Lots of rides and things to do for the family. Wouldn't reccomend eating at Johny Rockets tho, it was VERY expensive and took 45 minutes to get our food after we ordered.

This park could seriously use a nice cleaning and perhaps some training or seminars on how to effectively run an an amusement park. A lot of the rides were shut down yesterday, and all of the consesion lines were ridiculously long and slow. 45 minutes in line for a drink refill?? Why not have a line dedicated to refills only, especially since you re offering a refill special with the souvenir cups. And it would help if there weren t actual children left to tend to huge concession stands. I don t know if 14 year olds should be left alone to take care of 100s of people. Maybe more management oversight could help the lines move more efficiently??
Had an absolute blast was there from the time the park open to the time it closed!!!!
We got stormed out in June the one day when there were a bunch of people who went but I enjoyed it
Love it kids are 1yrs old and 5yrs old and both was able to get on rides
This is one of the best amusement parks in the US. So many unique classic rides, and so much to do. The food is even amazing! You're guaranteed to have an amazing and unforgettable time here.
Ride heights are a lot more stringent. Our 5 year old wasn't allowed on quite a few rides even with an adult. Food quality has gone down considerably from previous years. Not bad for $20-30. Anything more, your money is better spent elsewhere.
We love this place! My daughter loves the horses on the Merry Go Round! It was a fun night for Christmas lights. It felt like in a fairy tale with all the lights around and the huge Christmas Tree!
The lines weren't crazy but we did go on a. Thursday. We had a great time as a family and plan to return often.
The entry was affordable and the staff were all friendly.
My only negative was the number of rides that were closed. I would habe expected more to be open at end of June beginning of July.
Great time overall, do recommend.
Kennywood is as Pittsburgh as The Steelers, Primanti Bros and any other area insitution. The park is clean, well staffed and offers attractions, food and games for people of all ages. I personally love all the old rollercoasters, The Thunderbolt, The Jack Rabbit and The Racers. Don't leave without getting some Potato Patch fries...they really are worth all the hype! If you want a quick visit, they offer a night pass for like $25 and the lines are typically small. We had a sitter and just the wife and I got to play for a couple hours without the kids...bam!
The new Steel Curtain coaster is awesome! Kennywood is one of my favorite parks. The landscaping is very nice and the amount of trees provides a lot of shade. The atmosphere is very family friendly.
Lots of rides for smaller kids, reasonably priced carnival games, and good food.
Had a great time until we got rained out. They gave us tickets to come back another time. Very nice. Cant wait to ride steel curtain!!!!!
Phantoms Revenge is amazing. Great mix of old and new rides
Love it. My first visit and I am impressed. That's not easy to do.
Never again would I patronize this park, extremely rude and insensitive staff (not all, but some)
Everytime I go only half the rides are open. So half a rating seems fair.
Still a great family-friendly park in the era of nationwide chains. Nab some Potato Patch fries before or after riding the Skyrocket!
I love Kennywood so much! Always have, always will. Such a fun place!
When say Kennywood during the Corona was STILL FUN big shout out to Olivia and Sarah and Tylee on the Phantoms They keep it sanitizer on deck . They remind u in the nicest way PLEASE KEEP UR MASK OVER YOUR NOSE AND MOUTH thank you having manners goes along way See u guys soon
Great family fun place. Somewhere for all ages. Food is a little pricy though.
Relaxed and fun family environment, would do the almost 4 hour drive again my child enjoyed himself.
Not enough staff to run the rides and more closing as staff leaves.
It is a fun place to hang with family and you can go on many rides.
I think Kennywood is an amazing place to go if you have children any age and i will also make a good date if you want to have a date i really think people should go there at least one a week or a weekend I LOVE IT
There were so many rides closed. What we got to enjoy was wonderful. However, we cut the day short because we came, we saw, we conquered. I loved sharing Kennywood with my children, it's a staple growing up in Western Pennsylvania. I hope they can find a way to better maintain.
An awesome place to make memories, generations over!
Loved it!!! Drive from Cleveland well worth it. Great atmosphere and great rides. The price for a ticket is worth every penny. I love how this place does everything from the coasters to kiddieland.
Great for for the whole family. The rides are fun and tame enough for the little ones and people that can't ride really extreme rides, but there are also some extreme rides for the thrill seekers. There is a countless amount of places to purchase food. The best of these (in my opinion) is the Potato Patch fries with cheese and bacon.
