO patient with her and waits for her to be comfortable. She is able to give her the dental care she needs which us not an easy task. Her ability to make my daughter feel comfortable makes a very big difference. I definitely recommend!
Had Lingual frenectomy done on my 10y old. Very pleased with Dr Kaplan's skill and attitude. Highly recommend him.

The dentist is very professional and the dental hygienist, Kristen was fabulous with my daughter. Kristen put her at ease and my daughter is terrified of the dentist office. I would highly recommend this place for children.
My daughter was initially very anxious and she's done poorly at other dental offices. I was shocked and so happy with how well she did here today. They were pleasant, no pressure, gave different options for treatment and were knowledgeable about her medical condition! I can't recommend enough!!
Went here about 3 years ago for my sons first dental checkup. Was told he had a cavity that was so bad he would need to go to the hospital to have the procedure done. It was in all going to cost me about $3000 because it would not be fully covered by my insurance since it would need to be done at the hospital. They tried to tell me there was no way to get the work done in the office because he was young and would not sit still and cavity was so deep that I would need it done asap. I decided to pay to go somewhere else for a second opinion ( my insurance only covers one consult a year) because something did not feel right, we always brush our teeth when needed and he was young and the procedure would include sedation and not eating the night before. When I asked for the xrays they were not able to provide clear ones, only blurry emails. The doctor I went to for the second opinion( in norwood) was able to do the cavity in less then 15 minutes and with NO novicane! No hospital needed and it ended up costing me less then $40 because I chose to get a white filling, otherwise it could have been free. My son also did not even make a peep in the new doctor's care. Please just think twice before you take your little one there.
Brought my then 3 month old to them for a tongue tie. I told them I didn't want to do it if the insurance didn't cover it because she had no problem nursing it was just pinching me. They told me the insurance was accepted and that she was all set. I had no problem with the Dr. In fact he was pleasant and reassuring. Well it ended up months later that I received a 1,300 dollar bill in the mail and when I called to figure it out they told me that they never said I was approved, and that they can't tell if I was approved until a few days later....which I was not. They proceeded to tell me there was nothing they can do for me and hung up. I was outraged on how they handle things and that I now have a giant bill under my name that I can't afford.
Kid Care Dental provides great service and are professional, I recommend them to everyone. The dentists do a great job, Debbie and Ronda at the front desk are nice. My boys are happy with the service provided by Kid Care Dental.

Kid Care Dental was an excellent dental practice. Kid Care Dental was a professional and friendly dental office. We have moved out of the area but are thankful we chose that dental office while we lived nearby.

The front desk is phenomenal she always is sooo very nice greets me and my children in and always has a smile on her face .. Great environment always clean ! My children absolutely love and enjoy being there ! My brain tends to be everywhere especially with 4 little ones so I love how they keep me updated and remind me about upcoming appointments. The workers there just make me feel so very welcomed and my kids feel comfortable there , that makes it even better for me because I would want my children to feel good about the dentist and they do for the first time . Ive had bad expierence with other dental places and kid care dental is by far hands down the BEST place to be ! I always leave there tge same way as I walked in HAPPY ! I would WITHOUT a doubt recommend this place to anyone !
Just brought my 18-month old daughter for her first dentist appointment and was mortified. I m surprised this is a kid friendly dentist, the staff was very frigid and unwelcoming. Although they were speedy, almost too speedy, they failed to provide better customer service. I advised the assistant that my daughter is extremely scared of loud noises, as we walked to our area, I noticed there were several unoccupied rooms, yet they still sat us right next to another kid having work done. She was immediately in fear, which should not be the case for your first dentist visit. Immediately the dentist came in and told us to basically strap her down, as though she was some animal. Not even for a vaccine have I ever had to hold my daughter down with 3 other people while she was kicking and screaming in fear. Not a pleasant experience at all. The doctor didn t seem to care to answer or listen to my questions as she quickly made the decision that I needed to stop breastfeeding because as she stated, in her opinion, there s no value after 1 year old . Had she shown a bit more empathy, she d understand that sometimes breastfeeding is a comfort thing just as is a pacifier or a bottle or a thumb. It s an emotional connection between mother and daughter that she felt quick to judge and tear apart.
Bottom line, not going back, nor bringing my daughter to succumb to that kind of trauma again.
They are so kind and patient with children with anxiety. I appreciated the extra care they took of my son. I highly recommend kid care dental. As a whole family we've going there for about 40 years!
An amazing team. From the front desk to the assistants. My daughter went to Dr. Kaplin with a known lip tie and he discovered a tongue tie also. He was very informative with what was going on, what the process was going to be like and explained the healing process. He also realized my daughter favored one side of her head and seemed to have an upper body situation and recommended me to a chiropractor for her.(Something her own Dr didnt even catch!) Such a sweet Dr and made me and my daughter feel at ease (which is a hard feat in itself) Highly recommended!
I reached out on Monday for a lip-tie consultation for my 19m old daughter - I was able to secure an appt the next day as a result of a cancellation! The office is friendly and clean - even a private room off the waiting area for consultation and prep prior to the procedure. I was in + out of there in an hour, including waiting time, consultation and procedure. Dr. Kaplan reviewed my daughter's history extensively, explained everything which led to both lip tie + tongue tie corrections, answered all my questions and even provided his personal # should I have any questions or concerns following the procedure.
They are great with kids...my daughter was very nervous about her cleaning appointment , was in tears and refused to go in.. but the hygentist and Dentist were so kind and were able to calm her down and before I knew it she was smiling and happy and left with a bunch of prizes and balloon shaped as a giraffe. This is the best kid dentist around no doubt.
My 5 year old son had a sedation appointment scheduled which was confirmed several times including the morning of the appointment. Preparation for this visit required for me to take a sick day at work, and for my son in school. Moreover, he could not have anything by mouth starting midnight. We were on the way to the dentist when I received a phone call that Dr. Htet Htet called in sick and our appointment has been cancelled. It came literally 15 minuted prior to the appointment. I was shocked they actually could do it and that they did not let me know earlier (moreover, confirmed appointment that morning) or had no emergency staff to cover the shift. I don't know how they expect their customers to be ok with such treatment and the way they disrespect customers' time and efforts in preparation for the appointments. I believe there is a common policy for customers regarding a 24-hour notice in case of a missing appointment, so I can't understand why they think it is ok to let their customers know about appointment cancellation 15 minuted prior to it. I am more than disappointed in this practice and Dr. Htet Htet specifically. My recommendation is to stay away from this place!

