Not kid friendly with a group of older retired women at this location. They are "territorial" as I was told by an employee when I reported about an incidence of rudeness towards my 2 year old grandchild by 5 of the women. They do not like to share the woman's locker room. Made it very clear to me when I brought my grand daughter into "their" locker room.
One by one they informed me that she did not belong in their locker room, each could hear the one before informing me since they were each only a few feet away from each other. My grandchild just needed to use the toilet and get changed. She was not approaching any of them nor was she being loud or rude.
I would and have brought her in the "Community Locker Room" but there is no bathroom provided in there. No toilets, sinks or showers. Just a few changing stalls and lockers. An employees office is located at the end of the Community Locker Room. No access to the pool through this room. The "girls locker room" has one toilet and the seat was broken on it last we were in there. There are several children waiting to use the only toilet before swim class from the day care program. Which did make us late for class. Yet there are several stalls, toilets, sinks and showers in the Woman's Locker Room. BUT no children allowed in there and they let you know it. Again employee just stated that they (older women) are "territorial"
I won't be attending any more swim classes or any other classes at this location. Clearly we are not welcomed there. It's a shame since the swimming class teacher is a very kind, informative and the grand baby likes the classes.
