Even when our business and family schedules kept us from replying promptly, the Kauffman team stayed in the loop with us and handled the correspondence in a helpful yet persistent way. For both our personal and business taxes, I never feel that the advice is being timed by the billable hour - Doug freely provides what we need at the flat rates we agreed to in the beginning. What is the most basic customer service? Returning a customers call. I call, no one answers,I leave a message. I specifically repeat my return phone number clearly and slowly so that there is issue to call me back. Yet I'm still ignored. It is such a basic thing but they are either too disconcerned or incompetent. Neither is okay with me. Especially when dealing with sensitive personal financials. I also question the other highly starred reviews and whether or not they're fake. It doesn't make sense. J.G.

I am looking forward to a long-standing business relationship with Kauffman CPA Company as this was our first year using them to prepare our taxes, and it won't be the last! This past year we transitioned from Quickbooks Desktop to Quickbooks Online. For the past few years I was unsatisfied with our previous accountant as although I would get all of the information they needed to them in January/February, they would not call until the very last minute in April telling me our taxes were complete, and additionally they filed for an extension for our corporate taxes the last two years as well. Further more, I was extremely wary that they were not prepared for using Quickbooks Online. When I first converted to QBO, I ran into a lot of problems (mostly surrounding payroll). Our pastor referred me to Kauffman CPA Company to potentially help me with QBO as he had helped the office staff of our church get started using QBO,. After a few e-mails with Doug, and then upon meeting him to work through some of the QBO problems I was running in to, I was more than willing to transfer all of our tax preparation to Kauffman CPA Company. This past tax season was such a breeze for me due to the diligence, knowledge, and dedication of Doug and April.
