Reached out to get an estimate for gutter install on the front/side of my house. Ward, David and Crystal responded to all my queries, and were quick to get me an estimate for the job. It was easy to schedule, well-priced, and perfectly executed. Will definitely use them as my go to for roofing work, etc.

Honest, fair, professional and exceptionally competent. If you have been hit by hail, this is the contractor to call for an honest evaluation. If you had damage, this is the contractor you hire to fix. In an industry full of "ambulance chasers" and untrained/poorly-managed contract labor, Kangaroo is a shining exception. They are fantastic, a gold standard. I was fortunate that a friend recommended them to me. Now I'm paying it forward.

We have had Kangaroo Contractors make repairs to our Stonebridge Home for years. This year's hail storm was major. Ward Vestal, owner and manager of Kangaroo personally called us the morning after the storm and came immediately to evaluate the damage. Kangaroo's Project manager, Rob Sielert, handled the complexities of the job and Allstate. The work was performed exactly as planned with just excellent quality. While we watched roofs go on in our neighborhood around us, the difference with Kangaroo was so obvious. We had not one glitch and we have a new and much better roof, new fascia boards and gutters. The workers were so careful to cover our shrubs and garden areas. We never once had to worry. The costs were right on target with the estimate. We can't give enough praise for this fine, HONEST, company. We would never use anyone else. They've been consistently the best over so many years.

I asked Kangaroo Contractors for a quote to fix my roof. They may not be the cheapest, and certainly wasn't the most expensive, as Goldilocks would say "Just right". His crew of installers did a great job of replacing all my Shingles and installing attic ridge vents on my roof. I wanted to see who was working on my house so I made an unannounced visit. I was extremely pleased with what I saw, all of my property and shrubbery were very well protected, clearing up as they went. The Lead installer greeted me, not knowing who I was and was very courteous and answered all of my questions. I will highly recommend Kangaroo Contracting and look forward to them quoting the next project I don't want to do, a shower conversion.

Kangaroo replaced my roof after a hail storm a few years back. Since then they have responded quickly and without hesitation to each and every roof-related question or concern that I have had. As a result of my experience with their roofing work, I have hired them to do additional construction. Their quality and workmanship is top of the line, their rates are always reasonable, and their follow up and responsiveness is some of the best I have experienced. I strongly recommend them for all of your roof and construction needs!

Highly recommend Kangaroo for all your remodeling needs. They just completed a large project at my home that included all new exterior paint, new windows, all new siding/soffits/trim, new attic insulation, garage door, gutters, etc. They did great work, and Rob, the PM, was excellent at communicating the status of everything and coming by daily to check progress and provide updates. Crews that did the work were very prompt, professional, and paid attention to detail. Even with all the rain we've had this Winter they finished on schedule. I will use Kangaroo again! 5 Stars all the way.

Kangaroo Contractors' bid was most reasonable, and since I know the quality of their work from jobs done at friend's homes I went with them.
The bid and the work were done in a timely manner, the workers were good about answering my question and my fence looks great.

Kangaroo Contractors has done two very big jobs for me as well as a handfull of small jobs. A kitchen remodel was our first experience with Kangaroo. If you've ever had interior remodeling done you know that it can be potentially a painful experience. We were quite pleased at how well the work went and more than satisfied with the quality of craftsmanship. Most importantly was the great communication between the company and ourselves. Work was completed when it was scheduled to be completed.
When our roofs disappeard in a freak windstorm, Kangaroo hopped to it. Within hours we had a tarp on our house and on our barn. Because they are certified claim adjustors, they worked with our insurance company to file the claim and get the work done in a timely manner.
I would recommend Ward Vestal and Kangaroo Contractors if for no other reason than their integrity. There are many ways construction projects can go wrong. but my experience with Kangaroo over the last few years has made me feel confident that I'll always receive good work, great communication and professional service.

Excellent work, highly recommended! After a severe hailstorm, they replaced my roof, gutters, and some windows, and they also repaired and re-stained my fence. In all areas, they were fast, efficient, on-schedule, and highly skilled. I liked their work so much that I also had them install new gutters all around my house -- which also turned out great! Their prices were very reasonable. David and Ward were very easy to work with. I highly recommend them and Kangaroo.

