On west edge of Michigan State University campus. Friendly staff. Beware: the 'Queen' size bed is really a full. Breakfast at restaurant was reasonably priced and quite good. Clean. The shower/tub has very high walls, if that's a problem, get a handicapper room. MSU parent discount available, with breakfast voucher. Free garage parking for guests. Comparably priced.

I was here for a conference, and did not stay overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms. The facilities were very nice on the first floor, but the garden level could use some updating. The bathrooms and conference rooms were outdated. The food that was served was delicious, and there was a wide variety available. It was also a plus that playing was attached to the conference center, and parking was validated for my specific conference. It did take almost a half hour to get out of the parking garage when everyone was trying to leave due to having only one exit. Overall, I would recommend using this conference center for a professional event.

I did not stay in rooms, however, hotel was in a great location and was very clean. With the exception of one person, staff was very nice, especially the helpful people at the front desk!

They lied to me. I was told upon making a reservation that the rooms had flat panel TV that could input from computers, etc. Upon arrival, an engineer explained that they had blocked these features to make sure that you could not watch any movies except those bought through the hotel. Of course, having checked it, I am now contractually obligated to pay for the room. Bringing equipment was also a hassle. In the future, I will instead try to locate an honest business to patronize.

I was here to possibly plan and host my company holiday party here. They were very helpful and accommodating and if the pricing works with my budget, then I will look forward to working with them.

Attended couple of conferences here and parent orientation for MSU freshmen. Really large meeting space, courteous and friendly staff. Comfortable and inviting space for visitors, located close to MSU and Grand River eateries.

In terms of my room, the hotel fell short of my expectations. The room was super small and felt outdated. I stayed here when I was visiting and being hosted by the university. I would not choose to stay here on my own.

The conference rooms and service are awesome. They provided excellent care and adapted well. The rooms were clean and fair for the price. My only complaint is the shower design in some rooms. The shower is simply hanging down in the bathroom, which means the floor gets soaked. They do, however, provide a mat to dry your feet and I used it to keep my clothes dry as well. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it as well.

Nice, but conference area was freezing with air conditioner vents blowing down on our head's and necks for 7 hours. Multiple people complained before they finally turned it to a little warmer.
Food was great with fresh fruit at lunch, clean facility.

The Kellogg Center is the closest hotel to the University and is a short walk to many of the sporting venues (ice hockey, baseball, soccer, track, football, etc.). Kellogg is both a hotel and a conference center and has a large parking ramp next to the building. The rooms are starting to be outdated and could use a refresh to keep it on-par with other hotels further out of town. Kellogg is a nice location for the weekend sport enthusiast or for those that have conferences within the building. Good customer service rounds out the 4-star rating.

We have a meeting here every spring, always pleased when we are done. Luncheon service has always been good. Usually have 230 for lunch. Restaurant has great dinners and breakfasts for one to six. Rooms are fine. Overall great for our meetings.

Had a good stay. The hotel is located in the Michigan state university. The room are maintained well, they are comfortable and clean. Parking is located in the next garage to the hotel. The parking place has connections in to the hotel. The parking need to have validated pass for free parking at exit for the customers staying at this hotel.

This is a professional destination for conferences. I've attended a few conferences here and they've done well with keeping the spaces clean and stocked with the refreshments ordered. Unfortunately that's all I know as I've never stayed here for personal reasons.
