The staff absolutely blew me away. They were not only attentive, but friendly and cheerful. They without of their way to help all of the guests. It is right on Michigan States beautiful campus so there were plenty of great places to walk to. I was there for a conference and not only were facilities fantastic but the food was the best I have had at any conference! It was so good I actually asked for the recipe on a couple dishes, which they happily sent me. I will come back here Every chance I get!

I always enjoy my stay at this hotel. It's clean and stylish, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The State Room (hotel restaurant and bar) has great food and a nice selection of wine and Michigan beers.

The Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center is conveniently located in East Lansing, and is a great spot for events. There are lots of meeting rooms and ample parking. The State Room is the restaurant located within the conference center and is an excellent locale for dinner and drinks, or to attend one of their special events.

The hors d'oeuvres were delicious! The drinks were fine. My husband and I had a great time at the retirement party for Brad. I even bought a Mother's Day gift at the MSU spirit shop conveniently located near the Red Cedar Room. So many happy memories made at Kellogg Center over the years!

Friendly and attentive staff. An issue on my end with my initial room was instantly addressed. Front staff was knowledgeable and helpful about the area. Rooms were well equipped and spotless.

Fantastic hotel and conference center on the campus of Michigan State University. Always enjoy a great meal at the State Room. Hotel rooms are comfortable, campus is beautiful, staff is friendly, and location is perfect for events in the East Lansing/Lansing area.

Room door was in disrepair...sink did not drain well...food at venue was cold! Marriott Residence Inn is half the cost and clean up to date!! Do not stay here if you want quality room and service.

Was here for a conference and really dissatisfied with the cleanliness. Both men's rooms I visited were dirty with broken doors. One of the glasses I got had gunk in it. I would have expected better attention to detail and cleanliness but I had no choice in the location. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here based on what I saw.

Decent food for the event. The conference room had the appropriate equipment for the presentation, and was well set up. Everything is pricy, as expected. Parking is also pricy, unless you get a validated pass from an on-site event. Nice location. Conveniently located near Brody hall, which has quite a few food options/is more reasonably priced with the bonus of unlimited food.

I had a great overnight at the hotel. The rooms were clean and equipped with everything I needed (even extra coffee, that rarely happens in a hotel) the staff was top notch! I was very impressed.

I appreciated that parking was free for our event, but I felt like the workers at the conference center were not particularly kind or gracious hosts. I'll be honest, some had straight up attitudes. I understand that there were thousands of people in attendance and they had to be to work early, but so did we. I also felt like they were not clear direction - they told some people that signs weren't allowed on the walls, but then allowed others to keep their signs up...literally, all day. Some of the conference rooms were hot and stuffy (it's August) and felt like the heat was on (when the room was empty at 7am) and some rooms were well ventilated and airconditioned. Overall I would rate around a 3. If the staff were more accommodating and generally nicer in general - I would have given the a 4 or maybe even a 4.5. People play a big role in your experience. Our event was also at the Breslin and I would say about the same for their staff as well.

Top notch catering. The selection, quality and caliber of the food they put out is wonderful. I participated in a conference here. Having had some input in the planning, there was not a base decision to make! The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful.

Guest room was small but well equiped. In room entertainment is limited to whatever channels you can pick up on the TV. This is my only negative. Meeting facilities are very nice as the hotel is a part of the Michigan State University Hospitality School of Business. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is an on-site restaurant call the State. Plenty of amenities nearby like golf, bowling, or swimming.

The atmosphere is nice at the State room. Great place to do business and get a couple drinks. Considering there's not many other places of that quality inn EL to get a drink this is fine.

The Kellogg Conference Center on the campus of Michigan State University is an excellent venue...The beautiful women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., held their 40th Annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon for high school seniors from the Lansing Metropolitan Area...the venue was exceptional the atmosphere was energetic and filled with wonderful speeches and words of encouragement for those seniors who attended...

Amazing hotel and conference center, beautiful design and kept up well. The conference rooms are large and the catering was outstanding. The rooms and the service are top notch. You'll pay more than other local hotels (Quality Inn, Holiday Inn, etc.), but you get what you pay for. Plenty of covered parking in an attached parking garage as well.

I went for a trip with my culinary class and it was really great getting to see the kitchen and how well organized everything is. Although I did not stay at the hotel and cannot honestly rate their performance in that aspect i would still recommend because if their quality of service in the hotel is equal to that of their kitchen I would say that I couldn't have been more pleased

Good location, easy to find from the freeway, easy access to bike/pedestrian trail, friendly/knowledgeable staff, huge/clean room, reasonable rates, good conference facilities (a bit chilly, though) short distance to informal dining/beverage spots, close parking, and so forth. Good spot for my day-long seminar (& the night before).

Rooms were pretty spacious. The best part is there are rooms available in all sizes to fit in different needs like meetings/ talks/professional dinner etc. Service was good. Food was good too.