Kangaroo Contractors recently finished repairs of Spring storm damage to my home. Ward and Rob were outstanding in so many areas. First and foremost, communication. There was never a time when a contractor showed up at my home unannounced. The work was well supervised and the sub contractors were all outstanding. The clean up was also done very well. I would not hesitate to recommend Kangaroo Contractors to tackle any project whether it be large or small.

These guys are great. The do a wonderful job and clean up when they are done. The work is always inspected by the owner before collecting payment. Happy to have them work on my projects.

Excellent service from the very beginning until completion of job. They handled all billing with Insurance company. Besides the roof replacement, the claim entailed interior painting and Sheetrock repairs. Also replaced patio doors, sun screens, gutters and downspouts. Never expected this kind of professionalism from a roofing contractor. It was the BEST experience I have ever had with any company EVER! Love Kangaroo Contractors! I have used Ward Vestal since Kangaroo was just a window cleaning company and some basic handy man services! I just got my windows cleaned and will call to get a quote on painting my house. Fabulous!

Ward and his team are exceptional. In the world of home improvement, it feels so risky to turn over your home for any type of repair or upgrade. Ward and his team are on time, on budget and the work is extremely well done. In our million dollar home, it is important that the finish out be consistent to the original build. Ward does not disappoint.

Kangaroo Contractors does great work. They are honest, timely, and their attention to detail is second to none. They have replaced my roof, remodeled my master bathroom as well as a secondary bathroom, and repaired and refinished my hardwoods when my dishwasher leaked. I would not consider having any other contractor work on my home. Kangaroo is the only contractor I recommend.

Kangaroo Contractors of McKinney came out to clean our gutters and downspouts. It was a huge job, but they did it well and for a very fair price. The service provider was on-time, professional and polite.

High quality work, fast service, reasonable prices! They installed a cedar post with a lockable mailbox (after Plano knocked it down) quickly. Very nice job! I've used them in the past. I will definately use Kangaroo again in the future!! Much appreciated!!

Second review. Kangaroo did carpentry work and painting on my house and I am very very happy! I will recommend them to anybody that needs work done. They are my go to guys!

Ward and his crew are always prompt, professional, and considerate of the property. Kangaroo's work is top notch! Never had a problem with any of the work so I can't say anything about follow up because its not needed. While roofing most of the houses in my neighborhood, I noticed Kangaroo was the only roofer who made sure that his workers needs were met for water and facilities. Happy workers do better work!

9/2020 Big project by Ward and David. David came out and was always courteous and worked well with his crews. Finished much quicker than expected. The only drawback was they showed up at 7 AM on Monday morning. I didn't expect them so early. It got done in one day! Big roof. Neighbors immediately were commenting on how good it looks.

I used Kangaroo a few times. Each time Ward and team have provided great service at resemble price. Eye to details.

I honestly wanted to believe all of the raving reviews about Kangaroo Contractors but our experience was far from anything we ve seen posted. I reached out on July 17th to have our home we recently purchased bid for an interior remodel. They came on July 22nd and took measurements and wrote down all items I wanted completed. He told me it would be a week at the latest to receive the bid. I understood and said that was completely fine and to just let me know if there was anything needed. On the 29th of July I reached out and asked about our bid I received a response the next day... Yes I am working as hard as I can on these estimates. However, I have 11 big ones to work on before I will get to yours. I have to do them in the order I receive them to be fair to everyone. It will probably be the middle of next week before I can finish it. Thanks, Ward I simply responded with a thumbs up waiting another week. On August 17th (18 days later) I reached back out asking for an update and was given the response... Sorry we got overwhelmed with work and leads. We won t be able to estimate it for awhile. So it takes over a month to receive a bid for work?
What would I expect once they actually started the work? How long would that take?? Zero communication, zero progress, and poor excuses. Why is our project not important? I d hate to think it had to be driven by anything other than work load...but I ve never seen this happen with any reputable contract company. Sadly they lost a job that would ve likely been $40-50k.

Kangaroo replaced our roof after hail damage, and I couldn't have been happier with the work or the service. It's my personal policy to always support a local business, and in this instance, I was blessed twice with not only a neighborhood business owned by a great local family, but one with a stellar reputation. If I need work done again, they'll be the first call I make.

