KAPOHOKINE ADVENTURES Review

We took the Maunakea Stellar Explorer tour (2:45-10:30pm) and it was amazing.

It was all done by one tour guide who knew a ton and was super friendly and genuine. I usually expect schooled guides that talk like they've given the same tour dozens of times monoton, uninterested. This was the complete opposite and more than I ever hoped for!

The walk through a huge coffee farm, views of the Pacific, home-grilled BBQ dinner with sunset views and star gazing in the cold night with hot chocolate, learning about astronomy it felt like an evening with a group of friends, more than being on a tour.

I highly recommend this tour, thank you!

Bert and Vaa were exeptional at guiding us through the rough terrain with the Rzr tour! I just wish we could've explored more through the area but the waterfall experience made up for it. Other than that it was an awesome experience. You will get muddy!!

Our ziplining experience was awesome. The 2400 foot line was amazing! I would recommend this adventure to everyone seeking an adventure. The guides were super friendly and the whole thing was run extremely well.

Star Gazing tour with Lawrence, Crystal, and Rick was awesome. Our driver, Lawrence shared his knowledge and stories of Hawaii with an amazing passion. Crystal had a vast knowledge of the night skies that was taken full advantage of on what was a night so clear we were told we didn't know how lucky we were. Next was an amazing zip lining experience with Chantel, Rachel, Emily, Ona, and Jesse. With these guys, you were in great hands. Malaho!

We had a blast ziplining through Hilo. The staff Ray (driver) was very informative. Once we arrived at the ziplining site the staff ( Gregory, Brandon, and Leya) we're very awesome people. They made the experience even better with their fun personalities. Definitely gives this company a try, you will not regret it. Thank you for the top notch service and outstanding employees.

Definitely focused on Aloha here! All the guides Ashleigh, Ona, Kiata, Weylan, Destiny and driver Fabian were super friendly and helpful. They took the time to learn everyones name and make you feel welcome. The scenery is amazing, and Oh yeah there are ziplines!

You have to do this! Ziplining above waterfalls and rivers, and in the tree canopy. Amazing experience while in Hilo

Did the zipline. Fantastic guides. But it was very slow with a lot of waiting around. We got back well over an hour late, in part, due to a slow group (a 70 year old grandmother had to bail which cost time...small kids had a slow start and then needed extra time, etc). Since we came from the West side of the island, it was essentially 8+ hours to do 5 good ziplines (the other 3 ziplines were short and just to get in position). Don't get me wrong-- those long zips are exhilarating. I can't help but wonder how they can move you through more quickly while still upholding safety standards. It's certainly possible with more pipelining of lines rather than a 12-person group having to go one platform at a time (with parallel lines per platform). Though this would require additional staffing. A single free picture download might have been nice to make up for the delayed return.

We took the zipline paradise adventure through Kapoho Kine. It was such an amazing adventure and a fantastic experience for our whole family. Our guides, Ona and Ashleigh, really comforted us throughout the tour . I strongly recommend you to definitely go on this tour if you happened to be on the Big Island

Omg what a great experience for my 13 year old boys. They had the time of there life. The guides were incredible especially TIFFANY! What a spitfire she was. So engaging and entertaining. They were so sweet and helpful to me because I walked the course to afraid to try zip lining. I wish I could overcome my fear because it looked like a riot to do. Maybe next time. If I do it will be at this establishment that s for sure.

Makena,kuuipo & gytis were our family tour zip guides ,they were awesome and we all had an amazing time , lots of fun and jokes !!! I recommend anybody in Hawaii ,local or tourist to visit kapohokine and go ziplining

Zip lining with KapohoKine Adventures is a 10/10. The guides and drivers really make the experience and deserve a shout out: Tiffany is hilarious and knows her whale facts. Jessie is a wealth of knowledge for all things trees and foliage. Dan Dan the battle rope man is... the man. And Kyle is the by far the best car karaoke shuttle driver there is. Thanks for the fun- we will be back! Mahalo, friends.
