What an amazing experience! Katie at Kensington went out of her way to find us the perfect furniture, and took her time with us. Her patience when it came to our indecision was wonderful. I can t wait to come back and to get my furniture.

Working with Dave Schultz and Kensington was fantastic. Dave came out to our home, measure, and make recommendations. He then spent alot of time with us helping to pick out our beautiful furniture. Dave is very knowledgable, and wont push you into pricey merchandise. You can clearly tell this is a very well, family run business. Even the owner came over to say hello and thank us for our business.

Dima was extremely helpful and personable. I went home to think about my purchase and asked for her when I returned. She appeared honest, had a great sense of humour and I enjoyed working with her. She is an asset to your business.

We had an excellent experience with our furniture purchase last week. Elaina greeted us upon arrival. She immediately pinpointed what we were looking for and showed all the options saving us from culling through the entire showroom on our own. Elaina was very efficient. She helped us with our fabric selections and financing and she even fed us cookies!

They were very professional and gave me enough space to be comfortable, but were there to be very helpful throughout the entire process.

I normally don't write public reviews, but I feel compelled to do so after my great experience with Kensington Furniture Store. My sister furnished two homes and her beach house in Margate from Kensington, so when I needed furniture for my new house, she brought me to Kensington to do my shopping. I found the salesperson, Michelle, to be very knowledgeable, the quality of the furniture was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. I ended up buying a beautiful sectional sofa and some pieces for my bedroom. I did have a small issue with the delivery of my furniture, and called the customer service department to complain about it. To my surprise, the owner of Kensington himself called me at home and told me that he would personally take care of the delivery problem for me. Needless to say, they care a lot about their customers' satisfaction, and I will be going back for more purchases as I settle into my new home!!

Friendly, courteous, always there to help. Keep me updated on my furniture arrival. loads of furniture to pick from. If you can't find something here you are never going to find anything.

Katie was very nice and helpful. However I am still waiting for 12 weeks and still no furniture, six weeks after promised date. New date is today, we will see. Really should deliver for free since I won't have a truck now that they delayed it. When i spoke with them about delay they were a bit cool. They have almost $1000 of my money since 11/1/19. Really disappointing.

We had an issue. Mike Grossman fixed it. End of story. Customer service is the best.

Kensington Furniture is one of my favorite places to visit when shopping for the home. The folks there are always courteous, helpful and friendly. The selection of home furnishings is wonderful and the prices are very competitive. I also love the cookies!

Never again. If you know me, ask me about it. But make sure you have about an hour or so to spare. Read the negative reviews that already are out there. They are spot on.

To start off David Schultz was my salesman and he was phenomenal between his knowledge and professionalism he made my first furniture purchase easy! From the moment I walked in he made it clear he wasn t there to stalk me or make me feel uncomfortable he told me where everything was located in the store and said he would check on me periodically For any questions which was the best thing to hear after dealing with Ashley furnitures salesmen! I live 1hr 30mins from the store and I m super happy I made the choice to drive to Kensington! The prices are unbeatable compared to other stores and literally was no hassle at all! I dreaded going to buy furniture for the mere fact I would get harassed but it was quick easy and enjoyable! Plus they have fresh cookies to enjoy while you look! I highly recommend David and the store!

We had an excellent experience with Elaina at Kensington. We purchased a mattress, king bedroom set, and sectional. Elaina was patient, offered excellent advice, and made the stressful experience enjoyable ! We would recommend Elaina to anyone and everyone! We loved our experience with her, the manager, and all of the products we purchased.

Myself + my husband went into Kensington to look for a comfy new sofa or sectional for our home. We currently have modern furniture that is beautiful but uncomfortable. Our sales rep Lisa was very kind, helpful + patient with us. We found a sectional we wanted that had everything we were looking for: deep seating, comfort, quality + style. We went to other stores to seek other options + eventually came back (as Lisa predicted) + purchased the sectional. Our experience was awesome. The customer service is stellar. All team members were kind + engaging (but not intrusive). The price points + quality of the furniture is also excellent. I highly recommend for overall experience, quality + value.

Professional, communicated time they woul be there day off deliver, drivers called to tell me I was next stop....by the way, I purchased Saturday..they do delivered Sunday afternoon right before memorial day! Kudos to Kensington!!!

If your a potential customer DO NOT DO NOT shop here. They will sell you a dream in the store and not deliver. We have been promised our delivery on 4 separate dates now. Paid our first payment on a sectional I have not even received.

