Lovely nature reserve near the coast. Easily reached with ample parking. Lots of lovely walks and a great place to take the dogs but please clean up after them!

Great walks through the dunes, lots of friendly off lead dogs. Walkers paradise. Amazing pond, busy at start but there's so many walks uou can be by yourself. Free parking a bonus
Lovely day here but ashame the visitors centre is closed and no toilets. Nice coffee and cake vendor which I believe is there most of the time and an ice cream van in the afternoon (don't know if this is as regular). Lots of picnic tables and benches dotted about, a good walk to the beach over the dunes but we enjoyed it
Wonderful place, good for dog walking. I recommend the yellow trail for a good walk to the beach through the dunes. This is the only place in the UK where you can find a certain type of super rare fen orchid. Parking is free. Sometimes they have an ice cream van. We saw some people on the lake in boats and a few drones which I don't think is allowed.
As beautiful as any other exotic place in the world. Difference is its on our door step.
Oh my word forgot how lovely it was to just walk with the dog again & listen to nothing ....been a long lockdown .....spring is here now nice to have some freedom in the sun again....safe walking ..
One of the best nature reserves in Wales, with a wide variety of habitats, birds, reptiles and mammals. It's quite big and some terrain is a bit tricky, so bring your walking boots! It's a bit disconcerting to see the steel works in the distance but it's still a beautiful place.
The nature reserve is good. Sker beach is also great, and usually less crowded than other beaches due to the 15 minute walk through the sand dunes to get there.
Maybe a bias review as we literally live across the road but every weekend we're there watching our dog bound across the dunes. We all love it and have been there so much we've got to know the quieter routes through to the beach. Well worth a long morning walk.
A fantastic place to visit with kids who love to run and explore. So many routes to follow. The beach area is beautiful with great waves for surfing and body boarding. The car park is easy to find and free. It does get busy during peak times. Lots of dog walkers with their dogs on and off the lead. Would highly recommend and will visit again.
