Karma Kandara Ungasan (Nammos) Review

This place is so nice with stunning view and the service is very good

I had a lovely trip to the beach here by taking the stairs down and enjoyed a bar at the bar upon my return to the top. One complaint is how they try and force you to use taxi service upon leaving. Uber and similar services are allowed to drop you off here but they forbid pickups here by these types of services. This is ridiculous as they were writing me four times the Uber rate for a taxi. The solution was easy...I had Uber pick me up down the road.

Over all, it's all good and the view is amazing, only the mattress is very uncomfortable for a hotel of that class, you should replace the mattress because it's not very comfortable.

I'm very enjoying living in the abandon karma, I think 2 days not enough, the view is beautiful, the great food and the staff is very friendly. I hope to stay over there, the very homey villa... I miss it very much

Wow ... The villa is very private, the beach access from Villa uses a gondala which is rarely found. Very stunning view from the height.

This one of the most amazing places I have been to. The beach is different in the morning and different in the evening. In the morning the water is clear and the water bed can be seen. The beach in the evening is different with high waves. And if you are planning to stay here in the karma resort, you are going to make one of the best choices of life. I stayed in the resort and the people are amazing here, they are sweet and helpful.

The beach is cool .. white sand, clear water, the waves are a bit high, but you can still swim on the edge of the beach ..

An attractive seafront hotel suitable for holidays with the family, another interesting addition is a private beach called Karma Beach, which can be reached by using a train that runs downhill from the restaurant and vice versa ...

It losts its glory. Badly needs renovation, reception area is no longer five star to handle tired guests after a long flight, it s too small, bags everywhere, not enough place to sit.

The room is too old and dirty, room doors are not well maintain, the bathroom is dark with discolored marble.

The sofa is smeared, the list continues..

But THE STAFFS ARE NICE AND HELPFUL!

Cool, it's only time that the train that carries it down is broken ... It's sad ... I have to pass the beach next door, when the waves are high the danger is almost with the waves. Management must know that the waves are high. Let us be crossed TDK. Danger gaes. Well, don't force LG with the conditions above.

Superb property, away from the hustle bustle of the city.
Spacious and luxurious accommodations in the form of three bedroom villas with kitchen, drawing, dining and four attached toilets.
A private mini pool with shower and garden makes the stay very enjoyable.
Suitable for upto 6 adults and two kids.
The property also boasts of a private beach connected by cable car, infinity pool, kiddie pool, kids play area, gym, spa and two restaurants making the resort self sufficient for a memorable stay.

If you want to feel special, stay here!

The road to getting there is a bit tight as you near the resort. Even the check in lobby feels small. But get the paper work out of the way, hop on the buggy and you ll be taken to your villa through a maze of villas. Thinking back it feels like a village of its own.

The 4 BR villa we stayed at was enormous. We spent the afternoon at the pool, occasionally seeing monkeys swing from tree to tree. The restaurant on the beach was typical to be honest. The tram ride to get down to it is a unique experience, much like the one at Rock Bar.

The next morning we went to the private beach after breakfast. The view looking out to the pool, the ocean, and into infinity is worth a million dollar.

On the beach it was picturesque in every which way.

A must visit prime property at Bali, a must must visit to the hotel to enjoy its luxurious villas with private pool, the hotel infinity pool and the karma private beach

Always my ultimate and most favorite hotel as Karma Royal Residence (KRR) owner. Best hotel I ever stayed in Bali!!

Suggestion for improvement:
- update some dated unit with fresh interior design,
- clean up all windows from outside (found room 50 has dirty upper window), seen clearly from inside
- check lamp on each rooms, found room 65 has dark spot on sofa in front of TV and room 50 has dark almost every where inside room.
- clean private pool regularly, i.e unit 65, the pool is not really clean.
- add a la carte menu on Di Mare during dining.

Far from the noise of Bali, the view is very special. Parking is less extensive, such as in extension, staff is friendly. Recommended for families

Been here for many times, the resort is nice, beautiful view, but check-in & check out too slow, I hope the can fix it.

Perched on a clifftop above a lovely sandy beach, family-friendly Karma Kandara is one of southern Bali s most luxurious resorts. It offers 54 stunning multi-room villas set in private gardens with infinity pools, all featuring full kitchens, outdoor dining areas, and upscale amenities such as free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and outdoor showers. The gorgeous, serene grounds include two pools (one of them overlooking the ocean), a top-notch spa with cliffside massage huts, a Mediterranean restaurant, and a rooftop bar with views. But the highlight here is the hip beach club, complete with cabanas and a restaurant, and accessed via a funicular. Banyan Tree Ungasan Bali has an even sleeker feel, but rates are higher.

The service was personal and excellent. The property is beautiful and well managed. Food was so good at the restaurant, not only delicious but also so pleasing in terms of presentation.I love the Karma hotels.

Be careful if you're just visiting the beach and eating at the restaurant downstairs. The employees do not warn, and the entrance to the elevator is strictly 550,000 rupees per person, of which you can spend 300,000 on a restaurant. If you are not ready to pay that much, you will have to walk a very steep concrete staircase yourself (some of the wooden steps have collapsed below).

Some of the best breakfast views you will find in Bali. Rooms are nice but definitely has a hotel vibe rather than a traditional Bali villa. Can spend a lot of time at the beach club with free activities such as kayaking, SUP and volleyball.

At first appearance, this is a very impressive resort. The view from the restaurant is absolutely breath taking. The villa's are large. The service seems good. However, we did not enjoy our stay at Karma. Everything was incredibly over priced. The food was average. Our room had an unusable veranda (pictured below) and some the furniture was covered in mould. The bathroom mirror needed replacing. The location of the resort is very isolated, so you truly need to rely on the food and services provided, as you can't really go elsewhere. On a positive note, the spa and pool area are highlights, and the beach club is also pretty cool (but again, very average food). In all honesty, I'm not sure how this is advertised as a 5 star resort.

I m not one for leaving reviews as this is my first, but the whole Karma group have been a major disappointment. My partner and I spent $300+ On a massage and it was the most uncomfortable massage for both of us. The following day we both received $10 massages which blew karmas out of the water. The following week we were approached on the streets by a Karma group employee who told us we had won a prize which turned out to be a time share scam. (Should have known it was to good to be true) luckily we didn t go through with it but, I just thought I should warn others before they re scammed.

Very nice place but much too expensive. If you are not a hotel guest and want to go to the beach, just drive a little further along the road to Finn's Beach club: half the price but same beach as Karma. Beach is very crowded though.