Bought a sectional January 11th. told the salesman I needed it within 4 weeks could that be done? he said it "wouldn't be a problem."
paid 30% up front. received an email with an estimated date of 3/7. 7 weeks out. I've called multiple times and spoken with multiple associates and managers and they keep saying that once it goes into production it takes LESS THAN 4 weeks but they failed to tell me it would take 2.5 weeks to go into production. and no one can give me a reason why! I don't mind paying for quality but when there is an agreement of less than 4 weeks I expect that agreement upheld!

I ve only shopped here a couple of times. But every time has always been a pleasant experience.

We have been dealing with multiple issues with the furniture we ordered from Kensington 10/23/17.
Michael, the owner called me personally and resolved all of our issues. Although we had some bumps in the road they were handle. Thank you, Michael, Michele and all who help... been done. Just a lot of talk.

Lots of awesome choices and Katie, the super patient salesperson, made us feel totally at home on our 4 trips to the store so we would choose the perfect piece of furniture for our home.

We live in Gloucester county and we had shopped all over and this was the best find for the quality and value! Katie was great as she helped us pick out the accent chair and ottoman. KENSINGTON & David Schultz-lead design consultant wete so helpful and wonderful to work with. I purchased an entire living room, sofa, loveseat, chair all custom fabric & coffee and end tables. They stayed within my budget and I never felt pressured or rushed. I had such a great experience and I highly recommend Kensington and all their staff.

I walked into Kensington furniture and was greeted by a lady named Elaina. I told her that I was looking for something very particular because my daughter had just had spinal surgery. We talked about my daughters needs and what I wanted. Elaina immediately went into action. She knew exactly what I was looking for and showed me a few items, but different versions of how I could purchase them. I fell in LOVE with this one sectional that had the softest fabric and could be configured to fit my daughter's needs. After looking over my measurements, Elaina sat down and figured the perfect set up to fit my space. Her design was totally on point, it looks beautiful in my home. My daughter is very happy and comfortable. I would recommend Kensington to anyone looking for new furniture and make sure to ask for Elaina, she truly cares for her customers and is a great at what she does. Thanks Elaina!!

Our family will never buy another thing from them. This whole fiasco with the salespeople telling you your furniture will be in by such and such date which they know is total bs to the nonexistent customer care. After being told it would be ready in 3 weeks to waiting 6 weeks and told they can t get it. On top of all this the one bedroom set of the three we ordered that was delivered is damaged. This is new to me but take my word and steer clear of Kensington

I was pleasantly impressed with the service I received at Kensington. After searching other stores finally my vision was realized with the help of ELAINA! She listened and lead me to choices in which I found the one. Other stores could not or would not offer color choices like Kensington did.
We are so excited for our furniture to arrive.

I had very particular requirements for the sectional I was looking for and Katie helped guide me through the chaos that is furniture shopping, and was very patient as I circled the same 4 sofas for a couple hours. Unsure of how certain colors and patterns would look, I told her what I was looking for and she helped figure out what fabric would end up looking best in my new house. Very happy with how the result looks in my home!

My perception before going in was that it was going to be too expensive. I was wrong. They had competitive prices, customization of pieces and I found exactly what I was looking for!! Will def recommend Kensington to friends.

Elaina was so nice to my daughter and I. She was extremely helpful not mention patient. She didn't pressure me once. I changed me order twice and never became frustrated with me.

I have always found exactly what I was looking for from the Kensington selection of furniture Also, your delivery people are incredible! When making one delivery, Ryan even helped us determine what kind of sofa could fit into a hard to access area!

My husband and I purchased a bedroom set and mattress for our new home. The sales experience was fine, we paid in full and we were told our items would arrive in 2 weeks. After about 5 weeks we still hadn t heard anything, so my husband called. We were given a new date range for arrival in a couple weeks. That day came and went and we didn t hear anything. My husband called again and the woman he spoke to was unable to give us any information about when the items would arrive. My husband asked if we could get the delivery fee waived or something due to the inconvenience. She said she would find out and call back. She never did. Eventually after 10 weeks we received some of out items-we were told they didn t have the base for our bed or our mattress cover yet. Another 2 weeks later we still hadn t heard anything so I called and spoke to someone named Mark. He was unable to give me any indication of when our items would be ready. I asked again if there was anything they could do such as waiving the delivery fee and he said that seemed reasonable and he would get back to me that day. He called back within the hour to say our items were ready. I wonder how long the items had been sitting there. After 12 1/2 weeks and two deliveries we finally have all of our items. Mark never got back to me about waiving the delivery fee. Overall disappointed with the experience as our items took 3 months to arrive and communication on their part was lacking.

