In summary, I absolutely don t think we would have gotten our house if we had any realtor other than Rachel Morrison.

We had been looking without urgency through most of 2020 and Rachel was patient with that. She was incredibly responsive throughout the process. Each time we went to see a house she had done pre-work and was able to describe the history of the house and interest from others to help us determine if it was the house for us, and how we would craft our offer. (I had no idea there could be so many strategies.) One day a house came up on MLS as coming soon. She sent it to us and quickly blocked off appointment time for the first viewing day, and thank goodness because it was fully booked for three days before even hitting the market. They canceled appointments and never did an open house by the second day. When we did visit, we knew was thee house. Rachel worked behind the scenes to advise us in putting forward our best competitive offer, (which included a non-advertised unless asked mandatory free rent back clause). She understood how anxious we were the days leading up to the decision and gave us regular updates. Her constant communication with the other realtor helped us get into the final negotiation round, and we were able to get the house for less than the highest offer.

I just felt like Rachel was almost as personally invested as we were through this journey. If we had been with an agent less responsive, we would not have been able to see the house. Had we been with one not as proactive or experienced, we would not have gotten the house.

Rachel then sold our previous house for 10% over asking, which was 12% over what we thought was the high end of what we could get, in just two days on the market. It was spring of 2021 so the market was really hot, but the Keri Shull team did an excellent job marketing and managing the offers coming in.

I hope we don t have to buy or sell again for a few decades, but when we do, hopefully Rachel will answer our call.
