A great place ... A beach vacation suitable for families

Great hotel & resort in south of Bali, only 30 minutes drive from Bali's Ngurah Rai airport towards the hills of Ungasan village.

Held my wedding at Karma Kandara Bali, and it was wonderful. Big kudos to Julie (Yulia Primawati) on making it go smoothly. Thanks, and hopefully can come back here someday!

Beautiful resort, other than that its away from anything and everything.
I attended a wedding there, venue on the pool was great, it was an amazing event, the organization was great.

The hotel provided catering services, it was go buffet, but the presentation was too bad. As a 5 star hotel this shouldn't happen u less they were trying to get the event over so fast. They were dumping guests dishes with all kinds of food at the same time, beef, on top chicken then o top BBQ seafood, it was a disgusting way to do it.

I give this place 3 stars.

Big villa, with nice room. It got small pool in it. If u lucky enough, u also get visit from the monkey lol

I have experienced the blend of Balinese architecture and all the luxurious amenities at the private villas of Karma Resort, Bali. It was truly a marvelous destination for holidays. The stunning surf-kissed villas over there are a treat to eyes.

The villas are very good private and beautiful view

The location is extremely beautiful, and the private villa with three rooms is quite spacious. That is pretty all positive of this struggle to be bobo, chic karma kandara resort.

1. What they called the ocean view for the 1200 dollar per night villa was the view over an ugly gray ciment brige. When we asked for the change or any explanation, all we got was the poor employee repeting if you want a better view, you need to pay another 1200 usd more. with rather condescending attitude.

2. Reservation made since more than 10 months for 3 double-bed rooms, but they simply did not take that into account. One room with twin beds, all they did was puling them together with a sheet on it.

3. No bath rugs, on the very slippery cheap marble floor on the shower (like anywhere else in the villa), I had to ask twice to get them. No hair dryer, no hand towel, no wifi in the rooms (only in the living room), only two towels for swimming pool unless you insist. -Oh, but there was a condom with their brand name on it. Unfortunately the room was too poorly noiseproofed to use it! How sad.

4. One anti mosquito treatment per week, during a peaceful Friday afternoon, which is noisy enough to disrupt your nap. In Sofitel Bali, they do this everyday between 4 to 6 am, discretly. Well, each hotel has their own delicacy.

5. Extremely expensive wine price. Even compared to other five star hotels in Bali, the wine prices are 30 to 40% more.

6. Unprofessional, inefficent custumer service. I understand that the hotel is pretty busy due to the mid-automn holidays, but some staff just cannot be bothered to offer proper concierge service. Which seems quite abusive and clumsy for the luxurious high-end hotel.

7. Charitable chairman and group that they are proud of did not see any inconvenience to use the poorly maintained, narrow road of the less fortunate village around this luxurious resort, without bringing any amelioration.

8. 40 minutes to/from the airport as written on the site is simply unrealistic. Even the receptionist says it takes at least 45 minutes to an hour. The access to the resort is bad, far from any supermarket or other commercial structure. Of all the kichen facility (with lots of wine glasses but few plates), you will still struggle to cook for your family.



As some said, if it is to see the scenery, one day visiting will do enough (because anyway unless you pay 2000 usd per night, the view will be pretty limited). If you have no taste of quality service and construction but money, this place is for you!!

The view is great, but it is comfortable but muahaalll ... I came here because of the offer from Bali Getaway. At first it was really fun, because it was very cheap. Trs from the beginning, it's always not forced by anything ...

BUT IT WAS STANDING ... THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FREE LUNCH ... even though it doesn't work at the start, when the presentation is repeated, it doesn't force me, but just when I don't want it, the attitude is changed and it happens that our husband and wife get bad treatment and very humiliating ... from the beginning of the cm 2 hours per hour hmpr 1hr ...

For those who want to go, you should think well ... if you bring kids ...

Awesome venue meant for relaxing. Very isolated and hard to reach road-wise

A wonderful resort! The villa thay we stayed in was remarkable. Spacious and fully furnished. Every villa has a private swimming pool. But the resort also has some public swimming pools facing the ocean. There is also a private beach with white and smooth sand. You can take the elevator or climb down the stairs to get to the beach. The service was also really nice and friendly. Really a must try.

Great resort, the beach cafe is amazing!!! Try the Pizzas and the whole roasted chicken!! The rooms/Villas are amazing each having their own pool. The greenery in and around is so lush and you really want to come back for more. The service and hospitality is top notch. The rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. The market is a bit far but no hustle and bustle of the city adds to the experience. We really enjoyed our stay there!!

Fun and amazing, because it is able to display beauty, the comfort of God's grace for a controversial location

Spent four days here. Expensive food. There is a shuttle to take you to Jimbaran in morning and back in agternoon.

Exsotis place. From the top down to the beach take the railroad.

Exotic resort with unbelievable views of the ocean !

One of the most luxurious and beautiful resorts ever. The views are unparalleled. The villas are huge an have their own infinity pools. Beware of the monkeys! They are destructive. People with mobility issues please inform them in advance. They will do their best to accommodate you. The staff are just lovely and falling over themselves to make you comfortable. Would go there again in a heartbeat. Thanks you Karma Kandara for one of the most brilliant holidays I've ever had.

5 star resort I don't think so. Beach not great. Beach bar and restaurant not the best.

Amazing.. Can't get any better Location than this. Cable car to beach.. Monday movie night under the stars on private beach.. Everything is just an Experience in itself..

This one of the most amazing places I have been to. The beach is different in the morning and different in the evening. In the morning the water is clear and the water bed can be seen. The beach in the evening is different with high waves. And if you are planning to stay here in the karma resort, you are going to make one of the best choices of life. I stayed in the resort and the people are amazing here, they are sweet and helpful

Amazing Luxury Villas , beautiful location friendly staff . Possibly the best beach in Bali , white sands , quality djs and plenty of activities . Very cool cliff top spa with stunning views.

Great resort. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Only negative is the prices of food and other hotel amenities are really expensive and it was more cost effective for us to hire a driver for the day and go exploring outside the resort for food and activities. Saved us a fortune doing this and was great to explore the greater Bali

I really enjoyed the place and Its really peace and you can enjoy your own private beach also. And the view from cafe is mesmerising, seeing the blue ocean. Its awesome.