I was assisted by Alyssa and she was very helpful and friendly. I purchased two couches that were very nice and affordable. There was a nice selection of furniture and I scheduled it to be delivered within a week of the purchase. Overall it was a very positive experience.

My mom and I had a great shopping experience. Sales staff was very friendly and we felt no pressure to buy. Gerry was our salesperson and was very helpful. We were very lucky to get same day delivery on a sale piece of furniture. We will be shopping again soon.

I have to say I was super surprised with Kensington. The sales people were not pushy and very nice. I don't like it when people come up to me right away and ask what I'm looking for because most of the time I have no clue and need space. They have a lot of different styles and different prices. We found awesome living room furniture for a cheap price. $300-$2000 is around what I saw for a sofa. They also have an OUTLET upstairs. They also carry some Ashley Furniture and some of them for cheaper then Ashley. Defiantly check out Kensington.

Top notch service!!! I can't say enough good things about Kensington! Sales associates Jerry, Dave and Dan were so helpful and couldn't do enough. They all really went above and beyond. Just about everything in the store can be customized to your taste and Jerry and Dave spent a great deal of time helping us select the best fabric for each piece. The manager Michelle REALLY helped us out with our order as well. We initially ordered custom furniture for a house we had built but after the house had issues, we had to find another house and Michelle was so sympathetic of our situation, she let us make a new selection for the new house!! Top notch customer service. I will never shop anywhere else for my furniture!!!

Absolutely love this store. I came to Kensington purely by accident and I am so glad I did. I really like the idea that I was able to look around at all the furniture without being stalked by a sales person. When I was ready to buy I simply found the sales associate and told her I was ready to purchase. The couch came in even quicker than I was told. I will definitely shop here again and will tell my friends and family to shop here as well.

Back in December I purchased a sofa bed from Kensington. I absolutely love it! I love every step of purchase to delivery. The gentleman were professional, courteous, and informative. I will certainly make future purchases from Kensington.

When I walked into this store, no one acknowledged me. (I walked through the entire store --about 15minutes. It was not busy.) Since they had some something I thought I liked, I went back a week later with my mother and purchased the item. I chose to pick up the piece that I bought since the delivery fee was $89. Then I discovered that they gave (my husband) us the wrong item. ( I had to wait in the back for an inordinate amount of time.) Needless to say I was disappointed. They agreed to deliver the correct piece and apologized for their mix up, but I had to make several calls to make it happen. Michelle told me she'd call back and never did. When I called back, the customer service acted like I was an inconvenience. I talked to 3 different people before Crystal was able to give a date of delivery. I would think twice before ever purchasing from this store again because if something goes wrong the people are not very accommodating or professional.

Where do I begin. Jerry and Michael have been amazing through all my changes delt with a return and honored it all and a few trips to my house to calm my mind and now my room is complete I'm so happy .

Lew Needles and his magical elves transformed my kitchen with minimal mess and stress. Of course, I wouldn t make a decor decision without first consulting Jerry and Dan. They have a great sense of style and always know what will fit into my spaces. Norm is s magician who can make all the necessary adjustments so everything is perfection.

It was also a pleasure meeting you and you bonded with my husband over your mutual love of The Birds! Go green! And thank you everyone at Kensington Furniture and Kitchens. I ll be in touch next year with yet another project.

Excellent selection. Jerry did a great job finding a living room set that fit into our oddly shaped room. He cares about your want and needs, and will do whatever it takes to make you happy. He spent hours working with us to maximize seating in a living room that is a total nightmare. I was scared at first at some of his options, but after coming home and visualizing the options he presented, I was delighted and confident in our purchase the following day. The furniture is now installed, and a room I once hated, I now love. We now go to Jerry for all furniture purchases.

The furniture was really top quality, but it was the service, the friendliness, the openness and helpfulness of everyone that made the whole experience enjoyable and satisfying. Highly recommended.

