Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center Review

Been to a lot of ATA shows like this place the best.

Ky State Fair, brings back family and tradition. Plenty of offerings, great day of Fun, food and laughs..

Really cool to look around and a lot of sheep and nice friendly vendors except for one with a messy stand and if your just looking not buying he basically says get out.

Great atmosphere every year with a spectacular show of Big Rigs

Very pricey, hard to navigate, no signs giving directions

Kentucky Expo Center is a Grand place. Found it to be a large area with convenience of parking ($10) if you arrive early in the morning. Additional Halls were added West, Freedom, East, North lobby and South wing hall....and 28 acres + surrounding. Make sure you bring your walking shoes. Nice Place.

The inside is temperature controlled and comfortable. I had a great time.

Because it was worst on the ground auto or people communication of any conversation.no short cut through the building so you had to walk in the rain all around the center no station maps no staff convenient to answer guesthouse or give directions or short cuts . Police everyone. Trump great but how about the traffic help.
Very poor logistics. Inside the convention was great.
Reluctant to come to this site again.

Biggest building I have ever seen in my life. It is pretty easy to get in and out of and there was plenty of parking.

Show of shows antique military gear simply the best

Great place to go for many types of events. Parking is somewhat expensive.

Loved the boat show, seems someone could do a little better on parking

The expo center was great. The food vendors in the arena leave a lot to be desired. Horrible service and subpar quality. Would definitely rate higher if food better quality.

About like others, 4 walls and a roof. Ridiculously expensive parking.

The Kentucky Exposition Center has always been home to so many fun entertaining shows and events since I was a little kid. It's such a nostalgic fun scene to bring my kids now to enjoy many of the same shows I loved as a kid. The Kentucky State Fair in August is a must for anyone who wants a feel for Kentucky love. Always love coming here.

Pretty obvious which parts are new, and which are falling apart. But we always have fun at the fair.

Had a great time at MATS Show. Only downfall is them tearing down an old building made it look trashy.

The expo center is rather old but they have been doing some updates and modernization over the last few years. Some parts are better than others though as they update some areas before others. Parking can be an issue though, it is a large lot but that means you may have to walk a long way for larger events. Also their are multiple gates you can enter, it might be in your best interest to avoid Gate #1, near the airport, as it is generally the busiest. Consider some of the small gates off of Preston or Crittenden rather than #1.

When there for the truck show this place is very big

Great food nice music and ice cold beer from my cooler in my car bahaha. Expensive as hell but all kinda of events contests booths from farm animals to hot pepper plants. Buy ride braclets for midway cheapest way to go or buy from some 1 leaving for half off hell and if you have a season pass to six flags then your all set. Parking arrangments suck unless you borrow grannies parking pass lol keepin it real.

Clean and climate control year round!
Drinks and food is high priced.

This place is huge. Like really huge. Like a brisk 15 minute walk MIGHT get you from one end to the other huge.

They always have something big going on it's a nice place to check out the Fair and Exposition.

Great place for large expositions and tournaments, but security could be better

Here for ICUEE. Everywhere I went was friendly, and the venue staff was courteous and helpful

The Kentucky state fair was amazing. Parking took some time but everything else was easy. You walked to see what you wanted to and had fun.

Had a great time watching my Boys at The Kentucky State Archery Tournament

We went to the festival of Christmas tree and lights! I loved this experience! They had ballet dancers from a local school putting on a show while they had different booths set up for the kids to make gingerbread houses, ornaments, coloring and a train ride all while there are a hundred or so Christmas trees decorated uniquely for Sale! They also had play areas outside that were set up for the kids and a gift shop! I loved it I hate that we missed it this year(2018).

MATS. Great show and great Salute to woman in trucking.

The large facility helps you from feeling cramped at busy events. I also found the parking lot to be easy to navigate

WOW Such a massive place. I went for a few hours of the NRA Meeting. I got a blister on my right foot. The NRA vendors are such great people. I spent about a hundred dollars per hour.

Nice but very big our daughter had her nationals archery there. Got team pictures

Had fun at the Stero competition that went on there but staff started shutting the lights off pretty late and they we're extremely rude. Pretty much pissed off everyone there.

Went for the Mid American Truck Show. This is year two for us we really enjoy this facility. Had a great time!

Went for a volleyball tournament ...omg...what a great location. Hosted 850 teams and 120 courts. Lots of space for vendors and easy to move around and parking was ok too.

Always just so much fun to be had here at all the wonderful events.

Nice event venue, but had to pay $8 each time I had to come in and out to park. The food there is greasy and overpriced, so we had to leave to get good food and then had to pay to get back in. They should allow you to leave and come back within the same day.
