Kate's has a wonderful atmosphere. I've never had a negative experience there, and I visit very often.

Love the variety, I definitely want to try out some of the breakfast items in the near future... The new soda is awesome, as well as the cold coffee. :)

The only negative I have is the hours they are open. I have been trying to catch it open for a while. Loved the place and the fare.

This place is way over priced to make it in Port Huron . 14 $ for a sandwich . I went there before and they were 10$ a sandwich and I could easy eat 2 of them and I thought that was pricy. But now there 12 to 14 $ . There's about 25,000 people in Port Huron don't think there all doctors and lawyers most have a average income of $30,000 a year and they think people want to spend 10 to 14$ on a sandwich . I give this place 3 years and I'll be closed

Went to a private party hosted here great food staff was friendly I would recommend for your next party.

Loved the Apple Grilled cheese. Took too long to be served our food though. Kind of pricey for the amount of food that you get.

OMG this place is the cutest! The atmosphere alone is fantastic and then you get amazing food to boot! Kate is so friendly and appreciative. I wish I lived closer as I'd go here all the time! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT HERE!

The food is fresh and so good, the staff is super kind and helpful and the service was surprisingly quick!

The food, service and atmosphere were great!! 2 sandwiches, 2 soup and 2 beverages were over $40!! Very pricy.

Not only was i complimented while walking in, my drink was made quick and was made very well. I was greeted when coming in and when leaving. I went in alone and i usually never do that due to social anxiety but the staff made me feel welcome and not nervous or anything.

We had a bridal shower here and had a great time. The food was great and Kate was very helpful!

I will be going back. Great service, great food and owner is so friendly !!

Kate's has usually been amazing, however today staff was very slow, took several workers to even get an order placed, I have been here waiting for 20min and still not recieve my tea to go

Tasty, unique salads and sandwiches. I've had many great lunches here. I wish the beer cheese soup was in the rotation more often. Love it! The grill cheese with pesto was great and the specialty salad was delicious. It is a tad more than I'd want to pay for lunch on any kind of regular basis but great for a change every once in a while.

Top notch food and service. Very cozy and clean! Great toast and quiche!

This place is incredible. Such a great family place. The food is incredible and the service was beyond great. This is in the heart of downtown which makes it the ultimate cafe. It s even better than Casey s because of its short waiting time and better variety of food. You should visit Kate s as often as possible. It brings Port Huron together. It s not only in the heart of Port Huron, it is the heart of Port Huron.

Excellent salad with mixed greens and cucumbers. Wonderful house made dressing.

Found this place while window shopping in down town Port Huron. Very pleasant staff and cozy decor. We had avocado sandwich, kitchen sink cookie and espresso. Everything was delicious, top notch! Highly recommended

Great little quaint place in downtown. Staff extremely friendly and the sandwiches have punny names.

you will not find a friendlier, more inviting cafe than Kate's. Locally sourced ingredients and THE friendliest staff around. Kate herself is a little gem that brings a sunshine wherever she goes. This cafe has everything- amazing food, amazing drinks, and amazing staff & service.

Wonderful groove to the place. Positive, welcoming, fresh food. Fresh flowers on table top... that says alot!

Amazing atmosphere !! The staff is super attentive, friendly and helpful, the wait wasn t long, menu is short but has perfect amount of options. Healthy options, but appetizing. Loved it. Clean and going by COVID regs. Hands down one of the best lil hot spots in a downtown area.

Never ordered. Wasn't pleased w menu options & staff unwillingness (im sure its just how they do things) to change up and get a half grilled ham/cheese w a cup of soap. Thanks for the heads up the grilled ham/cheese is for kids.

Fabulous cafe with a unique menu, quality food, and friendly service. The wait is worth it, so no need to hurry! Best place in town to sit awhile and spend time with a friend.

The atmosphere, the food, and the service was great!

The sandwich was very good. It was a chicken salad, I got the whole grain bread but it comes with a different kind. I was very surprised they dont have plain Green Tea. But overall it was pretty good. Service is quite relaxed, so dont be in a hurry.

The place looked great and offered several Gluten Free options since I have Celiac Disease. I asked for the GF wrap and it came out with the bread; the man was remaking the wrap and we noticed he was using the same ingredients that was in the bread. My husband mentioned it to the waitress that Cross contamination will affect me. She let him know that he had to remake wrap entirely. But then used the same gloves to grab wrap and remake :( I just refused to eat it at this point. I am just shocked with Kate advertising a great place for GF and vegan that the staff isn t educated on cross contamination.

If you're in port Huron you need to checkout Kates kitchen . The sandwiches are excellent. Fresh bake bread is used to make their sandwiches.
