Kay Plumbing is a wonderful company to do business with. My plumber Matthew was on time and explained everything to us and gave us options. He was respectful and knowledgeable. He fixed our issue and identified one we were not aware of. He was professional and repaired our leaks efficiently. I highly recommend Kay Plumbing, it was a great experience.

I have witnessed this both first hand & with others that have dealt with him directly & shared the same experiences. I wouldn't trust them to do plumbing for my dog house. Would never allow them on my property again.

Kay Plumbing was courteous from the start and came out right away. Brian was professional and took the the time to explain the problem, culprits and solution options.

Not only did he solve a number of problems with our kitchen sink (clog, low pressure and previous improper installation) but I believe preventive measures were taken too. Peace of mind and satisfaction of problem solved makes it easier to write this check.

The night before I was heading out of town, my son noticed the guest room commode was leaking water from the bottom. I called Kay Plumbing and immediately reached a live person who told me she could have a technician there within the hour. Being after hours, there was a reasonable additional fee that I was comfortable with to get that fast of service. My technician arrived promptly, assessed the situation quickly and explained the cost clearly. Work was done quickly and professionally. Communication was polite and patient. Overall, a great company to work with that I recommend without reservation.

Had an emergency, called and was told would be an hour. Tech arrived in 25 mins, was knowledgeable, got to work, fixed the problem better than new. Would recommend for any needs.

Prompt, friendly service. Able to troubleshoot minor issues quickly and offer repair solution.

Ridiculously overpriced and a scam. I will never call them again in this lifetime.

They are awesome! They get there when they say they will and do a great job. I have used them on several occasions and wouldn t think about calling anyone else. Brian is really good.

Kay doubles their general service fee for emergency work on Sunday ($100 instead of $50). They disclosed this before I committed to the job and I was fine with paying the extra fee. However, they also charge extra for whatever services they end up providing. A $270 job costs $405 on a Sunday. The 1 hour job I needed ended up costing $504!!!

Also, the office was nice enough to call me 8!!!! times the following morning to collect payment. Their online payment did not allow me to pay by phone the previous day. I rent this house out and I am in a different time zone so these calls all came at 5:00am. One call and a message would have been sufficient.

In all, I think it s clear to see that Kay is focused on one thing, $$$. They fixed my problem but I wouldn t seek them out for further service because of their unannounced price gouging on Sundays and their unnecessarily persistent office staff.

Edit (in reply to the company s response):

-Calling 8 times in 29 minutes is unprofessional, whether or not you knew the time zone. Leave a message next time and let your customer reply to it as soon as possible.

-You did not disclose that your prices for work would be inflated because of the Sunday service until the repair technician was already on site. You only disclosed that the initial service fee was $100 instead of $50. I would have lost $100 for your service charge and wasted both or our time if I had decided not to pay the increased fee.

If you are going to attempt to reply to unhappy customers you should focus on addressing the facts of that particular situation instead of providing canned statements used elsewhere in your company s google profile responses. They come off the same way that your customer representative handled my call, disingenuous. Accountability is part of good customer service.

These guys were punctual, professional and seemed to truly care about doing the best job possible. They provided reasonable estimates and followed up with the same final costs. Joshua and Rusty did a great job repairing a difficult water leak issue. We won't hesitate to call Kay Plumbing again.

great communication from the lady who took my call,to the schedule confirmation by email, to the day of the appointment communication by the plumber Rusty Anderson who repaired our leaking shower drain expertly
though it was an in depth job requiring a cut through the ceiling downstairs to fix it. He was able to get the job done in less than 2hrs. He also explained everything clearly before and after he finished his work and answered any questions or concerns I had.
Definitely will recommend Kay plumbing service as long as they continue professional customer service like this.

Called Kay Plumbing to inquire about a reverse osmosis drinking
water system. Matt came out promptly, gave an estimate and installed

Great Service- we had a pipe burst. I called Kay Plumbing and they sent someone out right away. The plumber who came out was, Matt. He was very professional and promptly fixed the pipe. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Shout out to Kay Plumbing! They just set me up with a tankless hot water heater, upgraded from a terrible old electric unit, and it is amazing! Even better, I got one of their "toxin shield" whole-house water filtration systems so no more showering and bathing in chlorine and fluoride from city water! I also had two new toilets installed :)

Conrad's team is amazing. They were unbelievably fast and efficient. They fixed both of my fireplaces today and gave me valuable advice on maintaining my units. I will definitely be giving them a call in the future for any other issues or routine maintenance.

I have used Kay Plumbing services on three occasions. Each time the work was done expertly, in minimum time, and for reasonable costs. I trust Konrad and his team to handle my plumbing needs (install gas line to new gas oven, connect to new gas meter and provision required valves and cutoffs, install connections to new tub in master bath) with skill and professionalism.

Konrad completed our backflow testing as required by the city. He was on time, reliable, and they took care of all the necessary paperwork. Kay Plumbing did a great job for us.

Brian just left my house and there's no more need for a plumber! However, if I (or you) ever need plumbing help in the future - give these folks a call. They are super friendly and extremely knowledgable. My rental company offers a plumbing vendor but I rather have the peace of mind. Kay Plumbing, thanks for everything!

