I met with Kyle Russell at Keri Shull over 3 years ago when I was looking to understand how to put myself in the best position to buy a house. Even though I told him I wouldn t be buying for at least two years because I was in school (meaning he had almost no short-term incentive to meet with me) he immediately responded and took me seriously from the beginning. We set up a meeting, during which he gave me a full debriefing on the home buying process, gave me contacts for loan officers, and put me on a path to being able to buy a house later on down the line. After our initial meeting, Kyle routinely reached out to see how I was doing and was always there to answer questions as I got closer to being ready to buy. About two years later, I was ready to buy and Kyle was right on it. We found the perfect place through the listing search he set up, but I was concerned about winning it in a competitive market. But Kyle, and his new Partner Agent Paul, gave me great advice on how to make my offer competitive and it was eventually accepted! As far as agents go, Kyle and Paul were fantastic - they handled everything, weren't pushy, made sure I understood every tactic in offer writing, and overall were just very honest, communicative, and nice. Now I am a first time homeowner in DC and I would recommend them to anyone looking in the DC, VA, or MD areas to buy or sell!

Super happy with our experience using Amy and Abby. They showed us many properties virtually and on short notice and were always a quick text/phone call/email away. Loved their responsiveness, and confident the entire reason we were able to get our house remotely was through their hard (and efficient) work and constant communication. Highly recommend!

We were extremely blessed to have found Jeanne Scott as our purchasing agent. She masterfully helped us find the right house in the right neighborhood for the right price. Despite our complex situation, (moving from the West Coast to the East Coast), Jeanne was abundantly responsive and patient, and she made us feel like VIP clients, every step of the way.

In short, she was always on our side working to make our home purchase as simple and successful as possible. The best part about working with Jeanne was that she was always more focused on answering our questions, giving us good advice, and finding the best home rather than focusing on the transaction. I will be actively referring Jeanne to anyone that is needing assistance with their real estate needs.

Kyle Russell was awesome to work with looking for a house! My husband and I looked at houses for months and Kyle was patient and listened to our needs. We ended up submitting an offer on a house and after the inspection, we decided to back out and ended up completely pivoting our criteria. Kyle was so supportive the entire time. We landed on a place in Alexandria and Kyle helped us craft a competitive offer and we won! We have been in our house for 3 months now and love it so much. It s great to have an agent who truly cares about his clients dining the right home for their life! I highly recommend Kyle. Oh and he is so responsive!!

In summary, I absolutely don t think we would have gotten our house if we had any realtor other than Rachel Morrison.

We had been looking without urgency through most of 2020 and Rachel was patient with that. She was incredibly responsive throughout the process. Each time we went to see a house she had done pre-work and was able to describe the history of the house and interest from others to help us determine if it was the house for us, and how we would craft our offer. (I had no idea there could be so many strategies.) One day a house came up on MLS as coming soon. She sent it to us and quickly blocked off appointment time for the first viewing day, and thank goodness because it was fully booked for three days before even hitting the market. They canceled appointments and never did an open house by the second day. When we did visit, we knew was thee house. Rachel worked behind the scenes to advise us in putting forward our best competitive offer, (which included a non-advertised unless asked mandatory free rent back clause). She understood how anxious we were the days leading up to the decision and gave us regular updates. Her constant communication with the other realtor helped us get into the final negotiation round, and we were able to get the house for less than the highest offer.

I just felt like Rachel was almost as personally invested as we were through this journey. If we had been with an agent less responsive, we would not have been able to see the house. Had we been with one not as proactive or experienced, we would not have gotten the house.

Rachel then sold our previous house for 10% over asking, which was 12% over what we thought was the high end of what we could get, in just two days on the market. It was spring of 2021 so the market was really hot, but the Keri Shull team did an excellent job marketing and managing the offers coming in.

I hope we don t have to buy or sell again for a few decades, but when we do, hopefully Rachel will answer our call.

We worked with Libby Bish and Rafael Melo who are the dynamic duo at the Keri Shull team. They were fantastic to work with; we put them through the paces, visiting more than 40 properties over nearly 7 months (I know, we were a tough client), but they did so cheerfully, helpfully and professionally. Given we had so much time with them, we got to know them both as wonderful people, who were extremely knowledgeable about researching and finding the right home. Ultimately it worked and was a terrific experience. While we probably won't be buying another home soon, we will not hesitate recommending them (and the Keri Shull agency) to anyone who wants outstanding partners in their home search (or sale).
