Kenworth Sales Company Review

We are leasing a truck from Jeff kettle at paclease and he has been absolutely amazing and so has sandra

Just bought a new truck. The salesman Zac was very knowledgeable and helpful, he wanted to be sure they met all my needs. Customer service is rare now days, but this place has it.

Got to the terminal and turn off the truck when I started it again it wouldn t go into gear & flashed (1)(N)(F) & the Red (Service) light beside the gear selector flashes usually I would turn off the truck for 10min & it would work again but not this time

So I got my truck towed to KW Sales 11:00 7/25/19
I called 08:12 7/26/19 to check what was wrong with it spoke to Mitchell at service desk she says the problem is the clutch and that they ware gonna run it tru warranty to see if they would cover it

I called again 11:25
she says they won t coverd it cuz lack of grease on the clutch I guess she neglected to tell me about the grease part

Whent to KW check on the truck progress 15:00
Just found out that the truck still doesn t go into gear after they diagnosed it and told me that the clutch was the problem now it has a brand new clutch and still wont go into gear therefore the clutch nor the lack of grease was the problem to begin with

Guy at service counter says is probably the Transmition Control Module and he says their still not sure if that s what s causing the truck not to go into gear so their consulting with EATON to find the problem

Seams to me like there still diagnosing the truck and told me that the problem was the clutch to charge me 4k$ it sounds to me that the problem of the truck not going into gear is covered under warranty because is a technology issue it has nothing to do with the clutch

Good thing I whent to check on the truck cuz I would off never found out that the truck is still not going into gear

Today is Friday so if they re not able to get it to go into gear today they won t work on it again till Monday that means total 5 days without work

So Monday Sarah calls me in the morning to let me know they finally finished their diagnostic and found that the ECA Electronic Clutch Actuator was the problem not the clutch or the lack of grease so everything was cover under warranty so she told md me I have zero balance and I can come pickup the truck when I come to pickup the truck Michelle calls Sarah to confirm I have zero balance before I can take the truck ok zero balance confirm so I m outoff there and the truck is working great so far

Unfortunately Sarah had lie to me today I got charge with the 4k$ so I called Sarah imidietly to see what is going on I will update as soon as I get some info

Had a breakdown on a Sunday morning in Spanish Fork Canyon. Chuck in the shop answered my call immediately. He knew what the problem was from a picture, and had a hook on the way before I could even get myself a soda pop by the Little Acorn.

Chuck went above and beyond to keep me on schedule.

He even got Johnny in the shop to drop what he was doing on a Sunday, to be at the shop, to meet my truck for an immediate repair. Johnny whipped that beast back in shape with his machine magic, and had me rolling in a few hours.

Chuck and Johnny are amaze-balls!!!

Great place to get parts for kenworth trucks, they are willing to help find anything you need, also very quick service. If you need something they don't have they are very helpful in getting you the part you need ASAP!

I have to say I was very nervous about buying my first truck having been to paccar down the street and getting the run around. I came here and told Burt what had happened he took care of me went above and beyond didn t pressure me in to anything and Sophia was just as awesome 20/10 I ll absolutely be a life long customer you guys rock!!!!

Good old boys club, Spencer hides in his office while refusing to follow through with contracts. Even with a full service lease, every thing they touch will be billed back to you. The maintenance part of any lease is solely at Spencer's discretion. The Kenworth legacy aligned with a liar and a crook, but a crook with tenure.

Great group of people in a beautiful facility. Will go back again!

Made an appointment to fix truck, they promised they would get right on it. After my truck sat for 4 days with nothing done, I finally picked it up and got it fixed elsewhere. Decided to give them benefit of the doubt and tried again a month later. Truck has sat for 3 days and they still can t even give me an estimated day they will start repair. Why would I keep making appointments if they can t fulfill their agreement?!

The staff is super nice and understanding!
I always feel welcome there.

I only go there to get repairs on my worthless kenworth that's 3 years old so luckily enough I'm only in there every few months for warranty work. Anyone looking for a new truck might I suggest anything not paccar related. Unless of course you're looking for extra downtime.

Wonderful job Chuck!! One of my steer tires got a big chunk taken out while back in Mississippi, called Chuck for help, he sent me the address to the nearest tire shop and made sure to tell them I was coming. I didn t have to wait long and was back working in no time. Whenever I have a problem, Chuck is there to always help. Thanks guys

We frequently take our trucks in for warranty repair and further engine diag and end up with great results in a timely manner. Charlie is very friendly and keeps in contact frequently . Would recommend to anyone!

All around these guys are great. Parts, service and sales.

This is where I got my truck from and I depend on it every day and I'll let me tell you what these guys are amazing they go above and beyond when it comes to service and just top-notch people here I love my truck that if they do such a wonderful job and I couldn't say anything more about it other than it's just just the wonderful great experience so if you're in the trucking business and you need service or sales this is the place to come

This kenworth place is the best I come here for my parts and I live in El Paso, TX.....yes I have a kenworth there but its not as good they never seem to have the parts on hand always telling me "we have to order them" ....I come through salt lake city almost every week....I come to this kenworth and get my parts 99.7% of the time they r in stock....I buy my filters here and any other parts I need I either go home or change the part in a rest area along the way...saves time and money...very nice persons here very helpful and knowledgeable....thanks kenworth of salt lake city, Utah

Keep up the great work

The sales side is great especially Zak, buy trucks from him. I've had some issues with the service department in the past, but they seem to have corrected those issues. Dennis the foreman did a great job communicating and getting the truck fixed. It was not a straight forward repair and they still managed to troubleshoot and repair within a few days.

How do you look for a cold leak while the truck is warm. Told them exactly where it was, $430 got the truck back, very next morning was leaking from the same Damn spot.

this is just horrible. I have a truck needed bad in my busiest time of year and my truck has been there over a month just waiting on a fuel pump for this kenworth. its a warranty deal but should it really take over a month for a kenworth trucking company to get a simple thing like fuel pump? the new story now is that it finally showed up but was smashed in transit so who knows how much longer wait I have. wish there was another kenworth dealer near by

Had an experience recently where I was given the wrong part due to the guy that was picking the part. But i went back and they gave me the wrong part a second time even after I showed them the exact part off the truck I needed.

The only thing nice about this place is there parking lot!!!! service is straight up rude

What a wonderful experience at THIS Kenworth location. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable!! Tim is a great mechanic who cared enough to help me understand the problem and resolution. Now I know what to do moving forward and what to avoid doing. The drivers lounge is comfortable and clean. Michelle went above and beyond to assist me. I was really angry and disgruntled with this kenworth truck and most shops along the way, these guys here help easy the journey and gave me reason to smile. Thanks

Went in to buy a $16 part, got charge that and $270 for something I didn't buy... And from the morning til the next day they couldn't get my truck service done.

I am writing in regards to Jessica Kierstead the rental coordinator at West Valley City, UT. We would like to thank her and have you know she is one of the most efficient person we have ever worked with. We had a truck break down in Elko, NV and the driver had a container on for the port in Oakland, CA. When we have a container load of Pork on and we don t get to the port on time, we have to fly the container overseas. There were no rentals in Elko, Nv. She worked with her driver to get it to Elko and our Load planners to coordinate the two drivers together. Worked with our insurance personal to be able to rent to us and everything went so smooth we have made it to the port on time.
