Kentucky Freightliner Trucks Review

I've been here four days and all they have done is input my truck number in there system. Everyday they tell me they will pull it in a bay tomorrow and they don't. If you breakdown close this shop pay to get towed to the next closest shop you will save time and money

My truck sat at a certified freightliner service center for a week in Atlanta for all check engine and DEF light flashing. $3500.00 and 400 miles down road and they're back on. Took it back and they kept another week. 100 miles up the road lights on again. I made it to Lexington KY and found Lexington freightliner. I don't know where to start. From customer service to explaining what they were doing and giving updates was exceptional. A day later because they had to order a part, my truck was fixed. I was skeptical for about the 1st 500 miles but truck runs great. Josh even called me after I left to say he wanted to just say goodbye, good luck and come back. These guys came through for us and fixed our air conditioner on a short notice and with less than an hour of pre waiting!
They were all very personal, professional and honest!
It would be great if other FREIGHTLINER shops could follow their lead!!

Not sure about the repair side, but I did go and price a new truck and I met with him on two occasions. We didn't get a complete truck price, because there were some things he needed to talk with the factory about. He was suppose to call me when he found out and it has been more than two months with no word. I figure for the kind of money I was going to spend that I would hear something, but no I haven't and I'm not going to call him. There are other dealers. I would like to deal local, but if this is what the service level is here I'll go somewhere else.

Its a smaller shop, however EXCELLENT customer service. We had a coolant leak at night, under a load. LOVES wouldn't even touch it, after waiting 2 hours.
Anyway these guys fixed us right up, they took us right in, replaced the hose, and we were back rolling in an hour. Helpful! Can only recommend.

Worst experience I've ever had. The service manager (Mike Ratliff) has no business being in the position he is in. He never calls when he says he will (4 promised calls. None made) Where is the customer service. I was promised an estimate which has NEVER been given. Was told the vehicle was finished 3 days ago but they still can't tell me what the final bill is. I will not use this business again. Think twice before you use them!

Excellent. I am delivering a truck for them, and Bill wasn't going to be in office when I arrived, but left keys on his desk for me,, and I met another guy in parking lot, who kindly went in and got keys for me, and signed papers for the truck for me etc.

If they don't have it, nobody does. They will do whatever it takes to get you back on the road.

Everyone so cool..nice helpful mechanics and techs...except that lady that works at shop...not helpful at all ,,very very rude!!

Good customer service and I was for the most part in and out... The only reason why they didn't get 5 stars is because I truly didn't care to hear the chatter near the drivers lounge about politics. No one is going to die if one candidate loses. Stick to your day job.

Very knowledgeable people that work here had me in and out in reasonable amount of time. They have a 5 star rating, but parking sucks.

Jan 2018.
Came in early morning with check engine light, bad censor in DEF system.
Mechanic diagnosed problem and changed censor without hesitation.
Had me back on the road with in 3 hrs.
Excellent staff and very knowledgeable mechanics and most of all honest people!
I would recommend them to anyone!

So very disappointed at the LACK OF SERVICE!!
Traveling with my daughter and a horse and diesel motorhome engine lights both come on. Got a place to stall the horse and went straight to this place. Was thrilled they could work in the rv, I thought!!
After 4 hrs of waiting, I went to the desk to see what progress had be made. My rv was outside and no one had come to talk to me until I asked. Mechanic told me I had diesel in my def tank and the whole unit needed to be replaced. He asked if I was the last one to fill def tank and how it can be confusing at the gas pumps. A-HOLE
We always buy our def out the blue box and have never filled at the pumps, so we knew it wasn't possible to have diesel in the def tank. So I asked if they would siphon out old def and fill with new. Our home mechanic told us that def expires and gets ruined in cold weather. Which made perfect sense!
Mechanics at this place told me I would have to wait another 3 HOURS, for them to drive my rv back inside to do the 5 minute siphon and refill!!!
I LEFT, HORRIBLE LACK OF SERVICE!!!! SHAME ON YOU CHARGED $300.00 AND 5 HRS OF WAITING TO BE TREATED SO POORLY!!!!
MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE MY 300 DOLLARS AND SEND YOUR MECHANICS BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!

