Can't argue with a good cup of Green Mountain coffee! I was a little disappointed, however, having come directly from Ben & Jerry's HQ not too far away where I got the full B&J experience... plant tour , small free sample, gift shop, etc., I was a little confused when I walked into Green Mountain HQ's visitor shop. I wasn't even totally sure if I was at their actual HQ. I had to Google it lol there's a few plaques on the wall you can read on your own, but otherwise, just a coffee shop.

This is a fun little place to stop. The town and company did an amazing job of renovating the old train station. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and ther build your own coffee pod sampler is pretty cool.

Stopped here on our rambles home and talked with a woman who helped point us in the right direction. She suggested we take the Lincoln pass over the mountain for the best views. She was right! So well done excellent advise.

This is a great place to stop at in any season and it's more than just a coffee shop. If you look closely at one of the more recent Green Mountain commercials, you will even spot a quick clip of this building!

If you love Green Mountain Coffee, this is your spot! They sell many flavors of this delicious beverage. You can also purchase k-cup, coffee machines and bagged java.

The building that this shop is located in is kept up quite nicely and so unique. There are ample spots to sit with your drink.

This building has a lot of handy brochures on the area attractions, so it's worth perusing them if you haven't thoroughly planned out your visit.

I enjoyed reading about the history of the area and learning about the movies that have filmed nearby.

Another neat attraction to check out in this area is the Ben and Jerry's Factory tour.

I visit Northern VT and the Stowe/Waterbury area several times a year and always end up here, the location and ambience are fantastic. Whether it be coffee or espresso the menu is expansive and it is hard to go wrong between one of their signature coffee blends or a VT themed latte with maple syrup. Everything available iced, a huge bonus in the warm months. A fun place to take a break from driving or relax after skiing or hiking.

I don't know how this spot doesn't already have more Google reviews, but I'm glad to be the first! Admittedly, we overlooked this little gem for quite a long time, despite living very nearby. It's tucked back, behind main street (Rt. 2) Waterbury, inside the Amtrak station. Let that not be a deterrent. In fact, this is part of the appeal. In our age of classic, inspiring old public buildings going to waste (this has been happening to great train stations for far longer than the current time period, but..) at the hands of the demolition crews, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters residence in this building serves a dual purpose: providing a great cafe/visitor center, and preserving a golden age train station in Vermont.

The staff is well trained and courteous. Great job, and keep up the great work!

Excellent maple-infused coffee drinks and a nice visitor's center, but would have been great to have someone there explicitly to teach people about Green Mountain. Staff was there only to run the cafe.

Just like a regular cafe, except that they provide some samples (need to ask for one) and special blend for the day. Also a bit cheaper than typical cafe around. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Not really super unique but still a decent coffee stop.

Great experience! We were in town to check out a few other tourist attractions but decided to start out day with caffeine. If they have anything on the menu with maple syrup, get it. I had a maple chai and it was the best chai tea I've had. You can also load up a k-cup gift box with a variety of brews. Great service with very welcoming staff.

Grab a cup of coffee from the roaster itself. Great atmosphere and food. Relaxed environment that you are able to work in. Give the quiche and specialty coffee drinks a try, you won't be disappointed.

I am not a coffee person but solely based on my families experience GMC is one of if not the best coffee shops in the Waterbury area. Their name is quite well known and the massive complex behind the train station is there for a reason. They make good coffee and always have. GMC doesn t need much more praise than it s gotten already, but I figured I should pay my respects to one of the legendary businesses in Waterbury.

I've never been to a Green Mountain Coffee place, so I wasn't sure what to order. I asked the girl at the counter for suggestions, and she seemed very taken aback by that question. Regardless, I ended up trying some sort of blueberry coffee. It tasted great and caffeinated me, so I was happy.

The coffee and pastries were delicious. The free samples were a nice touch and the staff was helpful. The center also offered some history and suggestion of places to visit when in the area. We came as tourists the first day but as customers the next. Also my wife says do yourself a favor and try the maple supreme with blueberry coffee.

This is a "red neck" version of a coffee shop.

This is a "red neck" version of a coffee shop.
Stick with simple drinks and its not bad.
Dont ask them to figure out a Latte or anything like that.
It actually quite comical.
Whatever you get its never the same twice.

Friendly place, samples available for tasting. I tried an iced blueberry, that tasted amazing and the pumpkin spice. Both delicious! Nice area outside to sit, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Biked 20 miles there. Good ride on route 2. Low traffic with beautiful views of camels hump and the Adirondacks. Arrived to GM coffee roaster in Waitsfield. Had a great breakfast of coffee , no doubt very good, with delicious chiche and a cranberry walnut muffin. Ready for the ride back. Love the staff, looking forward to next week's return.

It's a pretty location in a historic building, but there's nothing really special about it beyond that. If you're just looking to get a cup of coffee our visit a cafe, it's a good spot.

Typical big company cheaping out. Not worth the side trip to stop. We used to be able to do multiple tastings before buying a cup, that's gone. Also they got rid of the big display where you could pick multiple flavor pods to purchase. Now it's just a walk in and buy a cup, or box of pods which are priced higher than the supermarket.

A must stop for coffee lovers. This is high quality coffee for good prices. I had a maple latte- and I don't like a lot of sweet or strong chemical flavors that you usually get in one of these. I can honestly say- It was GREAT! Being from Portland- I consider myself a coffee snob. This place will not disappoint. It's located in an old train station with plenty of seating to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.

Mediocre coffee from the people who made the kuerig machine. Makes sense that they would have subpar coffee. The visitors center is pretty cool with some meusum like kiosks and live coffee plants. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The visitors center is also a functioning train stop which is pretty cool.
But again the actual coffee isn't that good.