Beware of the 3M Bait and Switch!!! Visited the Northfield store interested in purchasing twin box springs and bed frames. Salesperson Mitch presented box springs made by Sterns & Fostere along with new bed frames in the manufacturers box. After purchasing and taking my vehicle to the loading dock, different boxprings and frames not in a box (also somewhat rusted) began to be loaded into the vehicle. I stopped the loaders and asked for a supervisor. Megan arrived who stated Mitch showed me the wrong box springs and frames and I would have to pay $250 per piece vs the $50.00 that was written up on the sales purchase. During the conversation, as one of the dock loaders saw my frustration, he stated not to worry, this happens all the time. Frustrated even more I shared my dissatisfaction with Megan yet she stated she could not make any exceptions and I would have to pay the extra money if I wanted the Sterns & Foster springs. I left very angry and dissatisfied hoping I could get more understanding when I called later as I was in a hurry and did not have any time to reverse or process a return.
Upon my return home, I called and spoke with Michelle, apparently the manager on duty, who apologized for the inconvenience and was willing to offer me a discount. When I advised I was not interested in a discount on any future purchase ( since I was never going to shop there again), she proceeded to state she would rescind her offer if I were to enter a negative review on line. WOW... does she need an education on Customer Service in todays competitive environment.
All in all a horrendous experience that I offer to any future potential customers interested in looking at this business. Website portrays themselves a a very friendly and successful family business started over 100 years ago but I'd have to say father Meyer Max would certainly be unhappy about the service being offered today.

a bad experience we bought a center table set we were waiting for 2 months and the order never came we went to the store and they explained that the order came from China we did not bother and we went pal was a Wednesday and they called us on Friday that I called the table were in the store they were not honest the tables never arrived and they tried to trick us with the tables they had in the store after a strong discussion they told us that the tables were discontinued we demanded our money they told us 14 days past 14 days and nothing have no word are some fakers I do not recommend that damn store

I have shopped here often...bought a wonderful Wall Unit for my new additional room. David was so helpful...suggested the perfect unit for me, and helped me with measurements, etc. Now installed, I get many compliments on the piece! I will return for other needs!

The Kensington Furniture adventure started with us 4 months ago. My wife saw a beautiful, colorful furniture set that fit our family room perfectly. It has been 17 years since we purchased any serious piece of furniture so this was not a decision taken lightly. Many hours hours of shopping and discussing with shop personnel and myself. I do not know where to start except that we are now almost 4 months from our original purchase date and do not have our full set of furniture. It has been the worst customer service experienced of our lives. We moved around this country... lived in different countries... with better experiences then what we have experienced the past 16 weeks. So here is the short of it:

- 5/25/19 - Furniture decision made and ordered.
- 6/15/19 - Told furniture in and ready for delivery. Perfect.
- 6/27/19 - Furniture delivered at our request on this date. Only 2 of 3 pieces were correct. Chaise was missing. Was never ordered. THE BEGINNING OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVENTURE.

Since 6/27/19 my wife has had no less ten 20 phones calls (all documented) and 10 hours (yes... that is right... 10 hours of phone time... all documented... her hourly rate is worth more then twice the price of the furniture we PAID for) trying to get the last piece of furniture. She has spoken at length to Michelle, Mark and Suzanne over 20 times with no resolve. They managed to return calls 4 times... ever. Each time was like starting from the beginning again. Have not had a single return call form them in four weeks.

We are into the third week of September. No contact with Kensington in two weeks.

My Fiance and I went in this store located in Northfield and were very pleased with our sales rep, we walked in and she didn't attack us right away like a pack of vulture's, she heard what we had to say pertaining to the sale we seen and how much we were looking to spend, we were in and out in an hour with a sofa and matching love seat for our new apartment.
The store layout is very nice and clean, well organized and not "crammed or Cluttered". and they have reasonable priced furniture, It's not an over priced establishment like most. Stop in and give them a try, they also have awesome financing.

The sales experience at Kensington was terrific. Katie very easy to work with. She made wonderful suggestions for how to put new living room furniture together with what i have. The manager Michele and everyone I met were all very friendly and courteous. Furniture on order. Looking forward to delivery.

Today we supported a local business, Kensington Furniture after searching for weeks for a kitchen table and chairs. Their website had the greatest variety in what we were interested in, which led us to a visit to the showroom. Again, there was a great variety of the types of kitchen sets that we were looking for. Here is where the scales tipped in purchasing from our local store...We could sit on the chairs and inspect the actual product. Next, the items were in stock. We returned to the store, paid and had the items in the SUV to take home within 15 min. We decided to do the assembly ourselves because we wanted our item right away. This is how we roll. Big shout out to Katie F. Our fav sales person who we worked with last year as well. She gets it done quickly and professionally. Thank you Katie for your outstanding customer service. Thank you Kensington for continuing to provide excellent products and wonderful employees. Michelle was pleasant in assisting us with our payment and pick up! Stay safe Kensington staff. We support you and want to keep your business around!
