Heritage Room for meeting space. Food was set up nicely and tasted great. Temperature was great. Only downside...some guy was playing the piano in the open space, so it was a little distracting and loud.

The rooms are nicely furnished but quite small. The bathroom is like a wet bathroom design with a shower curtain. It's an efficient use of space if nothing else.

My biggest complaint is the temperature in the hallway. I wound up on the 7th floor and it's uncomfortably hot and humid. Fortunately the room reached a comfortable temperature quite quickly once the air was turned on.

This hotel has a friendly staff and modern accommodations. I like to support college students who are learning about the hospitality industry. However, I've stayed at the Kellogg Center many times, and there are always little hiccups that I haven't experienced at other hotels. For example, this time their credit card system wouldn't take my colleague's American Express card and the draft beer taps weren't working in the bar/restaurant. Last time I stayed, the entire computer system went down so they had to check people in using paper forms, which slowed things down considerably. These are minor annoyances, but they happen every time. The rooms are neatly appointed, but they are small. The two-bed rooms feel cramped. Most of the showers are European style, meaning the shower and bathroom are one room. You pull a curtain around one corner to shower, but the water gets all over the floor of the entire bathroom. I don't mind it, but some people can't stand that style. Overall, knowing I'm supporting students outweighs the issues I've experienced.

I chair a 3 day conference here every year. You can't beat the food and the service. In the past several years I can truly say I've never had a bad meal. The rooms are very nice and clean, updated and the price is fair.

was told at check that no rooms were available until after 7 pm that just about ruined my tailgating plans put a bad start to the weekend they were rude pertaining to this and did not offer any discount or compensation for this major inconvience. i was completely disappointed and will more than likely never stay there again. i paid $200 for what i feel is not worth it. i was told this was the nicest hotel in east lansing well news flash they are not.

I have only been to the Kellogg Center for a few events hosted by my department at MSU, but they have always been great! The Kellogg Center has nice rooms and can also provide catering.