I had a listing in Irmo that needed some plumbing repairs. I called Kay Plumbing to come fix the repairs. Brian came out the same day, very professional and kind! He did amazing work and answered any questions I had. I will definitely be using them again!

On a Sunday afternoon in earliy May, the outside faucet on the back of the house fell off WHILE the water was turned on full force. Though I had never used Kay Plumbing before, I had heard of their reputation. I called and, after only two rings, a live person answered. It wasn't an answering service; it was a Kay Plumbing employee. I explained what happened, that I had no idea how to turn the water off, and that water was flooding our back yard and seeping underneath the house. While I'm freaking out, Jennifer calmly took all my information, fully explained the service-call charges I could expect, and assured me that a technician would be at my house within 45 minutes. The technician who showed up (in only 35 minutes) was professionally dressed, and I was thrilled to see "Master Plumber" on his shirt. I hadn't expected much more than some "weekend guy" who would shut the water off and tell me that a real plumber would need to come back on Monday. Instead, he turned the water off immediately, showed me why the faucet came off (poor installation), put a new one on and actually secured it directly to the brick (it had originally been glued in place), and inspected the other outside faucets to see if they showed signs of imminent failure. He showed me how to turn off the water should a future emergency occur, and even made an adjustment under the kitchen sink (at no additional charge) where we had a minor issue. This wasn't my first rodeo. I know professionalism and quality workmanship when I see it. If a plumbing problem ever arises at our house (or my office) again, I'll go no where else but Kay.

I called Kay for a toilet running issue. They were very responsive, sent someone out the next morning as it wasn't an emergency. The repairman called to let me know he was 30 minutes out, on time. He was professional, courteous, wore booties over his shoes to prevent tracking in and out. Showed me how much it would cost before he did the repair, got the repair done quickly and correctly. Brian was a professional, courteous repairman who was very helpful.

Very helpful and knowledgeable about out issues. Offered a reasonable resolution which worked well. Would use them again.

Briton was amazing! Our tankless water heater stopped working and we had a competitor come out first. They were trying to charge us $700 initially and then tried selling us a whole new water heater. It's only 3 years old and still under warranty!
Briton was professional, honest and extremely helpful. He contacted Rheem to troubleshoot the issue and got the part ordered at no cost to us because it was under warranty. So we only pay the service and installation fee!

Called Kay Plumbing and told them what my problem was, and they had a technician at my house within an hour. He called to say he was on the way and his eta. Brian came in, diagnosed the problem, told me my cost and did the work very professionaly. Once he. was finished, he was so thorough in his explanations of the work and what it entailed, we had no questions. He had a pleasant attitude, was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and is a great asset to your company.

Last Friday we came home to a plumbing catastrophe. We initially called another company, and they assured us they would be out to fix the issue in a few hours. An hour before end of business, ON A FRIDAY, they call to tell us they can't come, and not sure when they would be able to come the following day. As a family of five without any plumbing, you can imagine panic and chaos insued from hearing this. I called Kay plumbing in hysterics, praying somehow, they may be able to send someone to help us. 15 MINUTES! 15 minutes from me hanging up the phone to them ARRIVING AT MY HOUSE! I'm not sure Santa Clause could arrive faster than that! They had the problem resolved within an hour! The plumber was on his way home to enjoy the weekend with his family, and heard what was going on and came over to help us. You don't find customer service like that just anywhere, and then the cost was reasonable too! This company saved our bacon! I'll never reccomend another plumbing company again! Thank you all so much for your fast response and fixing of our Friday bathroom blunders!

Our pest control company spotted a leak under our house. We reviewed some of the top places in Lexington for plumbers and chose Kay. A gentlemen was at our house within the hour to assess. He articulated every step of the process and billing before doing anything. The leak was fixed within an hour of him being here and we were referred to another company to assess the moisture damage. Highly recommend this company.

They repeatedly rescheduled, charged $300 to detect a leak with no results, and did maintenance on our hot water heater and forgot to turn it back on when they were done. Also on another occasion they installed a pressure valve and caused a significant water leak in our yard but at least they didn t charge to fix that.

Always know I can count on Kay's. They are professional and dependable with reasonable charges.

Highly recommended! I own six rental properties and Matt has handled a variety of problems for us. Matt is always professional and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done right. They do a good job arriving when they promise and act like they are glad to have my business. All of our properties are on the protection program and it has saved us significantly in after-hours/weekend trip charges and overall discounts on the work. They are honest, hard working and know what they are doing.

We had a blocked pipe leading to the sewer system - I called Kay Plumbing who came out and charged me $50 to tell me it was a city problem. So I called the city who came out and said it was a plumber problem. So my dad and I ended up renting a sewer snake from Home Depot and doing it ourselves. Wish I had done that to start.

I am highly impressed by the work that Kay Plumbing has done for me. I am a landlord and recently had a problem with a 2 year old gas hot water heater, that was not putting out hot water. Tech was extremely nice and knowledgeable however he did not have the part on his truck and required two trips. I had to pay for the initial trip who pays me for lost time? Repair was efficient and seems to be working well. If it weren't for multiple trips it would be five stars. Tech wore booties and was on time. Would use again and would recommend.
