Every single wine is absolutely amazing! We came here without knowing anything about the place or the winemaker, and after spending some time tasting and touring, know for sure that Ryan Crane has a gift for wine making. He has answered his calling. If you are in the area you should come here!!

A must-visit winery in SoDo! This place has it all and I love making excuses to get down there. It's always my first stop when I visit the SoDo wineries.
The wine itself is consistently exceptional (and reasonably priced, especially for the quality). This is one of the places I recommend to wine snobs and new wine drinkers alike.
The venue itself is artistic, trendy, and welcoming and provides options to sit/stand at the wine bar, sit at the couches, or head to the back where you can watch the wine-making process through large glass panes. The designer did a wonderful job creatively incorporating wine into the design, using parts of barrels to make hanging lights, clocks, art pieces, etc. The entire long back wall is worthy of being featured in an art magazine. You have to see it to understand, but it's essentially a set of circles (made from wine barrels with the top/bottom removed) that gradually transitions from tightly packed and organized circles on one end to larger, disorganized circles (scattered barrel pieces) on the other end. Like I said, you really have to see it to understand.

The winemaker and his staff are exceptional. Not only are they incredibly skilled, passionate, and knowledgeable about their wine, but theyre also passionate about people. They want to make wine drinking an enjoyable, social experience and love interacting with the tasters. Ryan Crane, the winemaker, goes above and beyond to get to know the people and to share the winemaking process with them. He winemaking approach is something he wants to share with everyone and is something he is excited to talk about. He also lights up when he talks about the many fun events kerloo is planning (which are always a blast!). His employees are very friendly as well (try to talk to Stephen if you get a chance).

I highly recommend Kerloo! It's great for everything from a date to a family visit, birthday party, girls time, or a random weekend afternoon.
Cheers!

Hey all! This place can be fun, however if you want QUALITY wine you will need to go elsewhere. We used to LOVE Ryan's wines, however they do not age at all. Every bottle we have had from 2015 on has been a huge disappointment. An Upland Grenache was bitter, the Tempranillo has nothing left and the Cab which was $57...has zero nose, zero structure and zer everything. Really frustrated!

About Kerloo

Kerloo Cellars - A Winery that Bottles Palate-Challenging Wines

Kerloo Cellars is a winery that has been making waves in the wine industry for its unique approach to winemaking. The company prides itself on bottling palate-challenging wines that everyday consumers are not accustomed to drinking. This is what sets Kerloo apart from other wineries and keeps people coming back vintage after vintage.

The company was founded by Ryan Crane, who started his career in the wine industry as a sommelier. He fell in love with the art of winemaking and decided to pursue it full-time. In 2007, he started Kerloo Cellars with a mission to create wines that were different from anything else on the market.

Kerloo's philosophy is simple: they believe that great wine starts in the vineyard. They work closely with their growers to ensure that only the best grapes are used in their wines. They also use minimal intervention during the winemaking process, allowing the natural flavors of the grapes to shine through.

One of Kerloo's most popular wines is their Syrah, which has been described as "bold and complex." It's made using grapes from some of Washington State's top vineyards and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. The result is a wine that is rich and full-bodied with notes of blackberry, plum, and spice.

Another standout wine from Kerloo is their Grenache Blanc, which has been praised for its "bright acidity" and "crisp finish." It's made using grapes from Boushey Vineyard in Yakima Valley and fermented using native yeasts. The result is a wine that is refreshing and perfect for pairing with seafood or salads.

In addition to their unique approach to winemaking, Kerloo also places a strong emphasis on building relationships with their customers. They believe that the relationship between winemakers and wine lovers is a crucial part of their business and their lives. This is why they are dedicated to taking extra special care of those who support their winemaking dream.

If you're looking for something different when it comes to your next bottle of wine, look no further than Kerloo Cellars. Their palate-challenging wines are sure to impress even the most discerning drinkers out there!
