This was the Kenya commercial bank headquarters before they moved to their new tower in upperhill. It's popular within the Nairobi cbd and it's used as a landmark if you are looking for a location. The great ambassador hotel is just opposite and this is one place that is hard to miss because it's one of the busiest streets in Nairobi.
Located in the heart of Nairobi central business district,Kencom is the headquarters of KCB Bank kenya one of the biggest banks in East Africa.
Right at the heart of the CBD, Everybody in Nairobi knows of it as it is a main bus Terminus. Located Opp. Hilton Hotel, Ambassador Hotel and The National Archives, on Moi Ave. A good reference point in case you are lost an require directions. Be careful, however of the Pick pockets that frequent the area as it is usually crowded during rush hour.
Place has no public toilets..U have to cross over to NAIROBI Archives building or walk along Agakhan walk past former Uchumi stores & just behind Kenya power offices-to get public toilets. No parking or drop off Zone in case u need to be dropped or to drop off someone.. to get buses going to Nairobi Hospital or Adams or Kawangware Yaya centre etc as that's the stage for the famous City Hopper buses.