Love Halloween nice place go every year perfect 4 the family
Really can't believe that Kennywood has declined so quickly after new ownership. It is dirty, in need of TLC. Missing handles on the Thomas the Train rides. Rides are less than 2 years old. Paint is chipped and peeling. Bathrooms are frightening. Employee shared the only decent bathroom is near the Garfield Express. Speaking of employees, too few. We waited over an hour to buy tickets for admission. Only two of ten tickets windows were staffed. If you build it, they will come as was evidenced by new Steel Curtain ride but will we always when everything else is in disrepair?
Great park, good price, hate seeing signs at rides that say 2 hour wait from this point. Takes a lot of fun out of it.
A family environment and fun place to go love it. I'm 46 and have been going there since I was born
Just great..
Period. !!!!
If you haven't been there in 10 years or longer, you're in for a very pleasant surprise. They've stepped it up with new thrill rides and dark rides.
Shame how this park is so money hungry now. Everything is so expensive. 2nd visit with multiple rides closed with no notice, or explanation at the gate. 1st time I learned from an employee it was because they didn't have enough people to work. For the price you charge it's a real shame that's the best you can do.
My review is only for fright nights, It is so crowded with wait times sometimes exceeding 2 hours! we got to the park at 8pm and waited in line for 2 attractions and the park was closing (12am)
Dont waste your time!
Love Kennywood!!! Food and drink prices are pricey....!!!! Love the Park Cafe, the kids are friendly and the best food!!! Prices are not to bad!!!! The boys that do the cleaning are very polite, what a great team!!!!!
Closed coasters because of rain, which I can understand. But closed the movie theater because of possible power outage, wild
Kennywood is a perfect mix of classic attractions and new, cutting edge thrills.
Four stars only because it isn't the roller coaster capital of the world. Still plenty of diverse rides and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy! If you're going with a big group I suggest buying your tickets in advance either online or through some kind of work discount group etc... You'll have to pay an additional $10/ticket if you pay at the door.
This day was horrible. So many rides closed. Food stands closed. I am not sure why this is going. Close some games and open the rides. We came to ride not play games. Then a worker so worried about a co worker he spills watermelon on my leg and shoes. Come on really. I am just very UPSET how the day was. I will be happy to tell everyone how bad today was. The cost should be half price since we could only use half tne park.
Fun Park to go to they stuck to their guidelines for this year even though I was unable to go this year it's still a good park see you in 2022
We've been going to Kennywood since our kids were about 2 and 4. They still have a blast here. There are rides for little kids and rides for kids at heart.
Fun and nostalgic park. Lots of great coasters, and family rides too
As a european, I really enjoyed the overall feeling of this park. There is a lot of historic rides and there is a nice collection of modern rides too! I enjoyed the food and the landscaping and I can recommend Kennywood to anyone who reads this! You have a fun day for sure!
Wonderful shopping and rode all them so fun. Great weather !!
We had a great time at Kennywood today. Even though you had to wear a mask it was great. We didnt have to wait in long lines. I didnt like that there were not a lot of games open and we are very sad that the Steel curtain was closed . That was the main reason for us to go. Other than that it was great.
It's such a fun amusement park, I highly recommend you check it out.
to far to go and the roller coasters are not that great I love cedar point it's lot closer
Good ole' family fun! KennyWood hasn't changed much over the few decades that I've been going there. The lines were unexpectedly long on the Wednesday afternoon that I last went. But They do offer VIP tickets for $80, which allows you to then jump to the front of the lines. I personally think that the price of tickets are ridiculous for the selection of rides they do offer. So I would never pay for a VIP ticket.
A place you grow old with. It changes with time as we do. Family tradition for all Pittsburghers.
All the rides were fun! Laser show was neat! Face painter hired for company picnic was rude.
This park used to be great until they started construction and many rides were closed. All the remaining rides had very long wait.
Please! Will Sky Rocket ever open up again?!?! What the what?!?!?!
Great amusement park for kids and adults. Always fun.
Many rides were not operational. Further, the restaurant food made both my sister & myself ill.
Took my oldest son to his first big amusement park. He loved it but the rides were a little bit higher than what he expected so no coaster rides or anything of the sort but will enjoy when we are able to take the youngest son and his oldest sister in a year or 2.
Very wheelchair friendly all the way around. Had a wonderful time
It was an ok park. It is kind of laid out a bit. It was expensive for food but you can bring your own in.
An awesome small amusement park. Great for our wheelchair using teen with CP.
