Nice department store with many choices of nearly anything. Interior is also worth checking. Staff are friendly. Late opening (22:00)!

It's the sort of East Berlin equivalent to KaDeWe. Food hall is downstairs with lots of eating options. Other food and coffee places on other levels. Has a hidden Champagne bar behind the wine and spirits section. Not everything is overpriced here. It is possible to get regular shopping, eg pasta, jeans, perfume at high street level.

Very expensive but it's a good place to find a special gift. The grocery section has a lot of imported food (priced at a premium) if you're looking for something you can't find at a normal grocery store.

I went there very close to the closing time and the employees were unbelievably (actually its not unbelievable..) rude, dissing me. A general note to the employees: if you do not like interacting with people, do not work in client-facing jobs.

The most beautiful department store in our city, clear, friendly, competent service and in the end I usually take a Dracula Marsecco home. There is only one here.

No smile. carelessly glued together. This is what Service Center looks like on the 5th floor. although there wasn't much going on there.
If you can't wrap it up, leave it. It's a real shame about the material.

I always like to go here. On the ground floor is Topshop and the cosmetics department with Sephora etc. is very large.

A huge department store in the "old" style. So not only individual shops, but everything (apparently) one. It's far too much for me. Too many articles, too many and too long ways, everything scattered so far, huge areas on which shoes or clothes or whatever is. After a short time, I did not feel like shopping anymore

My friend just came home with a purchase from Galeria Kaufhof. She bought about 150g of spianata at the counter; not noticed for the first time. Even while the lady at the counter was weighing the spianata, my friend was a little surprised and this was evident from her look. The lady then asked her in a very harsh tone, why she was looking at her, it was 147g. The problem was not the missing 3g, as it would not bother anyone to get 3g less salami. The problem was how the spianata was wrapped up. The salami is in a sad pile, thrown together and without wrapping paper or something similar on film. This is not the first time we are shopping at the counter in the Galeria Kaufhof and I personally have never seen anything like this at the butcher in the supermarket. When my friend replied that she had never seen anyone wrap salami like this, she only got the answer: somehow I have to do it. Very sad from a business that usually shines with the best quality and very good service. Accordingly, the bad mood of a single person will not continue to prevent us from buying at the counter. The only reason why the spianata is now in our kitchen and not at the counter is that an animal died for it. If it were up to the service and friendliness, I would have returned the product.

Variety of shops. This branch is well organized. This branch is really neat and clean despite hundreds of customers every day. I thought that was great. Most of the staff are friendly and nice. Less are unfriendly. I was almost always happy there. I would like to go back there. This branch is recommended.

The department store outside the Alexanderplatz station, close to the Berlin TV station, is a very comfortable department store. There is a coffee shop on the 5th floor to rest, and the service center and restroom are also on the same floor.

This is a multi-level store in the heart of Alexanderplatz. Big range of assortment for clothing, food, accessories and beauty just to name a few. There is also a restaurant. It can be sometimes particularly crowded but normally it's a pleasant place for shopping. Wide choice and nice sales associates.

All departments are treated in detail. The display of the goods is always perfect. The food department must be visited carefully as there are very high quality delicacies. Men's, women's and children's clothing from the best brands. It is a pleasure to shop in this great center!

Has always been a good, large traditional department store .... Just belongs to Alexanderplatz :)

Many discounts. Very nicely decorated and the central shopping center on Alexanderplatz. In addition barrier-free.

Das Konzept des Hauses, wo die Waren nach Themen sortiert sind, finde ich viel besser als die Sortierung nach Marken wie in nebenstehende Alexa.

Very large and yet very clear. you can always find what you are looking for. The staff are always helpful and are very experienced. There is a very large selection. Inside and outside the shop is always clean. Five stars are earned !!!

The supermarket on the first floor is now operated by Rewe. It is not a good thing. Boring products, at the fresh food counters everything is now packed in thin, inferior bags that let everything soak through. Disappointing.

Following the conversion of the old CENTRUM department store on Alex by Bilfinger Berger AG (a former battered major German construction company), Galeria Kaufhof has been able to keep up with the classic department store concept in addition to the "Alexa". Regular special offers and various culinary attractions (on the ground floor a joint restoration of Vietnamese and Italians and above "Le Bufet" leave nothing to be desired.)
