I attended a conference at the Kellogg Center. It was a rather large conference and we used one of the Big Ten rooms for the speakers and presentation, as well as lunch. Lunch was terrific, as I had the vegetarian meal. The breakfast coffee, ntea and bagelswas average, and I've had much better breakfast spreads elsewhere. We had smaller sessions in the numbered conference rooms. There were a few tech issues, but they were fixed quickly. Other attendees spent time in the gift shop between sessions.

Very nice and elegant place. Big hotel, nice dinning rooms and other facilities. Has very nice rooms for events, celebration and gathering. Great location, in the MSU premises. Huge parking lot.

Hotel and conference room were very clean and organized. The front desk staff were helpful and professional as well. I had a great experience there. My only complaint was that some of the staff were cleaning/working/talking directly outside our conference room door, which was distracting and disrespectful.

The conference center was quite spacious and easy to navigate, however the hotel rooms were slightly cramped and dark. Overall, I would recommend the hotel and conference center as long as luxury isn't a priority.

I attended a conference in one of the many meeting rooms of the hotel. The service staff were friendly and courteous. The food provided was high quality with a focus on nutrition. My only complaint would be the proximity of the restrooms to the conference room.

Please advertise the small bathrooms. My husband hit his head 3 times. Being tall, he is used to avoiding objects but the bathroom was difficult to maneuver.
Hamburger ordered medium was burnt.
No restaurant open for breakfast was not disclosed at time of reservation.

Brunch was good! Food selection was great. Kitchen did a wonderful job if keeping everything fresh and stocked. Service was slow and lacking though. Items were forgotten and dirty buffet plates piled up. Service was the only thing holding back an amazing brunch.

Rooms are clean and nice, bathrooms are fine. Hotel is big but well cared for. Not much for workout room, no weights. However, for a very small fee you can get a pass to the workout room across the street at the university. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Mother's Day brunch at the State Room was wonderful! The food was delicious, service gracious and the space elegant, but comfortable. It was my second visit to the State Room, and will definitely be back for future events.

The staff were pleasant and the room the talk was in was clean and in everything in it in good shape. The tea and coffee service provided by the hotel was limited in the decaffeinated or herbal tea selection.

Good!

The building is a bit old, but they are renovating it. Bathrooms have a strange style where the shower is not really separate from the rest of the bathroom. There's just a drain in the floor. It actually works pretty well, except that after your shower your bathroom floor is all wet. The internet seem fast.

The Kellogg Center hosted the bar exam this administration. The staff tried to make the exam as pleasant as possible. I would like to give a special thanks to Zach for going above and beyond.

Recently stayed overnight at the Kellogg Hotel and attended a professional conference there the next day. Overall, my stay was very nice, however the shower was very strange. It was an open concept and was in the corner of the bathroom. Once a person showered the floor remained wet the rest of the morning. The hotel did provide a teak board to "keep your feet dry" however it was not very practical. The Conference Center was beautiful and the staff were friendly and attempted to assist even with multiple technical issues. The chicken was dry at lunch, however the continental breakfast and dessert were delicious. Overall, would recommend having or attending a conference and staying overnight.

Would be two stars but rooms don t have air conditioning & even with the heat turned off & it being 8 degrees outside, our room was 75 degrees all night. None of us could sleep because we were so hot & we couldn t het the window open. Besides that, the shower shares a floor with the rest of the bathroom, so you have to stand on a wood rack or in old shower water to get ready. If that wasn t bad enough - the rooms are tiny, the beds small & no pool. On the bright side - The hotel restaurant was good, staff was friendly & the location great. Hope this review helps you to know what your getting if you stay here.

Rooms are small and dark. The most interesting thing is the bathroom/shower. In the same unit. You pull a shower curtain around yourself while in the bathroom in order to take a shower. I cant describe how bee-zar it is. Similar to showering in a 1980's camper, but more expensive. The tv is small. If your laying in bed trying to watch tv, you might want to break out the opera glasses. Other than this, the place is fine.

Wonderfully comfy bed.

Wonderfully comfy bed.

Weird temperature control
Weird flush mechanism for the toilet
Weird shower
They actually have a little tip sheet about things in the room. Might want to add: push the button for the toilet until it stops and then push harder for it to flush.
If you park in the parking garage, the signs to get to the lobby/check-in are non-existent. For a hospitality program related to the school that might be hospitality 101: have good signage so people aren't lost.
Didn't come here for the tv, but severely limited channels, no free movies, and most movies are $20.
Not sure why I gave it 4 stars. The bed really is tremendously comfy. The training I am here for is great! Training rooms are good but need to be wired for audio.

The room was bit stuffy but clean. Assuming the staff use very little common sense because they have data in computers, I recommend they upgrade their software. My room was cleaned and my stuffs were put in a big bag of lost and found before I checked out. The staff did not care to apologise for the humiliation I experienced.
