Kentucky Dam Village SRP Review

Makes me laugh everytime I go there. The dam village in the dam park... I'm giggling now. Nice place.. state park.

I was there for the Polar Plunge. I got to see the Kentucky Dam Village Conference Center. It was very nice inside. It facilities were clean and welll maintained. The Harbor Lights Restaurant had great food at a reasonable price. The waitress was very nice and pleasant to talk too. All in all we had a great time at Kentucky Dam Village and would recommend it to friends and family.

Comfortable bed, beatiful scenery, good staff. Great place to take the family. Would recommend better lighting in the rooms.

We went to go see fireworks that were scheduled for the Fourth of July at 9:00 and we waited, but apparently it was canceled with no warning.

We stay in the campsite, where there is water and electricity. The space was large enough for our two stores and our friend's caravan. There is nearby The land between the Lakes, where there are places to walk or sail.

We stayed at the campground and everything was great, especially the people. They were quiet at night, offered to help and gave us info on what to do in the area. The only problem was the electric outlets were far away from the parking spots for the campsite and we have an electric car, so we had to park in the grass to charge.

It's a lovely spot by the water. Massive fireplace and wonderful small restaurant.

Park manager is very friendly along with the rest of the staff. Beautiful scenery of the marina and main lake at check-in. Has a gift shop, restaurant and pool.

The cottages are roomy and comfortable individual houses. The pool was nice, and beautiful scenery all around. There's also plenty to do around the resort as well.

Excellent place for lodging large groups. Our entire family met there and rented cabins. The restaurant and amenities we're enjoyed by people of all ages.

Campground has large lots. The electric and water hookups are inconveniently long distances away, but you can park your camper on the grass if need be. Great place for kids to roam and play. Close to KY Dam and Tennessee River boat launch. Calvert City, Draffenville and Grand Rivers are all within a short drive. The only real reason I wont give 5 Stars is the shape of the restrooms/bathhouses...they are in major need of remodeling and usually appear filthy. Some of the faucets wouldn't even turn on. When addressing this to the campground host, they blamed the Governor of KY....Fix these restrooms/bathhouses and this place would be fantastic.

It was a nice room. I'd say the best KY state park I've stayed at.

Awesome place for boat rentals or docking a boat. You can also fish in certain areas. Staff is quick to help with any issues you might have.

We rented a 3 BR executive cottage for Christmas. There was plenty of room for 9 of us. The kitchen is stocked with basic necessities. The cabin itself was extremely clean and comfortable.

Clean cabins, good water pressure, acceptable wifi.

We went to a fishing tournament here and where it has flooded they were dead fish everywhere. Other then that it was so peaceful

The event I attended was professional. The accommodation were acceptable.

The rooms are comfortable at a screaming deal of a price. Gorgeous views from every room.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin. It was comfortable & clean.

Very vice two bedroom cottage deluxe. It was comfort and clean. We were in town for Thanksgiving and we met family at the lodge for the Thanksgiving Day buffet. The restaurant was super busy and the wait was long for most- but it was well worth it.

Ella and team took good care of hosting our GROUP with a big, hearty breakfast to start our day right.

You get to eat in glas walled dining room overlooking main lake, Kentucky Lake. Great buffet.

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms that have recently been remodeled. Beautiful scenery.

It is a beautiful and clean place to stay with a all family

I take my grandkids here often.We go there for walks along the lake and picnics even when we don't get a room for overnite.Sandy beach or grassy hills or trails.Also horse back rides,golfing.lots to do

Ever since my Ky'Ky been there she has to go every other day

Nice place to come and visit in the lakes area. Has a hotel, restaurant, boat dock, rentals, cabins and lots more.

It needs repairs and proper cleaning and just better attention to detail

The building an conference room were nicely setup for a professional event. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to get to.

Amazing cabins, lodge and restaurant! I would highly recommend staying here, whether in the spring, summer or fall. You can not and will not go wrong!

We went to the restaurant and had the buffet. It was $14 per person. The food was good & waitresses were helpful and friendly. We also walked the paths out on the pier and across part of the lake. It was beautiful and quiet, a very peaceful Sunday afternoon.

I stayed at one of the cabins. It was very clean, very well stocked, and was well equipped, even with good wifi. The restaurant at the lodge was good but not great. And the directions were questionable. Great views, and very pretty. Enjoyable and fun.

Ate at restaurant, food was good and reasonably priced.

The cabin we stayed in was lovely. The staff was very helpful from the time we made our reservation until we left. I wish we could have stayed longer and we are planning to go back in the fall.

Very clean, including the bathrooms. Everything was immaculate.

Our room was exactly as dipicted, which doesn t happen often. It was very clean and did not smell bad. The view was great. The lady at the front counter we dealt with was very friendly. Wish I got her name. I will definitely come back.

We just went and walked around. Put boat in at marina.

We were just passing by and stopped for photos at the lake. Well kept beautiful place.

It was good. I enjoyed the views, but there was a huge spider in my room and I don't like spiders. Other than that it was good

Great place to get away. Nice walking trails around Lake good golf and great restaurant. Rooms are always clean the staff is very friendly and it's an all-round quiet environment perfect to relax.
