My engagement ring broke and I really wanted to update and upgrade what I had. Kaplans happened to have a gorgeous setting that was exactly what I wanted! They reset my diamond in the setting and had it ready Christmas Eve! They are remaking my diamond and sapphire wedding band to match the new setting. I can not wait to see the final result! I couldn't be happier with my new and improved rings!

We recently moved into the Borough of West Chester and have visited Kaplan s on two occasions, once to purchase an engagement ring and once for watch repair. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful on both occasions. The jewelry is high quality and they are very knowledgeable about the product and service they offer. They also seem to have a very sound game plan in place for protecting their customers during the Covid crisis. It is very obvious that this is a small town business that cares about the service they provide and the customers who visit them.

I had a great experience! After years of wanting to update my engagement ring and band, I finally took the plunge and headed to Kaplan's at the suggestion of a friend. So glad I chose them! I was so happy that Kaplans was open . I had several pieces of jewelry that had sentimental value and needed repair. I also had a valued diamond I wanted reset on a chain. Fortunately the Kaplans do all of their own bench work on the premises so you know your pieces are safe. They spent much time with me even though I wasn't purchasing anything. And Ivan fixed a beautiful bracelet and polished a decorative necklace clasp to it's original beauty and charged me for neither. We are very fortunate to have the Kaplans in our community as their inventory is quite distinctive and gorgeous , and their service to their customers is stellar!

Dropped off a gold necklace to get the clasp fixed and was told 2 weeks. Never got a call or anything within that timeframe so I called after 3 weeks and was told it ll be done next week, no call again, I called them after that week and was told wait another week, i said I am coming in to get it instead since it had now been 5 weeks and it magically was done all of the sudden once I said i was taking it somewhere else. They gabe me a run around for 5 weeks when it literally took them 5 seconds to fix after i put pressure on them about it.

Choosing Kaplan s was the best decision I could have made for my engagement. I brought a family stone to them and fell in love with a setting that designed for another cut of diamond. Not only was the owner able to customize the ring More

Terrible service. I have to continue to follow up with them for timing. I took in a simple ring for them to replace a shank and it broke within a month and a part of the ring was lost. They were not willing to give a refund and said it would be a couple weeks until their jeweler was back and it has been over a month with no response with a proposal to fix it somehow. I will not go back and would not recommend in the future. Just because I didn't bring in a huge expensive diamond ring, does not mean that I deserve lesser service.

We have known Lisa and Ivan Kaplan for 34 years and bought our first engagement ring from their store 34 years ago. Sinc then there have been many other lovely pieces purchased from their store! Kaplan s Fine Jewelry is awesome! My mom had 2 rings, one was a diamond and 1 was topaz. She recently passed away and wanted me to have the rings. I wanted to make the 2 rings into 1. Teresa was fantastic, she knew exactly what to do to make it work. I wanted it done in a month, in time for my son s wedding. I didn t know if it could be done or how it would look. They finished the ring 2 days earlier than scheduled and it looks gorgeous! The rings were transformed into 1, but when I look at it, I see the 2 rings on my mom s hand. I recently took two gold link bracelets in for repair to build up areas where the gold had worn thin. One bracelet I was quoted $800.00 to repair the other $350.00. I refused this outrageous repair cost, I told the lady behind the counter that I could purchased brand new bracelets at that amount. She didn't seem fazed in the least. Last week I picked up my newly repaired jewelry from another goldsmith in town.. the cost..$58 for both. NEVER AGAIN KAPLAN!

Absolutely love Kaplan s! Had some jewelry appraised there then purchased some diamond stud earrings right around Mother s Day during their shutdown due to the current crisis. Lisa Kaplan took time to call me to thank me and the earrings arrived so quickly and are absolutely stunning! To top it all off, they included a few little extras such as a lighted box, which shows off these beauties so nicely, which they gift wrapped, and a little box of chocolates.