Very pleasant experience. Had Attic work done on Feb 6th/2017. Insulation upgraded to R-49, wind turbines installed and some extra Soffit vents made along with the widening the existing ones. Also had some Venting pipe leaks repaired on the roof. They exceeded my expectations with their honesty when they gave me the quote, which included only the necessary items to be done to make my attic more efficient. Their work and attitude was markedly better that most other Contractors I have had hired for my home improvements.

We had an excellent experience with the Kangaroo Contractors. They professionally replaced our roof after damage from a hail storm. And they provided excellent support and service when maintenance was needed. Their staff is responsible and helpful and ready to do the best.

I had to to replace the roofs on the two condominiums that I rent. I compared prices and quality of the project. Kangaroo was not the most inexpensive, it was in the middle, however I did like the quotation process and the how detailed it was. Kangaroo was very professional and they always kept me informed of the process of the project. They handled all the paper work with the insurance, and they did not ask for the balance of the funds until I have received the money from the insurance company.
I will definitely refer Kangaroo Contractors to my friends and family. I would contract then again if I need them in the future.

We have used Kangaroo Contractors for a few different projects including making our attic more energy efficient, replacing our roof, and repairing a hole in our ceiling. They are excellent at communication, arrive when they say they will, and are priced competitively. I would recommend them.

Hi everyone, just wanted to recommend Kangaroo Contractors if you need window washing! I ve been using them for 6 years and they never failed to impress me with the efficiency and quality of their work. They have a very easy way to do the estimates on their website, so I always know how much I will be paying. Highly recommended company!

UPDATE Nov 2020. We have lost count of the number of home improvement/remodeling jobs KC has done for this house. The latest was to replace four outside doors after 22 years of use and wear and tear. The work was well planned and completed in short order. I have already told them of 2021 project.s We have been using their services for many years.. They are my first choice for home repairs beyond my skill level. Especially if it means getting above the first floor outside or on the roof. Window cleaning, sun shade screening, fence repairs, minor plumbing, tile flooring and attic insulation are many things they have done over the years. Most recent was repairs following a hail storm. They did the finish work by painting the entire house and fixing broken window frames and screens. If they can't do it Kangaroo can provide an excellent referral. UPDATE Aug 2015. They finished a great modeling job on kitchen; new everything except cabinets which didn't need change. Scheduling all the sub-contractors took the headache out of getting the job done right and quickly. UPDATE May 2016. And they did another great job on master bathroom. Not as extensive as kitchen but still well done. UPDATE Dec 2018 Repairs completed in an excellent manner due to leaking roof damage in family room. Fixed sheet rock and repainted. Also replaced/repaired worn faded trim on roof area and installed better turbo wind vanes for attic.

I can t say enough how much I would recommend Kangaroo Contractors!! I have worked with many contractors and have never had the experience of integrity and punctuality that I experienced with this company. The price was more than fair and the service was exceptional and worth every penny.

Kangaroo Contractors was recommended to me and I'm thrilled with the work they did. My wood staircase up to the main attic was loose and deteriorating and they replaced it with a sturdy, high quality, easy to use aluminum one. They showed up as scheduled and fixed a couple of other minor things for me. I would highly recommend Kangaroo Contractors for any "around the house" help that you may need.

I have used Kangaroo Contractors for more than 15 years. They have done roof replacement, roof repairs, and window cleaning. I have always been very pleased with their prompt responses, great communication and excellent service.

I have rarely seen such a keen intrest by residential contractors to do the best job possible. I highly reccomend Kangaroo Contractors for home projects. They have done 2 seperate unrelated jobs for my home. I plan in the late fall of this year to have them start another job for my family room.

They may not be the least expensive, but you get what you pay for. I am convinced that you'll see it's not all dollars-and-cents; when the job is done right the first time and you don't have to deal with call-backs, etc.

Kangaroo Contractors installed new appliances, counter tops and cabinets in my kitchen. They were professional, prompt and skilled.

I recently had a roof replaced on a small rental house that most other contractors wouldn't touch because the job was too small. Kangaroo arrived on time, ensured my property was protected from debris and completed the job in a timely manner. I couldn't be more please as the roof looks wonderful and the crew was very efficient.

So very pleased with the work they've done at our home. They opened up our bedroom by adding sliding doors that lead out to our patio/deck. They were punctual, pleasant and respectful of our property. We had no problems or complaints because of their professionalism. We plan on working with them again on another room in our home.