(For those who are complaining about insurance, the office very clearly explains to you how to call your insurance company to insure that any procedures are covered. In fact, they emailed us a PDF handout of what to do. They were very professional and helpful about this issue).

It is SAD that after years of my son attending this dentist I have to change the office due to the lack of respect and concern from both Aisha and Andrea. I hope their attitudes are addressed before this happens to other loyal patients.
Please be wary of your decision to bring your child here. After taking all 3 of my children to this office I am mortified to find out that they threatened 2 of my children while they were having procefures done. My 4 year old daughter cried hysterically when I told her she had another appointment, crying out " I don't want to go to jail and be all alone and miss my family", i asked immediately what prompted her to say that and her response left me sick to stomache! She told me the dentist, I am assuming Dr. Htet (she is the only one she sees) told her the police were waiting for her in the waiting room due to her moving. My child was told the police would be called on her because at 4 years old she moved while getting a cavity filled! After hearing his sister my 6 year old son tells me that she did that to him as well, he said as she was working its started to hurt so he moved a little and she asked him if he wanted her to call the police and firefighters to come hold him down so she could finish the work! Please keep in mind the only reason they do not want you in the room is to hide something!
My 7 year old loves going to the dentist. He actually gets excited for it so when I told him to get ready yesterday for a dentist appointment it was no different. He had sealants put on his back molars and I waited in the car due to Covid. When he was brought to the car I was told he did it went well and that he said it hurt but it was probably that he had to keep his mouth open a long time. My son said whatever it was I hated it! I laughed it off but in the car he said She had to use a laser to help the stuff stuck to my teeth and she said it wouldn t hurt but it did. The. He told me he was making sounds of pain and discomfort when the dentist or hygienist (I m not sure who performs this procedure) said in a mean voice ENOUGH! so he said I stopped but it made me want to cry. My son would not make this up and is not a liar. Needless to say I was shocked and do not plan on returning. To scare an already scared child at a pediatric dentist is unforgivable.
After researching where to take my 1 month old son for his tongue tie, (our personal decision). We where turned away and unheard by numerous professionals in and around Boston Medical Hospitals. We researched and found this place. Dr. Kaplan and his staff are professional. They make you feel comfortable, they make you feel heard and the procedure for my son took no time and the recovery was remarkable. If you have questions or concerns about your childs tongue tie or lip tie call dr. Kaplan. I cannot thank them enough! They will help guide you in the best Direction. Thank you!
Thank you Dr. Htet and her assistant to come out on a Saturday ! My son got elbowed at a basketball game and broke his front tooth . Dr. Htet and her assistant were awesome . She was able to calm my kid and me . Dr. Htet was explaining to me the steps and precautions as they work on his tooth. We have been coming to see Dr. Htet since he was 6. He is a happy teen after the filling!
I am a pediatrician. My children have been going to this office for 15 years, and I have always been satisfied. Today, I was reassured by their level of coronavirus precautions. Patient wait in their car until called in for appt. Staff & patients are socially distanced until the cleaning, clinical staff are wearing N95 masks, surgical masks, goggles & face shields. Rooms have germicidal air purifiers running all day. After each patient, the room's air & surfaces are disinfected for 10 minutes. Dentist called me after visit to discuss the visits.
