A great place to find Mexican and Latin American foods and ingredients. Perola's is my go-to spot for Mexican peppers, chillies, and tomatillos, which can be tough to find at other stores. The staff was friendly and happily answered my questions.

Great place, I always get my tortillas from here (they have many varieties). They also have a good selection of dried beans, chilis, and Mexican cheeses. Very friendly and helpful staff, they always say hi and ask if you need help.

All products are way overpriced! This place has been catering to the Hispanic community for years with no major competitors. You can find a good variety of products though, but the ratio attention/price/quality is just not there. Their produce is also over ripen and sold anyway.

I don't know where else downtown Toronto you can get dried chili pods other than here. Very friendly employees. So much variety. They will have everything you need for your Latin cooking needs

If you miss Mexico, this is the place! Like a Mexican convenience store, you can find a lot of Mexican products like tortillas, salsa and other products, great selection of products. It's a little pricey but it worth it

This place was recommended to me by a chef. It is a great secret weapon when you need certain foods. Lots of dried peppers and specialty produce like tomatillos, Poblano peppers, Serano chilies. The staff there are very friendly, and will help you out, if you are looking for certain items. It s always worth a trip to Kensington market, regardless, but stop in here for sure.

Wasn't in here for long, mentioned I was making a paella and BOOM without hesitation had everything for it!
I'm sure I was up sold but felt more than comfortable being out of my element! Such nice staff! 11/10

Went into this shop to find my favourite hot sauce which is hard to find in Toronto, they not only had it, they also had other sizes! The prices here are fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

So disappointed. I understand the prices are high. You should pay extra attention to the expiration date. I purchased a jar of dulce de leche that later I would realize was expired. The expiration date was faint, looking as though it had been deliberately erased to hide the fact that it had expired the day before.

Excellent place to try out Mexican street snacks the have a good variety of products and they taste good. I little pricey but maybe once in a while is not that bad is not something you eat all the time.
Wish they had tables and chair to eat in there as they are take out only.

There aren't a lot of Latin markets in Toronto, so at least there's that... But after all their years in business, they could clean the dust off some of their stock. The produce, what little they bring in fresh, is hit or miss.

A wonderful place to buy many of the Goya brand name products essential to many Spanish and Latin American dishes. The folks working here are very friendly and appreciate your business. The pricing is excellent too. A true fixture in Kensington Market, these people have been here for ages and ages. A small store packed with all kinds of goodies, you must check it out. If you like to cook you should check out this store.

The only place I know of to get all the dried Chili's you need to make all sorts of Mexican things. If you can't find your Mexican ingredients here then forget about the recipe..... Kensington market itself leaves a lot to desire.

Best place in the city to get hard to find Mexican and Central American ingredients. They are super helpful if you don t know exactly what you re looking for or where in the store it is, and happily put up with you practicing your Spanish.