Thanks to the persistence of the certified Cummins technician, a difficult electrical problem was solved.

They always take good care of us and always friendly.

Never come back to this place again 6 hrs for 15 minutes to tell me what's wrong and not able to fix it

Make sure you take your blood pressure medication when dealing with the service area
Our motorhome was here approximately 30 days..only time they called was for payment
We were never updated..good luck with service representative..
As far as work done..mechanic did a great job

Very good service. I came in with a coolant leak and instead of making something up and robbing me they did the correct repair. Replaced the radiator cap. Albert was the best. He was very patient waiting for my payment. Thank you guys for everything

This place is garbage. It is ridiculous how bad the service is in the trucking industry. Smh.

Parts department could use some help. I hate when I m being waited on and the counter guy keeps answering the phone. Can t blame the counter guys cause I m sure they are pushed to do it. All of them are friendly and whiling to help. Well when they aren t busy which is rare.

Excellent service.In and out less than 3 hours. Replace batteries under warranty no charge.

Absolutely amazing, I expected to sit here for 2+ days as always , but they got me right in, fixed my problem within 1 hour and I was on my way

I was skeptical about sending my truck here but took a chance and Albert and Adam came through for me. In and out in a day and were upfront all the way through, great job guys.

Hands down one of the best Freightliner dealer/shops I've ever dealt with as an owner operator. 11/6/20, called that afternoon for 3 codes for fuel and 25% derated. I spoke with John and he couldn't promise that they could repair it due to being slam booked, but that he could atleast get it scanned some time tonight so I atleast knew what I was dealing with. I rolled in there and within an hour his shop forman was able to plug it in. Within minutes, he knew what it was, verified they had the parts on hand and told me he could have it fixed in a few minutes. During that time I was dealing with Albert who was running the service desk. Super nice guy. They took thier time explaining everything from start to finish. The diagnostic, labor and parts were fair priced. The parts guy even took time to write up a qoute for some parts unrelated to my repair that I had asked about. I'll definitely be back when I need a dealer and sending all the Freightliner owner operators I know there. They actually care about the driver owners here unlike some other dealers. FYI, you're better off bobtailing in. Its a small, very packed lot and youll have to drop your trailer on the side street. There's a cul-de-sac at the end to turn around and drop on the right. Entrance is on the main road(see picture).

The service department is great. Josh and Connie always get you in quickly. They keep you up-to-date on the status of your truck. Terry is the best mechanic I've ever met. The parts guys are awesome as well. They have a great stock & their prices are good!

Tells you to bring your truck in then when you get down there they're technicians not in you have to wait till the next day!

They are basically supermen here. When I arrived I was greeter and tested with the up most respect. They were very professional and diagnosed my truck and got it fixed faster than any freightliner I have EVER been to. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Great people, came here for some parts and also to have a forced regen done on my 2012 freightliner cascadia. The parts guy was friendly and knowledgeable, and so was the service mechanic Aaron. Great people, they got me in and out within 1 hour as promised and my problem was solved. Will definitely come back if need be.

Was here 8 days for forced regen and brackett I hope it never happens near here again. Was told it would be done Wednesday or Thursday but on Thursday it had yet to go in. I understand first come first serv. And I did not buy it from your dealership so no pull just the 6 hrs job taking 8 days is very rough to believe if it was a major issue I could understand. If I had know Friday I would have cleaned out my truck and gone to Columbus and got another.

Over 7000 in repairs the first time I took my truck for repairs 1000 dollars went home 3 more sensors came on they told me thats the way it is and charge me my mirrors don't work and when I'm have a regen the warning light doesn't come on yes lexington freightliner not Indiana

This is one of the better Freightliner dealers that stock parts for older trucks but always call before u go in there especially during daytime hrs not much truck trl parking just to go in for something but after 1730 not a problem

As an owner operator I do as much work on my own truck as possible. Finding a shop that I trust is important but has been hard to find til now. Joshua greeted us first thing in the morning and was very friendly and some how got us in immediately. Deven was the tech and was completely competent and gave good advise. He was also very friendly and has a great work ethic. Super pleased to find this shop as everyone in the place pleasant to deal with. We will go out of our way to go back for any service I can't do for myself. Thanks again
